One of the stupidest NFL rules says not every player on the 53-man roster gets to play on game day.
As a result, some players are ruled inactive 90 minutes prior to a game.
Today’s inactive Buccaneers are cornerback Tyrek Funderburk, safety Kaevon Merriweather, edge rusher José Ramirez, newcomer guard/tackle Royce Newman, rookie tight end Devin Culp and injured defensive linemen Logan Hall and Calijah Kancey.

Curt should have 4 FOUR turnovers today. Not counting another that was a Pick that was taken away because of DPOI. Almost FIVE turnover buy TheWonderCurt

53 man roster. Thought for sure that Funderburk and Ramirez may play today. And not to know until 90 minutes before the game seems flawed.

Teams so far seem to be having some good returns on kickoffs … so for the Bucs, who seemingly always suck on special teams, here’s some advice, just kick the ball through the endzone.

I had the Falcons losing today, wouldn’t get too excited about it, it’s week 1 and the Steelers are a good team while the Falcons are a totally new team that didn’t play anyone all preseason.
Watching all the games via Redzone there’s a ton of bad play today, in particular in the first half. Seems like things are evening out a bit as we get to the end of the games.

Rigged vs Fixed big difference.
Fixed would mean a certain outcome was certain.
Rigged would mean gamblers with inside information have an edge.
Two different things IMHO.

I will say the 1st half of the games today were a disaster for the most part, passing, overall seems down as well.
I hope Baker comes out looking sharp, but wouldn’t panic if he doesn’t as it seems to be a trend with the lack of a real preseason.

Stan – Steelers are a good team – Falcons are a totally new team, and as stated, didn’t play anyone in the preseason. No idea why they were the favorites.
I think the Falcons are going to be good, but it will take a few weeks to get going. People celebrating the Falcons week 1 loss like the Bucs won the SB are insane, apparently their first time watching football.
