Bucs Hold The No. 3 Seed In The NFC

December 16th, 2024

The Bucs don’t only look destined to make the playoffs, they now hold the No. 3 seed in the NFC.

At 8-6 atop the NFC South, the Bucs have the same record as the NFC West co-leaders, the Rams and Seahawks. However, the Bucs have a 6-3 record in NFC games.

That’s better than the Rams’ 5-5 in-conference record and the Seahawks’ 4-5 mark, and conference record is the first tiebreaker among division leaders.

So the Bucs are in fantastic position to hold the No. 3 seed, especially considering the Rams and Seahawks face each other in the regular season finale.

Tampa Bay has three in-conference games remaining against the Cowboys (6-8), Panthers (3-11) and Saints (5-9).

Four REAL BADDDDD Offenses Down. And, Three More To Go. Young. DeVito/Lock. O’Connel/Ridder. A real ‘banged-up’ Herbert, with ZERO run game. Next up… Cooper Rush. Young, again. Then, Spencer Rattler. LoL. It’s ALL “Smoke & Mirrors.” But, hey… I’ll take it! Oh, the fanatics.

Maybe now we can stop the fire Bowles crap.
everyone so quick to fire a coach, don’t you know the good teams DONT fire coaches over and over and over. give him MORE talent on defense.

  11. Mac Says:

Nick…give him more??? Our first round and 2nd round picks are almost always defensive players. They are your premium picks. He doesn’t develop them is the problem. If Bowles would realize that if he had a premium pass rusher this defense could get to another level. He just doesn’t care to get one or use the ones he has.

I was really wanting us to sign Bobby Wagner last off-season, would have been cool to have the two oldest LB’s playing together, and they’re both still very good

Way back when everyone was looking at the last 7 games on the Bucs schedule and said the only likely loss was to the Chargers. Things have changed dramatically since then. Only 3 games left now and I’m growing increasingly concerned about the Cowboys. I think next week will determine how good the Bucs really are. Another road game against a really good defense.

Very fair point. It’s concerning that our secondary thinks we’re playing two hand touch at tackling time.

Great win yesterday, no doubt, but just as Bowles wasn’t the worst coach in the league on Saturday.. he’s not the greatest Coach ever on Monday.

Even keel Buc fans. Even keel.

  15. Pewter Power Says:

Sorry but the fire Bowles chants aren’t going anywhere but he will get a break for shutting down that top ranked chargers offense in the second half. Jeff called out the exact number of points Bucs would put up yesterday awesome job.

Leading up to yesterday’s game all I kept hearing is how bad Todd bowles defense is going to be how bad Bucs offense was going to be against the chargers how tough their defense is going to be to deal with. We went there and out coach Jim harbaugh did you see his face on TV it, the shower him more than once. Looking a little bit baffled could not stop our offense. And yes the bolts started up by carving us up. But, from the very beginning we were close so close to getting on Herbert just as he got rid of the ball. Then finally got a few hits & sacks and yes he had a hurt leg and we slowed him down with his. For this was a well-rounded effort by the entire team against another team trying to do the same thing the bucks are doing give them credit let’s freaking go the playoffs are here
