    YES WE WILL!

  2. Defense Rules Says:

Probably won’t beat them in a low scoring game, but a higher scoring game could be interesting. Chiefs are undefeated at 7-0, but they haven’t been running away with the games like they have at times in the past. The most points they’ve scored in any game is 28 (they’ve scored in the 20’s in every game but 1); the most they’ve surrendered is 25 (their defense has only allowed more than 20 points once). So their games have been reasonably close (average differential of about 6 points).

Chiefs’ defense will be a good test for our offense. They have the #2 run defense & the #17 pass defense … #5 defense overall. Our Bucs #3 ranked offense hasn’t done very well against Top-5 defenses (Broncos & Lions). This is a chance to show that we can hang with the big boys.

Bucs’ defense is a whole nuther matter. We’re light in the interior DLine as it is, but with Gaines out we’re considerably lighter. Without a decent interior push, our edges don’t seem to do very well pressuring the QB. And without pressure, Mahomes can do some real damage. I imagine that Hayes & Britt will be starting. Can see Patrick licking his lips now in anticipation.

  3. Chef Baker Says:

I’m going to be in the minority here and say yes. Any given Sunday/Monday. Go Bucs

  4. Permanently Moderated Says:

Near zero chance with the current defense.

  5. Bucnjim Says:

Well from a bettors standpoint, I’d be taking the Bucs +9. I see the Chiefs looking past the Bucs especially with the Broncos coming in next week. They don’t have the offensive line they’ve had in the past and their point total is in the mid 20’s. Very conservative compared to the KC we are used to probably because of the shut down defense. The Bucs need this game way more than they do so it should be close and come down to the end.

  6. LVMYBUCS Says:

Will the Bucs beat themselves is more like it!

  7. JustOneGame Says:

The offense will play admirably, the Defense will look lost and confused. It’ll get embarrassing and we’ll hear the same f’ing excuses. Chiefs win 34-17

  8. First Name Greatest Says:

    Chiefs/Refs 36
    Bucs 24

  9. Buchen61 Says:

The bucs defense will make Patrick Mahomes look like Patrick Mahomes

  10. First Name Greatest Says:

Predicting the postgame Todd Blows comments

“Our communication in the secondary has got to get better. The guys are just missing their keys”

  11. BucsFan81 Says:

I think this is going to be a shootout. Still think chiefs win by 7

  12. Buchen61 Says:

And on another note i just dont get the logic of so many here that the loss of Evans and Gidwin mean so little to fhe offense… Completely defies sane logic.

  13. First Name Greatest Says:

Bucs lost Godwin and Evans had 3 turnovers and still scored 26 points against ATL.

This awful football take that you need two pro bowl WR’s to move the ball is laughable. In the modern game to be a great offense you do not need 2 $20 million WR’s if your coordinator is creative

  14. gp Says:

I sincerely hope that none of our players are perusing JBF looking for inspiration today.
If you enter a contest expecting to lose, you most assuredly will.

  15. heyjude Says:

I am going with a close game and the Bucs winning.

  16. Mhystc Says:

Won’t say no, because anything can happen in this league. But I highly doubt it. Defense is terrible, and is lead by the worst defensive scheme coach, named Todd Bowles. Would much rather have Aaron Glenn defense.

  17. adam from ny Says:

yeah but what if we actually win tonight…?

    like “the replacements”…

with keanu reaves, gene hackman and tanner knue 🙂

  18. Kenton Smith Says:

    I’m with heyjude

  19. Knothead71 Says:

I think Bucs win this game. Mayfield has got to limit turnovers and play smart football. I can’t wait to hear Mr. Deckerhoff yell “BUCS WIN! BUCS WIN! BUCS WIN!”

  20. Hodad Says:

Bucs lose, won’t be close. Next month at this time we’ll be talking who’s going to be the new coach, who we gonna draft. Season ended with our inability to beat Atlanta at least once.

  21. Josh Says:

If Patrick Mahomes’ ankle proves to be more injured than initially believed, the dynamic of the game could shift dramatically. Should he exit early in the first quarter to protect his long-term health, the Buccaneers would have the opportunity to capitalize on the Chiefs’ altered game plan. Without Mahomes’ playmaking ability, the Buccaneers’ defense could apply relentless pressure, disrupting the rhythm of Kansas City’s offense.

Meanwhile, Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers would rally together, utilizing their cohesive teamwork to exploit any vulnerabilities. This shift in momentum could transform the game, allowing Tampa Bay to assert their dominance and secure a decisive victory. The absence of Mahomes would change the entire landscape, turning this matchup into a showcase of the Buccaneers’ strength and strategy.

If he plays, they will probably score 80 points. It’s tough to admit, and it hurts a little to say that. I’ve never seen a Buccaneers offense like this paired with such a poor defense—oh wait, I remember the lost decade….

  22. Tye Says:

Looking to Coen and the offense with great confidence and think, YES!
And then I remember Bowels runs the defense and realize, NOT A CHANCE!

  23. Dewey Selmon Says:

    Saints fired Allen

  24. FortMyersDave Says:

Chiefs 38 Bucs 30. Another great Buc offensive output against a good KC D goes for naught as Bowles’ boys on D get boat-raced by Mahomes & Company.

Now that Dennis Allen got launched, Bowles seat is one of the hottest in the NFL along with Eberflus in Chicago and the Jags coach…..

  25. Joseph C Simmons Says:

If this was the Super Bowl, Chiefs run away with it. But this feels like the kind of “trap game” they could lose. That’s what I’m basing my hopes on, anyway.

  26. Joseph C Simmons Says:

I don’t wish any ill on Todd Bowles, but if he does get canned we could do worse than getting Dennis Allen as a DC. His defenses are always stout and he’ll definitely never be offered a head coaching job again so we won’t lose him.

  27. Mike Johnson Says:

Even if KC takes the Bucs lightly, they would still win in the 4th qtr. Our Defense simply cannot stop a parked car. We will play well. But we will lose.

  28. Lokog Says:

This team couldn’t beat off the utep miners

  29. TheScourge Says:

Seven weeks until mathematical elimination….then it gets interesting again.

  30. Thisisouryear!! Says:

My God is saying the defense comes out tough tonight. We went by 14. I missed the pole.

  31. Thisisouryear!! Says:

Dumb voice to text. That was supposed to be my gut.

  32. Curse of Gruden Says:

Bucs’ D will have communication problems – won’t matter how many points we score. Bowles blows on prime time games. Take KC and the over.

  33. BA’s Red Pen Says:

    • Little Confidence

  34. Jeffs grandpa Says:

    Shock the haters

  35. bucsfan951 Says:

Up to this point, the Chiefs have not scored beyond 28 points in a game. Sadly, I think that just might come to an end tonight.

I have zero faith in Todd and his defense. I will gladly let him/them prove me wrong.

  36. Badbucs Says:

Is Todd the good coach some of the site thinks he is or washed up and outdated? We’ll see if the team comes ready to play or if Todd has lost the team. If they come out ready to get beat, it’s the end of Todd. I think they’ll play a respectable game. Not betting the house though. Another beat down on the defense will put Todd on the edge.

  37. bucfansince84 Says:

There are no moral victories in the NFL

    This is the pros.

Win or get fired. It’s the truth

  38. D-Rok Says:

If we play aggressive defense, we will win…assuming the offense can put up at least 24.

  39. GoneGator Says:

    Bucs 31
    Chiefs 21
