More Than 200 Upper Deck/Cheap Seats Tickets Available

September 1st, 2024

One week from Bucs opening day against the Washington Commandoes and tickets are available to see the game live at The Licht House.

Kickoff is at 4:25 p.m and Joe just got an email from the Bucs marketing spammers promoting tickets for the game at TicketMaster.

More than 200 seats are available in the upper deck (300 level) ranging in price from $77.00 to $113.00 as of this typing, plus the evil fees.

Plenty of seats are for sale on the 100 and 200 levels, as well.

Joe hopes the Bucs find their way to a sellout. That would be a nice mini-tribute to Tampa Bay reaching the divisional round of the playoffs last season.

    I rather watch TV.

  2. Allen Lofton Says:

    Agree with HC Grover

  3. Beeej Says:

I remember the old stadium, in in the ’80s. You could get an end zone for either $5 or $10

  4. MadMax Says:

Next year im going to make a week of it, cap it off with a Bucs game….cant do it this year, not enough funds. But ive been to tampa and st pete beach a few times when i stayed in sarasota for a week….i’ll figure my way around and get some Bucs ball….I want to be near the pirate ship…in it if possible lol

  5. BA’s Red Pen Says:

My man, you don’t want to be near the pirate ship, trust me.

  6. Beeej Says:

I elected to buy a bottle of Johnnie Walker black, there goes 80 bucks

  7. Koala Says:

Gonna be there, flying down Saturday.

  8. NJbucs23 Says:

I’ll be there. My yearly opening day game in Tampa.

    The heat !

  9. SenileSenior Says:

Upper deck seats are not that bad if you get a good angle. You can see the whole field. Better view than many of the camera shots on tv. I love to be in the crowd. Love sitting on my couch too.

    Go Bucs!

  10. Booger Says:

$37-$38 on StubHub. $88 each for 2-tickets in Section 123 Row Y behind the goal posts in the endzone & $116 for 126 Row AA. They usually drop drastically before kick-off… I saw 40yd-line lowers for $24 ea right before kickoff last season versus the Panthers!!!!

  11. aleyz2020 Says:

I remember the “good ole days” when local radio stations would give away some tickets. Billionaires these days are afraid to part with a few bucks during a bad economy. I’m sure the box seats are all taken.

  12. Rod Munch Says:

I’d never ever attend a game again sitting up in the peasant seating – just the caliber of people there is, depressing. Nah, I’ll stick to watching games in my theater room, or more likely, since these games don’t mean much, just at my computer so I can give my riveting play by play in the comments here that so many people rely on.

  13. Booger Says:

The Bucs FO should try to PACK the place and offer $10 chitty tickets like the Rays try to do, (&/or) just give ‘em away to underserved disadvantaged local youths in the area… I mean, the Bucs ARE such a ‘virtuous’ franchise, right!? Maybe not for the very first game of the year, but if things and attendance starts going south during the year, then why not… It sure beats having to look at an half-empty stadium on tv. Especially, when you KNOW there will be thousands among THOUSANDS of empty seats. The Magic & the Mavs used to do that (I’m sure prob still do), & in doing so, building and creating a young, loyal fan base for the years and decades to come. Tampa Bay is still a fairly young/new NFL franchise and growing metro (with tons of transplants, who are fans of other teams).

  14. Fernando Says:

My bro got tickets for Dec vs Raiders love cold weather
TV will be good for September

What are you talking about? This is the best economy ever in American history. I know that is true since I saw it in a commercial.

  16. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Let’s not disrespect WTF…..,they are the Redskins

  17. Booger Says:

You couldn’t GIVE me a ticket for free, to have to sit out there in this HEAT. 💯. No Way. No How.

  18. SlyPirate Says:

Poor attendance is an ongoing theme with Tampa since last 90’s.

Literally the worst in the NFL. It’s embarrassing for y’all.

MOVE TO OREGON! We go to every sporting event. Go to a Portland Timbers game or Oregon Ducks game. They are packed and the fans are nuts! There is a waiting list for good season tickets. Florida doesn’t deserve three teams. Bucs fans prove that every year.

  19. Mike C Says:

Effing cry babies EVERY time a article comes out about going to the game… smh, GOOD stay your lame @$$ at home, we don’t need that lame duck energy Stinking up the place. I will be at every home game screaming my head off for the defense. Sitting at home watching the TV is just as memorable and exciting as being there…… D bags.

  20. Mike C Says:

Yeah move to Portland …. gtfoh

  21. Mike C Says:

Rod, you are so awesome, you should never sit with the common folk…… how big of a D bag are you…… ohhhh wait, just have to look at a game day thread to see it on clear display.

  22. Rusty Says:

I’d rather stay home and grill. Was a season ticket holder for many years. I love my Bucs but it takes up my whole day going to the game.

  23. 74 Bucs Fan Says:

    Rod on the sauce again.

And I’ll pass on Portland Sly. Native Tampanian or Tampon for 54 years. There is a lot to here – and not bad listening to Deckerhoff while landing a 40” snook. You should try if some time. Get out of the rain and come get some sunshine. And if you don’t know Dekerhoff or what a snook is, time for an education.

Rod, you are a real shXXt head for that post! I’m with you Mike!

    It’s time to fire-up “#TEAMPOSITIVE!”
    Can’t wait…..

  26. ChiBuc Says:

Wow, the armchair fandom sure is supportive. Get a big hat, hydrate, and venture into the real world…or move to Portland so you don’t sweat.. Take the grandkids, grow some real fans, make a memory. Lame old man excuses

    Pot meet kettle

And I thought you were ‘happy’

  29. Larrd Says:

My son stepped on a homeless guy in Portland when we visited in July. He had his arm hanging outside his sleeping bag. He didn’t seem to notice because of the fentanyl I guess.

Other than that we loved it. Beautiful city!

Rod would run his mouth up there and get his ass kicked 🤣.
    Stay home Rod!!

  31. Mike S Says:

I thought Shake and Bake put butts in the seats?

    I guess not.

Years ago when I was young and broke I used to buy the nose bleeds – sit up there for a whole of 10 mins and then go down to the patio under the pirate ship rest of the game.

Get snokered Florida Man style. It’s basically a patio/tiki bar in a football stadium.

  32. garro Says:

Living 10,000 miles away and every year at this time I wish I could get one of those cheap seats Joe. I would proudly wear my Alstott jersey! Unlike all of those imposter transplants.

For those real Bucs fans still in the area snatch up a ticket or three and enjoy!

    Go Bucs!

  33. BA’s Red Pen Says:

Same fat drunk idiots with the same fat drunk idiot complaints , “I can’t afford to drink 14 beers and eat 3 dogs and nachos!”

“Same fat drunk idiots with the same fat drunk idiot complaints , “I can’t afford to drink 14 beers and eat 3 dogs and nachos!”
Waah effen waaaah” THANK YOU BA! Like eat and drink before you go in and have one or two beers at the game like a normal person ffs. People act like beer and food at ANY event isn’t a similar price, pretty sure beer is more expensive at a bolts game.

  35. orlbucfan Says:

Been to plenty of games at Tampa Stadium and RJS. I’ve sat all over the place. Not no more as the heat and humidity plus storms are too much now. I’ll have Bucs Radio on and the boob tube muted. Time delay is a b@tch, but I’m used to it. Come on Bucs!!

  36. TBSwarm Says:

For $100, I get mid field seats in a section 6 rows up from the field and it includes unlimited beer/wine at the Orlando City soccer games. It not the NFL, but that’s way more affordable and a much better value than some nose bleed seats. I’ll goto a City Game and watch the Bucs on TV.

  37. Mike Johnson Says:

I’m not in the Fl area. But I will be kicking back with my 80 incher, surround sound, snacks..and..one or two..OK maybe 4 libations courtesy of the NFL ticket.
Give’em a taste of the cold steel Bucs!

    Soccer?!?! LOLOLOLOL!!!!

I bet you drive a Miata as well.

OK sweetheart, you go and enjoy your soccer game.

  39. Rod Munch Says:

    I’ll tell you a true story…

About 10 years ago or so, me and my girlfriend were going to a bunch of Lightning games – and I of course, as a fancy man, was always getting good seats, either in the club section or at least near the ice.

Well, my girlfriend said she wanted to go to a game at the last minute, and I looked and the only thing available were some seats in the upper deck. She had never been to a sporting event and had to sit in the cheap seats, and she said lets go. I tried to warn her that it’s no the same, it’s a different class of people and the games aren’t nearly as fun – but she acted like you guys and said, no, that’s not true. So I said, OK, we’ll go – but you’ve been warned.

So we get to the game, and sure enough, we’ve got all the trash around us. Some idiot, the entire game, keeps yelling the exact same thing over and over again. Some other idiot sitting next to us is literally yelling about stuff that’s not even related to the game. The view sucked, you couldn’t really hear anything, overall it was exactly how I remembered it when I was poor and had to sit in the cheap seats at Bucs games, Lightning games, Storm games, etc. Anywho, it completely killed her enthusiasm for the game and she never again asked to go to a game.

That’s what just one game in the cheap seats can do to you.

  41. Alanbucsfan Says:

I went to a Dallas Mavericks game (Don Nelson era) in the then new American Airlines Arena in Dallas over 20 years ago and sat in the nosebleed section behind the baseline, and Mark Cuban and his media assistant sat in the row in front of us- and Cuban was screaming at the refs just like he does from his front row seats courtside.
You never know who you’ll meet in the cheap seats.
