Cool interview. I find it interesting that Jason thought Trask was ahead of Baker at one point. But, Ira provided the most logical reasoning behind the who’s starting at qb. Both the fact Bowles wasn’t going to risk his career on a risky but competent Trask. So, they went with Mayfield before the off season program kicked off anyway to save his career. Yet, they lied about it being an open competition.
It’s very logical versus saying someone sucks when we don’t know how he would perform in live in season games. Saying Trask suck is equivalent to saying Baker suck since Jason thought Trask had a shot to start based off the off season program.
I want the team to win whether it’s Baker or Trask or Wolford. The gaslighting and so called you’re not a fan cause you don’t agree with an opinion is childish takes. Looking forward to a great season with the best GM the Bucs had since I’ve been a fan.

No trade value.
Lmao

Interesting that they all speak of Trask looking better in practice last year. Yet they will saddle the franchise with a 30 million cap hit to resign Mayfield.

They keep saying that Trask only has a few passes under his belt, who’s responsible for that? Mahomes started with no passes, give the guy his opportunity and see what he can do. I am all for not resigning Mayfield to a big number long term contract to have an average QB, huge mistake that will saddle the franchise for years. The Bucs can do worse then Mayfield and they can certainly do better.

Never thought I’d hear one of the Joes talking about having “rizz” hahaha.
But I agree 100% – and I have also spent the last decade beating the drum about Lavonte David (and Mike Evans, though he’s gotten more respect lately).
Lavonte’s numbers are comparable if not better to ANY and EVERY other LB peer (Wagner, Kuechley, Bowman, Warner, etc.)
