Report: Tests On Payne Durham Come Back Clean

August 14th, 2024

Just an ouchie.

The Bucs are keeping the injury wasp away, though the injury bug has stung a few times already.

Per J.C. Allen of SI.com, tests done today on Bucs backup tight end Payne Durham concerning the severity of his knee injury have come up negative. So Durham is day-to-day, per Allen, and should be “fine.”

Joe was shook seeing Calijah Kancey on floppy hat patrol in Jacksonville this morning. Bucs coach Todd Bowles wouldn’t say what’s wrong with Kancey.

Since the regular season has not kicked off, teams are not obligated to disclose injuries.

I’m staying up to see the practice notes.

  2. ATLBUC Says:

If I knew who you were I wouldn’t even comment on your posts?

  3. RagingBrisket Says:

Disappointed to see Falcons land Judon instead of us. Licht fail

    Farging outstanding news.

Ready for the worthless preseason game, where they can actually tackle to the ground and stuff. But, worthless for sure. Even though Todd highlights significant value in his use of them.

And sometimes like against the Bengals, we read they are glorious.

Who wants a 270 lb linebacker with a shoulder injury?

  6. ATLBUC Says:

lol! I don’t know why you don’t like me but the only reason I can think of is that I’m not a Baker Mayfield fan. But when you block my comments you’re showing your lack of character and depriving your readers of great content. So go ahead and cut off your nose to spite your face! 🤣🤣🤣

  7. Joe Says:

But when you block my comments

Joe blocks some comments. Joe’s filters block some, too. Sometimes commenters make mistakes.–Joe

  8. ATLBUC Says:

I apologize. They disappeared and I thought they were blocked. Please forgive me

On the bright side we have some good UFC fights Saturday night. The Jaguars are going to put the hurt on the AFC this season. They’re a chippy team and Bowles may be playing it a little safe with Kancey, maybe others. Treavor Lawrence hasn’t peaked yet, but when he does he’s going to lay waste. Dude’s a baller.

  10. J Says:

I get they don’t have to disclose any injuries, but when’s the last time that happened and it wasn’t some kind of an issue? They at least gave info on Payne.

  11. Ugo Says:

ATLBUCS no one likes you because of your stupid takes and the fact you cry wolf all the time for no reason. Case and point your above comments about being blocked when you comments are in fact very visible. This isn’t the first time you do this either, you just like poking people and then playing victim.

  12. Billyboy Says:

    Injuries this early weird

  13. Jake been there since the beginning Says:

Greatfull, I’m really happy Payne is alright. The end of last season he started getting things together and made a few nice catches. We need him and he’s looking good in what he’s doing so far this camp, and last week. He was trying to be like Gronk his last season in college, a little. If he can just keep things going. Let’s Go Bucs!!!!
