Bucs-Eagles Ticket Prices Falling

So Sunday’s Eagles-Bucs game was one of the price-gouge games on the Tampa Bay home schedule.
Some Bucs games are priced higher than others when you’re buying single-game tickets. Team Glazer assesses demand and prices accordingly. It’s the American way.
So the popular Eagles drew higher ticket prices than other games.
The game is not sold out and Joe sees prices now below face value on the secondary market.
Perhaps it’s because of the hurricane, which hopefully will lead to canceled flights for legions of Philly fans heading to Tampa. Also, too many locals sadly are trying to save money now after dealing with varying degrees of storm damage. Joe is in that boat.
Regardless, Joe is seeing Bucs-Eagles tickets that were $96 plus fees and tax now selling for $60 on secondary ticket markets. Considering the weather forecast for Sunday’s game is steamy with a high chance of rain, Joe thinks prices are likely to keep dropping.

This team already lost me $200 bucks when they came out flat against the broncos. You can’t be serious expecting fans to go to these games after seeing how we looked in Week 3
Bucs have a lot of fans scattered that aren’t even in Florida, imagine making a trip to see the Bucs play and they play like they did last week.

The NFL Largely benefits from the fact that it is by far far farrrrrrrr and away the sport that is gambled on the most. Guys like Florio can puff their chest out about ratings and all but its buoyed by gambling and yet everyone refuses to acknowledge that its to turned in to a complete dog shi product compared to 20 years ago. 2 million people changed the channel to watch a womans basketball player last week. Not an insignifcant number. Keep over legislating the game with penalties, lack of practice, giving the players more power and Mark Cuban will eventually be right

I’m with Jarrett – after that effort vs the Broncos, I’m tempted to not spend my time, much less my money, if that kind of showing is a possibility.

They should target a new audience to help grow the sport towards future season ticket holder and generational memory seekers.
Provide them free tickets from the ones that don’t sell, throw in a food and drink coupon.
Target all the new people in town, the ones that don’t understand football, are presumably poor cause they haven’t bought tickets and gear (yet), or even food for themselves and family. They don’t, won’t or can’t ever get a blue color job.
Although the media relations team will need to be flexible however, more than likely they don’t speak English.
BUT the team will get a lot of real good press because they would really be helping out the community. Kinda like when they took Chucky out of that TAINTED Ring of Honor.

Only an idiot that knows nothing about this team would bet against the Sean Payton led Broncos.
And the Glazers could drop prices to $20 for “premium” seats and I’d still stay home.
