Tom Brady: Baker Mayfield Deserved His “Pot Of Treasure”

What a happy day it is at the Stadium on Dale Mabry Highway, aka The Licht House.
And it’s been led by a massive bounce back game by Baker Mayfield.
Before the game, Mayfield was hanging on the field with Tom Brady, the legend he replaced.
Brady is in Tampa calling the game for FOX, and he blessed Mayfield before the nation.
“It was a big pot of treasure and very deserving of what he did last year,” Brady said of Mayfield’s contract. “This whole team came together.”
Of course, Brady is all about team dynamics, and he saw how Mayfield responded after big-time adversity last season.

Brady held up a piece of paper with his list of reasons for originally coming to Tampa, around 7:30 to go in the 4th qtr. He rattled off a few reasons, but there was a lot more written on the paper that was too hard to see. Would be fun if someone was able to get a freeze frame on that moment, and zoom in to see all that he had written down.

Tom did a great job announcing the game. Can’t wait for the next time he does. You can tell how much he loves Evans, Godwin, and others.

Game plan much better this week. Broncos game foolishly trying to throw deep against 2 safeties high. Today softened up the defense with short underneath. Offense looked in sync today. Too many dropped passes today is biggest criticism. Liked Coach Bowles blitzing and getting after Hurts.

6 sacks? Lavonte David was on fire! Defense really on fire! Offense included everyone. Baker had a good run and his own Tuddy. Brady called the game–just a pleasure! Proud to be a Buc fan!

Guess this post got derailed by the simple. Too bad.
Yeah, Mayfield is playing the best at the QB position in the league, so far this season.
He had two touchdowns dropped.
Once again, with no running game to support him- he is killing it.
If our line protects him- we will beat any team in the league.
