Bucs-Ravens Monday Night Game Is Not Sold Out

Lots of unsold tickets are available throughout the stadium tonight and it’s not just stray single seats.
Considering the weather report is excellent and the Ravens and Bucs are good teams with high-octane offenses, it’s safe to assume the sea of available tickets in The Licht House is a byproduct of impact from Hurricanes Milton and Helene.
The destruction runs wide and deep, as many residents of the Tampa Bay area see on a daily basis.
However, the ticket availability could be the high prices for this price-gouge night.
Joe sees unsold $144.00 tickets (plus fees) in the upper deck. Seats upstairs start on the secondary market around $116.00 (plus fees).

Demand for tickets this year has been weak, even before the storms, although I don’t think they help. Not sure what the driving factor has been.

The face value ticket prices for this game are also astronomically high. I think it’s less about the storms and more about the crazy high ticket prices.

I am 76 and saw their first game in 1976 and have had season tickets for 250 games +- . I am going to have to take a nap to make it through the night game.

Not spending all that time and money for a late ass game and to deal with all that traffic. Ill be thoroughly enjoying the game from the comfort of my home. Ill be at the creamsickle game for sure though

If people are really concerned about what colors folks at the stadium wear, there are seats available for purchase to ensure the stadium is red.

With the cost of tickets, parking, dinner, drinks, and 5 hours one way drive time (plus 5 hours+ back ).
I’d have to say that Hooters is the better option for me to watch the game.
I could probably buy a couple rounds for the house and still spend less not counting the drive time

@Bucsalltheway – it’s highly unlikely Max Crosby will go to Bucs.. I’d be ecstatic but in all reality IF he does get traded it will most likely be to the lions. He grew up a lions fan and posted a picture of his return to his high school field on social media and said he’s about to return home to win a ring…. That’s telling.

True – NFL ticket prices keep going up. Plus, you have the cost of parking, food, drinks, souvenirs… If you have a family on a strict budget, it’s a lot of money. It’s also a work and school night.
Helene and Milton did a lot of damage. People are still displaced, loss of food/power/water/phone service, fallen trees and poles, homes lost, excessive damage, clean up for months, renters at a loss, possessions lost, school/work missed, wages lost, and so many other burdens on top of it all.
Several people I know have lost everything. Put’s a lot in perspective. People needing to get different quotes, deal with insurances if they have it, putting their pride aside and asking FEMA and others for assistance, still paying their bills, and so much more while trying to keep afloat.
Doesn’t mean they will miss the game though. Watching or listening to the game can bring happiness to so many, forget about their problems for three hours. And if the Bucs win, that will be even more awesome! Go Bucs!

Having a team that routinely gets trashed at home by good teams is another factor

Cheapest ticket I found on vivid was about 120$ add 30$ to park, and maybe 50$ in food and drink and I’ve spent 200$ one night on myself. I think I need to save that for Christmas for the kids.

I would like to see Buccaneer ownership get ahead of the curve and make ticket prices, at least in the nosebleeds, reasonable. Lost revenue would be less than Jamel Dean’s salary this year. Ditto concession prices. Kudos to Arthur Blank for lowering concession prices at the Benz.

How about adjusting the price to something reasonable?
$115+40 fees +$25 for parking. God forbid you want to eat or drink anything.
Pretty steep for the cheapest seats in the house.

Vivid’s cheapest is $165 right now and but their fees are more than tickmaster.
All sports and events are making it so the average person can go to a couple shows or sporting events a year and that’s it.

$450 is the CHEAPEST I can get 2 tickets and park from ticketmaster, vivid, stubhub, or tickpick. That does not include food or drink.
Not happening. I will be at next weeks though.
Wish I could afford more than 1 -2 games a year, but this administration has made sure that is not possible the last couple of years.

I love the Bucs, perhaps not as much as ORL since he’s been here a lot longer than me, and I doubt I measure up to Rod Munch who is a true football junkie and I say that with respect.
But I’m simply not that much in love to pay those kind of prices…parking?…a beer? We can all stop whining. The NFL ceased to get their major revenue from ticket sales back in the 60’s. It’s only gotten larger. Tickets are just the gravy and they’re free to price them as they please.
I’m free to watch on TV where they’re making their real money anyway. The NFL’s biggest fear is that empty stadiums make for bad TV. They don’t need the $$$ I’m not whining it’s free effing enterprise and they SHOULD be allowed to charge what they want. The other side of Free Enterprise is the consumer and we are just as free to avoid overpriced entertainment. IMHO.

I personally think you’re spot on. Most people avoid Jesus actual teachings in those parables because they’re awfully hard to live up to such high ideals. But I do not disagree.
I’m not about the pile on the Glazers however because with Culverhouse, and carpetbaggers like Stu Sternberg they look like great guys. And in reality they probably are but…money…we all want it but how much? They made an effort so I conclude with the major reason I don’t join in even though I agree with you.

It’s funny. I’m sitting at my desktop commenting on JBF with my headphones on, and Bucs Radio coming in loud and clear. I could get it on the tube as I live in Orlando, but I like the Radio guys much better. Man, I must have gone to dozens of games at Tampa Stadium and RJS, so I can see the action in my head. Glazers could have given the tickets away as a civic gesture to the hurricane disasters here this year. It’s their team, their decision. I just want the Bucs to win. GO BUCS!!

I appreciate the efforts made, though I’m not particularly impressed. I’m in no position to judge, as I’m struggling myself. Just not alot of work right now. If I could make it down there to help with people’s electricity, I would, but finances are tight because of that.
While I acknowledge that they’ve done something, with a net worth of $1.7 billion, they could have considered giving away extra tickets to the community, for example. Ultimately, it’s their money and their team, so they can make whatever decisions they choose.
