Jason Licht Keeps Receipts (Part III)

Who could forget back in January when Buccaneers Ring of Honor general manager Jason Licht publicly humiliated hated Saints edge rusher Cam Jordan?
It was beautiful thing.
Licht has gotten real good at finding just the right moment to zing a detractor. Licht is patient and calculating. He’ll wait years if he has to. Consider how Licht fired a well-timed dart quickly at The Sage of TampaBay Sports, Ira Kaufman, during a recent episode of the Ira Kaufman Podcast.
Kaufman had skewered Licht in a December 2018 column and called for his head.
Well, Licht was at it again last week at the NFL Scouting Combine. He found Connor Orr of SI.com and, well, the exchange is below. Orr had predicted a two-win season last year for Tampa Bay.
Joe hopes to one day be on the wrong end of a Licht receipt when it comes to running back Rachaad White. What a thrill it would if White proved to be a quality threat on the ground, rather than only through the air.

Can’t be. If you believe the basement dwelling reality ignoring Simple Jacks blowtarding on this site, Licht doesn’t know what he’s doing by inking Baker Mayfield to a contract and these computer nimrods would rather have Rusty Wilson.
If they are right then Licht is about to be fired by the Glazers and replaced by Simple Jack.

We are lucky to Have Jason Licht. I think he is in the Top 2 of Gms in the league,along with John Lynch.
Fantastic job signing Brady, and keeping that team together.
Finding a Probowl QB walking the streets is mind Blowing.
Great job with our Free agents.
Early Congrats on a contract that got finalized tonight a little after 6, and will be announced tomorrow.
Now go get us a guard and Center!

When Jason inks Baker, you Blowtards who think it’s a bad idea should immediately declare Licht to be incompetent and ask the Glazers to fire him. Then put your names in as his replacement.
And when the Bucs make the playoffs again for the 5th consecutive year, your Simple Jack IQs will be verified.

I wouldnt bet the farm, but Im risking being ridiculed by the haters here- to share what Im hearing.

Yes just shy of a 1k yards He could have broke the 1k mark but chose to slide to a stop and run out the lock in a very important game instead. Team player. He also cost himself some money doing it. Bucs draft Jackson Powers Johnson or Graham Barton and he will eclipse 1100 next season .

Well, jarrett , obviously to Jason Licht and the professionals of the NFL, Baker is a very good QB and a helluva teammate. None of them even know who you are there in your mom’s spare room, but if they did, no doubt they would reciprocate your view. Send Jason Licht a message about Saquon, I’m sure he would never have thought of it. Oh, and he’s still got priority Bucs to sign under the cap, (Saquon is not a cap friendly prospect) but keep regurgitating comments about pros like Baker being trash.

Last time I checked , Licht is not in the Ring of Honor and if and when he is so honored it would likely be after Rich McKay. So how about holding off on the ring of honor moniker until Licht actually receives.

We had Mike Evans and Chris Godwin for years before Brady. They were losers every year, until we got franchise Qbs Brady, then Mayfield.
