  1. Leopold Stotch Says:

It’s one thing to be beaten by Payton, the man has had Bowles’s number for years. The problem is the practice comments are absolutely ridiculous.

  2. heyjude Says:

Last Sunday was bad loss, but a wake-up call going forward. That could work in our favor this Sunday. Hoping for a win. Go Bucs!

  3. Defense Rules Says:

JBFers turn out to be a very fickle bunch (much like the rest of humanity?). When we were 2-0 Todd Bowles was riding high in the JBF confidence polls & could do no wrong. But lose 1 game and that same coach becomes dogmeat. Rather predictable actually.

  4. Lakeland Says:

I’m totally confident in Todd Bowles. I have complete confidence in his defense, his system. I love the way he develop the players, put them in a position to succeed.

On the other hand, I’m not as confident in Liam Coen and his system, and his play calling. I understand this is his FIRST time calling plays on the NFL level. Todd Bowles may have to intervene and make some changes to the offense!!

  5. Joe in Michigan Says:

It’s amazing how many Bucs “fans” flipped in a week, I think it was over 80% in the “confident” range last week…I’m okay with Bowles, but what I’m not confident is in making changes when they need to made, and terrible play lingers on for weeks. Examples of this is Darden being a scared return man for way too long, Devin White still starting games after he should’ve been cut, and playing Ryan Neal when the Safeties on the bench were probably better.
We’ll see if Bowles makes some adjustments, such as:
*Bucky Irving over White, for the most part
*Dennis over Britt, for the most part
*An athletic Edge over Anthony Nelson

  6. BucsBeast Says:

I think Bowles is a good coach but Sean Payton OWNS his ass. Bucs need to bring Shaq back ASAP. At least he can provide some pressure. Bowles needs to dial his team in. Every team has injuries. Injuries aren’t an excuse for getting your back blown out. This team needs an identity. As of right now there isn’t 1.

  7. Defense Rules Says:

BucsBeast … Unless I’m mistaken, Miami owns the rights to Shaq since he retired while under contract with them.

Shaq didn’t have a very big impact here in 2023, especially for a player making BIG money. Grand total of 4.5 sacks in 16 games, with 9 QB Hits & 3 TFLs in 652 def snaps. I’d personally rather see our young guns (Diaby & Braswell) get a bunch of snaps. Sooner or later the sacks, etc will come.

  8. Usfbuc Says:

I don’t think the last game was on Todd. These guys are pros and they are out there missing tackles on defense and not executing on offense.

  9. Hodad Says:

The coaching could’ve been better, but at some point the players just have to beat the man in front of him. Was it Bowles fault YaYa, and JTS couldn’t get one sack? Was it his fault our LBs took bad angles allowing TDs? Dennis got lost on the goaline looking for a crossing receiver allowing Nix to walk into the endzone. Dean couldn’t cover, Zyon gives up a big pass on the first play. These aren’t coaching issues, these are player issues. We lauded Licht for such great drafts, but the reality is, this is a weak roster. We banked on players like YaYa, and Mauch to take that step up this season. Looks like they’re taking two staps back.

  10. Lord Corn Says:

Lmao at the emotional fickle fan base we have. They better not play like that again or it’ll be a flip from confidence to hot seat at this rate

  11. HC Grover Says:

Weather may cause some bad practices….good

  12. Hodad Says:

HC, we have the Glazer shed, no excuses.

  13. Ultra ClodHopper Says:

For three seasons every week I have voted higher than “no confidence” we have lost. I planned on keeping doing it but on his podcast Ira guilted me into voting higher. See what you did, Ira!

  14. 813BUCBOI Says:

    still very confident…

    relax folks…

before the season started most of us said we need/should/could be to 3-0 or 2-1 by this point….

sky aint falling just yet lol

    GO BUCS!!!!

  15. First Name Greatest Says:

If you voted with any confidence, I would like to know what you are confident in?

    The defense?

    Game/clock management?

    Offense?

    Bowles Bucs HC Record
    19-18

  16. Obvious Says:

This IS on coaching! Say whatever makes you feel better but the results ARE CLEAR…

The ENTIRE TEAM collapsed! And when it’s on that scale…..

  17. Kenton Smith Says:

Including playoffs the Bucs have had 22 games since 2023 season began. 4 – 7 to begin and 8 – 3 since. That’s who we are currently. I feel like we have the horses to finish strong. No Vita or Luke really hurt our lines last week. The only real concern I have is when are Liam and Baker going to get on the same page here and make this offense hum. Let’s get Bucky get some more touches. Get Winfield and Kancy back. Wish we had more line depth but wishes are just that. We’ll get better. And we’ll lose some more games this year. But not many.

  18. Bucswin! Says:

They were out coached and out played. Months of practicing in extreme heat drains the body. Not an advantage. Just a matter of time. Happened last year. Been happening for decades. Football follies anyone? But hey we have an ac shed let’s practice in the heat so we can play in the heat drained. Nice. 2-1 not bad, next few games will tell. Go BUCS!

  19. John Sinclear Says:

    @Joe in Michigan

It was a little over 95% last week and the week before. Our fans are loyal, but only on a week to week basis. One loss and it’s “Abandon Ship” !!

  20. Joe in Michigan Says:

John Sinclear: I knew it was high, didn’t know it was that high. Thanks.

  21. heyjude Says:

    Still optimistic, around 89%.

  22. Nybucsfan Says:

I have always thought Bowles stinks. He is a average at best.

  23. Dave Pear Says:

Anyone having any confidence in a losing coach with two franchises who instills false hope at the beginning of seasons before the rest of the league gets to work and leaves him in the dust, is simply a blind homer.

If the Bucs had followed their miracle win against the Lions with a win against the pathetic Donkeys and their horrible rookie QB, I’d be on his bandwagon. But he did what I expected — he forgot his Depends and soiled the bed.

Intrigued as to who Jason hires next.

    But, Todd is great.

  24. Daniel Z Says:

Defense Rules, Shaq wasn’t up to his standard last year, but I think a lot of that had to do with his daughter’s tragic death and his mid-2022 Achilles injury. Is it better to play the young guys? Maybe, but not if we can’t generate any pressure and let our secondary get picked apart by rookie QBs.
