“I Don’t Want Nobody That’s Trying To Make The Team”

Bucs training camp opens this morning at 8:30 am. That means a majority of players reported for duty yesterday a had physicals and meetings.
And it also means Todd Bowles made a speech.
The Buccaneers shared some of Bowles’ welcome-back words on their official YouTube channel.
Joe especially enjoyed one take from Bowles.
“I don’t want nobody that’s trying to make the team,” Bowles said.
“Make the team just means you’re trying to get over. I’d rather f**k’n cut you and have somebody who’s busting their ass then for you to just make the team. You gotta want to be something on this team. You gotta want to be something on this team. And that’s what the f**k I’m looking for. If we can get that done, we’re going to have a hell of a team.”
Great concept. Don’t have a mindset that you’re fighting for a roster spot or a starting job; focus daily on being a game-changing player and what it takes to get there. Big difference.
As Bowles said multiple times, the Bucs have what they need to be a Super Bowl contender — talent, experience and continuity. Now they have to want it badly enough to grind every day and every play, and Bowles stressed helping teammates at every possible turn.

So Bowles wants maximum effort for the team. If anyone in the front office or coaching staff think Gregory would give that effort, they’re nuts. Why is it taking so long to cut him ? Are Bowles and Licht so down on their pass rushers that they are willing to put up with Gregory’s s… ? This is not a good look and is not the message they should be sending to the team. This is a very strange and disturbing situation.

Under the ADA, anxiety disorders receive the same protection as any other disability.
Gregory is in a suit with the NFL to get money taken from him in fines over his treatment for Anxiety.
Bucs entered into a contract with him knowing that he had issues and will probably end up being caught up in it financially.
Civil Rights are Civil Rights whether it’s an issue with Anxiety or a Cop beating your Ashe with a flashlight.

And everybody that is collecting Disability are legit. Just like GM’s game the system by Voidable Years and contracts RG is working the system too.
One of the Requirements to getting Disability for Anxiety is that the condition has persisted for 2 years.
BTW there are other ways to get the THC to treat the condition besides smoking weed. Your thinking seems to be as old as the Tampa Two.

Yea. That lack of ability to put a sentence together is one of my reasons for not liking Todd. How can he think logically under pressure when can’t put his thoughts into words correctly. Come on Todd! Use your words correctly! It makes communicating so much easier.

It’s good that the only negative someone can find is about a guy who’s not in camp and somebody who’s sarcastic about the language Bowles used as if these guys are at a country club right now
I’m expecting a great season this year. LFG BAKER do at least what you did last year were double digit winner of the division and deep in the playoffs. Detroit and San Fran stand between us and a Super Bowl appearance
