Adam Schefter: Rachaad White And Bucky Irving Will Play Today

September 29th, 2024

“Got it from a source, Mayfield.”

Good news from uber NFL insider Adam Schefter of BSPN. Both Rachaad White, who was added to the injury report Saturday, and Bucky Irving, who has been nursing a hamstring, will play against the Eagles.

Schefter posted this information on Twitter, currently known as X, after midnight. White was added to the injury report with an illness that Schefter reported as food poisoning.

So you can relax, Bucs fans. It looks like the Bucs won’t have to lean on only Sean Tucker against the Eagles at 1 p.m.

Now if Skule can block anybody we are good to go. Just listened to a PhillyMike podcast and he seems to think the Eagles will still win because Lane Johnson is gonna play. Parris Campbell and Johnny Wilson outside with Jahan Dotson in the slot with Goddard and Barkley. I’m thinking timing is a big deal in the NFL and just don’t see it, but who knows because Dean is still gonna give 22 yds to Johnny Wilson who runs like a 4.7.

  2. Dave Pear Says:

Give Bucky the bulk of the carries. Run left for crusts’ sake.

The head coach gets to make decisions like, who starts, who else could play RT, and can also as head coach require extra protection be out in for his QB to eyeball Mike deep a few times.

He’s a great head coach. Watch what he does.

  3. Lt. Dan Says:

    Two observations about this post.

    1) I was hoping the Bucs would lean on Sean Tucker somewhat today. Haven’t wee seen enough of “glorified third down back” Rachaad White? We know what he can’t do.

    2) I had food poisoning before. Curled up in a ball on the floor for three straight days.

  4. Bucnut Says:

This season is about to go downhill very quickly. I could see 2-8, 3-7 through 10 games.

  5. LakelandBuc Says:

Get Rachaad White in space and let him do his thing!!

  6. Buc2Blame Says:

Two turnovers this game, one interception one sack fumble he will be sacked four times

  7. LakelandBuc Says:

It seems like Rachaad White and Jason Skule are the scapegoats of Bucs fans. It takes a team to win, and a team to lose.

    With that said
    Bucs 24, Philly 17

  8. Buc4evr Says:

Agree with Dave Pear, there is absolutely nothing on the right side of the line. Hope Baker has been practicing rollout and sprint out drills and misdirection plays. Bucky is the only choice on running plays, White is too slow for a nonexistent O line.

  9. Erik w/ UniqueModernArt.com Says:

I never wish injury upon anyone, but I was kinda hoping R white would be out at least this one game, so we could see what our 2-headed monster of Bucky & Tucker could do for a whole game.

  10. SenileSenior Says:

If White can play his food poisoning must have been mild. Saps everything out of you, otherwise.

I am curious about Tucker too. A change might just spark our offense.

    Go Bucs! Just win!!

  11. Pewter Power Says:

Geez man just because they start the game doesn’t mean they’ll finish. They aren’t at full strength so we should see tuck

  12. Bucfan1988 Says:

    Good news this morning!!

Lane Johnson, eagles RT, is OUT!!
He did not pass concussion protocol.

    Just reported by Adam Schefter.

It’s going to be the battle of the back up right tackles today!!

  13. Bucfan1988 Says:

    Fred Johnson is Lane’s backup.
    No relation.,,

  14. Bucs 95 Says:

    Bench white bring on bucky

  15. Badbucs Says:

No reason not to give White a break. He’s there if you need him.
    Play the other guys.
    1) we see what we have in them
    2) we see if White is a problem
    Win. Win.

  16. heyjude Says:

Happy they will both play. Let White have a chance. I am not counting him out yet.
