Draw the line at grits?!? Tom McEwen is rolling over in his grave right now over there Sage!

Baker definitely has found a home with the Bucs. We are so lucky to have him. Very optimist we will win on Sunday. Absolutely agree, Bowles is very hyper-focused. Super Bowl bound. Go Bucs!

  3. BillyBucco Says:

One thing you guys aren’t considering that I read on a a Denver site is how the Broncos do in the SE with early games. The got beat by 50 down in Miami last year. There is ZERO humidity in Denver. You get a nose bleed getting off the plane there. They are gonna be sweating so bad they will need diapers getting off the plane.
I got the Bucs winning by 20. At Least.

  4. Citrus County Says:

Good try Joe but Ira wouldn’t touch the hot potato. I have lost all respect for him. He’s just “one of the masses”.

  5. BillyBucco Says:

I got 2 words for Denver. Baby Powder.
Nix might be the first QB on the injury report for chaffed balls next week.

  6. Citrus County Says:

Ira polished BA’s apple and Arthur Blanks apple. He acknowledges the bad 2022 season. Why was the 2022 season so bad? TB12 was the root cause. TB blew up plays that may have been successful and may have led to more wins. He blew up those plays out of spite. It’s out there now. TB had caused a stressful environment throughout the entire team. For a Tampa sports reporter with Ira’s resume to avoid and ignore such a topic with all the supporting evidence is shameful. I will no longer listen to the Ira Kauffman (2f’s) podcast.

    Grits in Brooklyn
Based on the search results, here are some notable locations serving grits in Brooklyn:

Peaches HotHouse: While not exclusively a grits spot, Peaches HotHouse offers a Southern-inspired brunch menu, including grits. Address: 170 Smith St, Brooklyn, NY 11201
Soco: Another brunch spot with a Southern flair, Soco serves grits as part of their menu. Address: 138 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11201
Mbali: This Caribbean-inspired restaurant offers a brunch menu featuring grits, described as “very well seasoned” by a reviewer. Address: 345 Smith St, Brooklyn, NY 11231
Pure Grit BBQ (mentioned in a review snippet): Although primarily a vegan BBQ joint, Pure Grit BBQ offers grits as part of their menu. Address: 36 Lexington Ave, New York City, NY 10010-3609 (technically in Manhattan, but close to Brooklyn)

I think if you asked JBF followers from across all spectrums most if not all would agree. Everyone should be held to account for their actions. For all the JBF followers that are employees, if asked, they would likely tell you that they do their jobs as best they can with their best effort. The self-employed followers would likely say the same. Employers demand that from their hires. The self-employed don’t remain that way without giving their best effort. When hard working folks pay hundreds of dollars to watch and support the Bucs and the starting QB making tens of millions dollars throws ego driven temper tantrums and with malice fails to complete or destroys plays, HE SHOULD BE HELD TO ACCOUNT !

  9. Citrus County Says:

When TB was throwing tablets aka destroying team property, the announcers would say something to the effect “he’s so passionate about the game” or “he hates losing”. It was a bad look. It didn’t serve him or the team well. It was like the red faced screaming kid in the shopping cart and mommy couldn’t care less.

  10. Citrus County Says:

    Just the facts:
    1) Baker makes an appearance on a seemingly obscure podcast with someone with whom he has a connection and quite possibly trusts. That podcaster doesn’t seem to be part of mainstream sports media.
    2) That podcaster asked a question that would appear to provoke gossip.
    3) Baker is no fool.
    4) Baker answers with a remarkable statement but does not seem to want to elaborate. (based on my reading of Joe’s article)
    5) The podcaster apparently made no effort to follow up. Why is that ?
    6) Realistically, how could that have happened ? It doesn’t seem likely that Baker would make a statement such as that without approval.
    7) 1 thru 6 indicate to me that someone with authority gave Baker permission to plant and answer the question but to go no further.
    8) Someone with enough authority wants the statement to be explored.
    9) I may be right, I may be wrong, but the facts are the facts.
    10) Don’t be a poltroon Ira, follow up on it.
    11) If I’m right someone gets to be a hero.

  11. Citrus County Says:

I stand absolutely convinced that Baker did not make that statement on his own. His career has suffered turmoil and controversy since the start. He now has the home that he needs and wants. He is beloved within the organization and community. His career has been revitalized.

Do you think he would jeopardize it all by making gossip and flammable statements ? I Don’t.

    f.l.a.m.m.a.b.l.e. got me this time

  13. Joe Says:

Pure Grit BBQ (mentioned in a review snippet): Although primarily a vegan BBQ

What the hell is “vegan BBQ?”

  14. Joe Says:

So Tom Brady wanted to dirt Byron Leftwich plays. Big deal! Who do you trust? The greatest who ever played the game who has seven rings? Or a nitwit who can’t find a job in football?

    Advantage: Brady.

  15. Citrus County Says:

You got me, I wondered if you would pick up on that. I guess it’s just artificial intelligence. Maybe the Brooklyn Bulldog would know.

  16. TykeeBucs Says:

Vegan barbecue? Grilled veggies on a skewer dripping with sauce. Tofu/pineapple skewers. So many great options.

  17. Citrus County Says:

AH HA ! I’ve said all along that BA and BL might have tried to make Brady look bad and seek revenge on the Glazers. Now we have this new narrative that Brady ditched plays. I think someone wants somebody to dig deep so the truth can finally come out. Enough time has passed and the team is doing well so old controversy will only hurt those from the past. There was a lot of damage done. BA got paid his full contract (it seems) and suffered no consequences (apparently). BL just disappeared. Now is the time for the truth to get out. It will only hurt the perpetrators not the Glazers or the team.

  18. Citrus County Says:

The triumvirate of BA and BL and TB seems to me to have been as dysfunctional and ego driven as it gets. It all began when TB didn’t retire after the SB so BA could go get Baker Mayfield, in my opinion.

  19. Citrus County Says:

Just to be clear, I was a big TB12 fan and was thrilled to get him here. Having been a Bucs fan since 1976 and with the organization finally getting to the point of success and stability that many of us never thought it would, I would like to see this millstone removed from the organization’s neck. A clean slate would be nice. A super bowl win without the c.a.t.a.l.y.s.t. of a hired g.u.n. is what this team needs and deserves. I believe that is very possible. A boat parade without prima donnas, a total team win is what the fans deserve. Let the light of victory shine on the whole team, coaches, and front office not imported saviors.

  20. Citrus County Says:

Just so I can get this said while being moderated, I was a big fan of TB12. I was thrilled when the Bucs signed him. I thought he got a raw deal by the Pats. I was also very disappointed by some of his actions.

  21. Citrus County Says:

Maybe some of the reasoning for the truth to get out is this; Todd Bowles suffered greatly by it all. I was a critic myself. It is time for his great character through it all to be shown. Todd and Jason were put in terrible positions. The Glazers were hampered and had to remain above the fray. The Glazers had endured the Gruden idignities. I think a little righteous retribution is in order.

  22. Citrus County Says:

Joe Says; So Tom Brady wanted to dirt Byron Leftwich plays. Big deal! Who do you trust? The greatest who ever played the game who has seven rings? Or a nitwit who can’t find a job in football?
    ^^^^^
Regardless if it was a good play or not, it was a wasted play. TB12 was being set up. BA and BL knew TB well enough to know the reaction they would get from him. TB’s ego was too big to just try to make the play as called by the OC. That would have been best for the team. All three of them are at fault.

How about thanking your lucky stars that Arians and Brady came here and won a Super Bowl (damn near got to a second). Some appreciation for making the franchise relevant might be in order, instead of whining about perhaps Brady ditching a few plays from dopey Leftwich he knew wouldn’t work. You really think it was better Brady run a bad play he believed might be picked, seriously? You are acting like Brady was throwing games. smh

  24. Citrus County Says:

There’s no whining in Citrus County Joe. I have been making a case, laying out the facts. I get most of my facts from you. I make my observations from what my eyes see and my ears hear. The case that I have been making for a long time has been there for you to read in the comments. If you have a problem with my facts then dispute them and prove me wrong. If you think my theory is incorrect then prove me wrong.

  25. Citrus County Says:

I’m shaking my head as well. Over the last year and a half I would regularly read an article that supports the statements I made. Many times over your work supported my case. Baker Mayfield just made a statement that supports my theories. Why are you so afraid of the truth ?

  26. Fred Says:

Dean should be benched. He ALWAYS gives up a long play, obviously doesn’t like to block, he should be ashamed.
