    Great podcast!

Yes, go Baker compared to Lamar! Stats don’t lie. Possibly Mahomes too! Great to hear. We do need to have big leads early on and keep them. Not just field goals either.

Britt is still young, 25, and hoping to see what he does this season. Lavonte is so different from Devin. That whole confusion with Devin definitely weighed in on Lavonte and others on the team too. Agree with Coach Bowles, Devin needed a change. He has had a lot going on in his life, including the way his dad died. Thinking his head wasn’t on the field for awhile. I wish him well mentally and physically.

Love to see Lavonte with the gold jacket. Optimistically, hope it happens for him.

Too funny – “Momma don’t let your babies grow up to be linebackers!” Having a good laugh on that.

Got around to listening to this today. Great discussion, I’m enjoying the content more and more.

Nothing quite like Ira recapturing that old a.m. radio experience. –Joe

Ira un willling to admit Baker is a financial bargain based on the current QB market is hilarious and shows how uninformed he is on the sport.

When guys like Trevor Lawrence ($55 million) Kyler Murray ($46 million) Watson ($46 million) Daniel Jones ($40 million) are getting what they are and have not consistently put together good seasons YES, Baker is a bargain, AGAIN.

    Be better Ira!

Re: Devin White and his comment about acting like a lawyer… I think what he meant was he got too focused on the business side of things, to the point where it made him lose focus on the game, much to his own detriment. He’s never been the most articulate guy to begin with lol.

I’ve been very harsh on White, but I won’t call him a clown, and here’s why:

He was immature and made a mistake / miscalculation. It happens. Especially when you’re young and experience incredibly high level of success (winning at LSU, winning the SB in your 2nd season in the NFL). And with how pampered some of these guys get starting at the collegiate level, it’s no surprise that success goes to their heads.

So New York City is comparable to Gaza now?
Not sure what you’re talking about? There wasn’t anything outside football or Ira’s personal life in this podcast. Or on the website.–Joe
I should’ve left after the recent Gaines Adams comment.
But my affinity for deep Buccaneer intel impaired my moral compass (if I have one).
    Not anymore. I’m a JBF long-timer, but I’m out.
    I’ll scratch my itch elsewhere.
Here’s hoping you’ll continue to try and improve your narratives (both written and verbal).

    Postscript:
    Ira’s from Brooklyn.
    And he’s the best.
    But I’m disappointed in him.
He should have called you out with the gloves off.
    And he knows it.

Ira also says he has no idea what you’re talking about.–Joe
