Logan Hall Is Only Buccaneer Ruled Out For Sunday

September 6th, 2024

Out.

The headline says it all. Third-year Bucs defensive lineman Logan Hall, a starter most of last year, won’t play in the season opener Sunday because of a bad foot.

Today, head coach Todd Bowles said it’s unclear when Hall will return as his rehab has been slow.

Bring on Will Gholston and Greg Gaines! Joe is not concerned.

Hall is one of the players I was hoping would emerge and be a steady contributor. The best ability is availability.

  2. Dave Pear Says:

No need to rush him back. Maybe IR for the season would be a good idea.

Gholston is ready. He, Vita and Kancey are gonna tie up O-lines and give Yaya and Nellie open lanes to torture QBs. Do it fast, we all know someone is going to be running wide open in an uncovered zone.

  3. BucU Says:

Not a good way at all to start a “prove it” year for him.

  4. WiseCrack Says:

Not all undrafted free agents pan out.
Toss him aside and move on.
    Give him the Trask Treatment.

    Bruh

  6. Buc4evr Says:

Yeah WiskCrack, but as a second round pick he should have had more than half a sack last year. He will be gone after this season. Might as well put him on IR and move someone else up from the practice squad.

  7. Hearty Dikerson Says:

This guy continues to disappoint. He’s not fast or strong. No tenacity or leadership qualities. Can’t take in double teams and can’t rush the passer. It’s almost impressive how he’s bamboozled this team into a starting gig.

  8. Dave Pear Says:

Hearty – he did fall down accidentally in the right place twice last season, as he happened to fall on the football instead of a teammate’s leg or something.

But if you watch the replay, he wasn’t diving for the ball, he just lost his footing.

  9. Jack Burton Mercer Says:

One could say that he has yet to really play in a game for the Buccaneers.

  10. Pewter Power Says:

Oh no Logan hall our home grown starting talent is out what ever will we do. Could we possibly win this game now?

  11. infomeplease Says:

    No great loss.

  12. infomeplease Says:

    Mike Green from practice squad?

  13. HC Grover Says:

GET A GEMINI SPACE CAPSULE AND LAUNCH HIM WITH PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE IN TO PERMANENT ORBIT.

  14. A Bucs Fan Says:

Hopefully CJ Brewer gets the call up and shows out. Not sure that Stille would be ready after only 3 days in Tampa Bay.

  15. heyjude Says:

So many questions about his foot problem, and now hearing the rehab is slow. Feel bad for him being injured. Agree with Dave, he may end up going on IR.

  16. RagingBrisket Says:

    Who?

  17. Simeon4HOF Says:

Either him or JTS ruled out are the 2 starters that are the least of our concerns any given Sunday

So basically his only contribution if basically ending the identity of our offensive line and maybe the best center in the NFL. Big doughy sloth
