Big Day For Vita Vea Against Slimy Saints?

October 12th, 2024

Will Vita Vea celebrate topless on Sunday?

Vita Vea ate Eagle for lunch and dinner two weeks ago. Tomorrow, it appears Vea may have to go to confession after how may abuse an innocent Saint.

There’s a poor man’s Warren Sharp out there, a statistician from Cal-Berkley who also is a handicapper. He goes by the handle “Dr. Bob.” The good doctor posted stats along with some slimy Saints updates that suggest Vea could go bonkers Sunday at Lincoln’s Tomb.

New Orleans starting center Erik McCoy is out and guard Landon Young surrendered 5 pressures last week (2nd-most). … Vita Vea is 19th in pass rushing efficiency and will wreak havoc on the Saints’ interior offensive.

Well, there is another reason Vea could have a monster game. Calijah Kancey is back!

Two dudes are not going to contain both Kancey and Vea, especially if one of those “dudes” is a backup.

So yeah, Joe could see Vea going wild tomorrow.

Two super kool talented Beasts!!! Have Fun Vea n Kancey!!! Go bucs!!!

  3. Saskbucs Says:

I take it Ruiz is still out. What’s the latest on their injuries? Werner? Harris?

  4. JimBobBuc Says:

If I’m the Saints, I’ll start out doubling VV and take my chances with a very rusty Kancey. I don’t see VV having a big game being doubled. Hopefully Kancey will be at full speed, but he’ll be on a play count.

  5. Baking with Coen Says:

I hope Hall gets 2 sacks tomorrow!!!

    LFBake!!!!!!

  6. Cobraboy Says:

    Also, Ruiz is out.

  7. J Says:

I like seeing Vita go all Hulk SMASH. Hall could have another big game too.

  8. J Says:

Agree with Kancey and the rust, but I do recall him looking explosive his first game back last year.

  9. Saskbucs Says:

Kancey shouldn’t need a few games. One thing to miss camp and 4 games as a rookie, another to miss 5 games in year 2 after 15 NFL games and a full offseason program.

I’m not saying he won’t have rust for this game but I think if the calf feels good he will be getting after it sooner than later.

Why is it every time we supposedly have a HUGEEE advantage on this position matchup or that position matchup, we normally fall flat on our face?

  11. Jeff Says:

Don’t get too excited Yucs fans. Bowles will castrate Vea. Keep him out of the game for the Saints winning TD drive. Clueless Todd strikes again!

  12. Drunk Bucs Fan Says:

I’m sitting in the back quietly wondering if Logan Hall is going to make another appearance. If it’s finally happening for him I really like our chances of having a D Line that is so much better than we thought.

  13. Mike Johnson Says:

Me and the Fam Luv big Vita. Just wish he would drop another 25.

  14. Simeon4HOF Says:

So happy Kancey is back .. and atleast Winfield is close

  15. Hodad Says:

Who’s this Kancey everyone’s talking about?

  16. Bucnjim Says:

The Saints will sell out to stop Vea. It’s going to be up to everyone else to apply pressure. He’ll be doubled all game.

  17. Tampabaybucfan Says:

This pic indicates that zvita may be very popular at Mons.

  18. MadMax Says:

Rattler will be a problem…. Ive watched him as a gamecock fan….. Get him Big V

  19. unbelievable Says:

Any word yet if we have any safeties besides Tykee Smith available?

Hoping Vea Hall and Kancey can all feast but deeply worried about the middle being wide open again all game long. I also assume the Saints will run a ton to the outside to take on Diaby and JTS and try avoid Vea.

  20. Pryda…sec147 Says:

    Logan Hall

  21. gp Says:

Kancey, Hall, or JTS will have a strip sack and VV will pick it up and rumble to the goal line with no less than 5 Saints hanging on for dear life, hoping he will trip!

  22. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

    Aints will prolly go
With quick passes and dump offs.
