Todd Bowles Made Andy Reid’s Night

November 5th, 2024

Surprised.

Joe is very confident that as Joe is typing this here story at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, there are Bucs fans still awake, unable to go to bed so peeved that Bucs coach Todd Bowles played it safe instead of going for the knockout punch in a loss to the Pat Mahomes-led Chiefs in rainy Kansas City.

Joe cannot believe it either. Just about any other team, Joe could sort of understand the decision. Not this Chiefs team. Not this quarterback. No way.

But yeah, way. Bowles did it. And Joe wonders if this decision will be top of mind for the team’s shot-callers — now or in January.

Kansas City media could not believe Bowles didn’t go for two. They thought it was a total no-brainer of a call. In fact, one writer told Joe he fully expected Baker Mayfield to score the winning conversion on a quarterback draw.

You know who else was shocked? Chiefs coach Andy Reid.

The long-time Chiefs coach was asked if he knew why Bowles didn’t go for two.

“No,” Reid said. “But I’m glad he didn’t.”

Assclown2.0 needs to go. He never learns.
Please post an article of coaching candidates as possible replacements.
Outline strength and weakness of each.
Who thinks that Bruce Areans would have not gone for two to win?

Bowles is a liability to a team that cant afford to fight the HC $hit for brains clock management. Wont matter this team is winning a one way trip to the golf course.

You don’t. They are smarter with money and business than ignorant, emotional cooters who can’t spell and don’t proofread.

What in the last 33 years makes you think the Glazer family is going to fire a coach who went into the SB champs’ stadium, with a beat up team, and took them to OT?

Why did the Bucs play well last night after losing Evans, Godwin, McMillan, and Dean? I’ll tell you: they like Bowles. They love Bowles. They believe in what they are doing.

This was not a Denver effort. They failed, but they played to the final whistle.

It’s not like they gave it up to a crappy team.

Everyone, get over it. It’s barely half way through the year and they lost their two best players.

    Sometimes this happens.

Would you rather be a Cowboys fan???

  9. Pewter Power Says:

I sleep very well because I’m tired of being right about Bowles. I did not watch overtime so it didn’t sting as much

  10. Morgus the Magnificent Says:

Bowles is a nice man. Bowles is a likeable man. But Bowles will NEVER bring a team to the Super Bowl. Todd Bowless. YOU HAD TO GO FOR TWO !!!!! National media is absolutely TRASHING Bowless.

  11. OrlandoBucFan Says:

Bowles is a mental midget when coaching against giants, like Reid, Harbaugh, or Payton. He’ll likely get schooled next week by Shanahan, another excellent coach.

  12. BuckyBuc Says:

    No Balls Bowles

  13. Leopold Stotch Says:

1 step forward, 2 steps back with him. It’s a shame.

  14. Bosch Says:

Morgus – seriously? What’s likable about Todd deadpan arrogant disingenuous Bowles?

  15. Jake been there since the beginning Says:

The special gift, and the Chiefs remain undefeated. From Todd Bowles. Another loss and a ? into the thinking of TB head coach. We have been hit by friendly fire yet again, oh and it cost another win. Come On Man. That’s something…
