Slimy Saints QB Spencer Rattler.
So the slimy Saints announced who will be their starting quarterback for Sunday’s game with the Bucs.
It won’t be Jake Haener, who played for injured Derek Carr on Monday night against the Chiefs. Instead, it will be rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler.
Rattler comes by way of South Carolina through Oklahoma and was a Lincoln Riley quarterback until he had a falling out with Riley.
Rattler was benched in 2021 for Caleb Williams, now the starting quarterback of the Bears.
Every year Rattler was a full-time starter in college he threw for over 3,000 yards. Weird, but Rattler attempted 399 passes each of the last two seasons starting for South Carolina. He had 18 and 19 touchdowns, respectively, in 2022 and 2023.
Sunday not only will be Rattler’s first NFL start, he will throw his very first NFL regular season pass. In the slimy Saints’ worthless preseason games, Rattler was 20-of-38 for 202 yards.
A scrambler, Rattler scored a touchdown and ran for 26 yards in the slimy Saints worthless preseason games.
Joe hates to bring it up, but two of Bucs coach Todd Bowles’ ugliest losses came at the hands of rookie quarterbacks. There was Daniel Jones in 2019 and earlier this season versus Bo Nix.

Dennis Allen who knows the Bucs, knows the history of rookie QBs against the Bucs especially with a mobile QB, hopefully we act like he is a rookie and don’t let him get comfortable and confident

If TB plays soft zone coverage, which he is likely to do Rattler will have a good day. I believe Rattler will, this gonna be a loss for the Bucs.
