Hates Saints defensive end Cam Jordan.
Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan is one of the great anti-Bucs windbags of the 21st century. He’s trashed the Bucs repeatedly.
So it’s sort of fun to note that Jordan is now a trash player.
At 34 years old, it seems Jordan is out of gas. He’s played in every game this season and has just two sacks and six quarterback hits.
Think of how Bucs sacks king Shaq Barrett has struggled in 2023; he’s got 4 1/2 sacks and nine QB hits, plus an interception and three forced fumbles. Jordan has no forced fumbles and no picks.
Longtime Saints media guy Mike Nabors joined WDAE radio today for a chat about Sunday’s Bucs-Saints matchup and was extraordinarily down about New Orleans. Joe was happy to hear it.
In addition to Nabors saying the Saints have no shot of shutting down Mike Evans because Marshon Lattimore is injured, Nabors cited a comment to him from the Saints’ starting center that Nabors called an indictment. Per Nabors, center Eric McCoy told him, “Maybe we haven’t been as close as we thought,” meaning their offense just hasn’t come together.
“The Saints aren’t really good at anything,” added Nabors, who isn’t a hot-take guy or an attention-seeker.
Hopefully, the Bucs have right tackle Luke Goedeke mic’d up again so everyone can hear him trash talk washed out Jordan once the Bucs put the game out of reach. That would be a beautiful thing.

Yeah. Cameron Jordan predicted he was going to expose Tristan Wirfs once Tom Brady was no longer throwing the football in less than 2.5 seconds.
It appears the only player that is getting exposed is Cam Jordan instead.

Now do Alvin Kamara. Before the Rams Thursday night game, the crew did a feature on him that lasted for what seemed like an eternity. Imagine an entire segment focused on what a “great guy” he is with fluff interviews and all. How did he do in front of a national audience? 19 lousy yards. Keeping him (and Olave) contained is part of the blueprint for beating the Aints.

I hate NO as much as any Bucs fan. But let’s not pretend that until recently we’ve done anything to shut him up. You wanna get him to stop running his mouth? Win. I saw a stat that his teams are 17-8 against the us. So Sunday go out there and make a statement. Beat a hated rival and take the division crown. Simple as that.

I would say most of us on here have had the same thought about a Bucs collapse. My dad was raised in Tampa and I was an army brat so we moved around and he would root for the Bucs and I became a fan. To this day he still says the same thing about the Bucs when they collapse “once again the Bucs snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.” He is more pessimistic than me and I’m more of a “optimistic realist” in that I see the best case, worst case and most likely case then plan for all three results. I don’t delude myself but I lean to be more hopeful and optimistic. The team is more consistent, the coaching is better and a win this weekend would be amazing for the nfc south title, playoffs, set a new record against the saints with 4 consecutive wins but also very important: shut Jordan up for another year.
I hope we win. The team is motivated and the saints are deflated. Carr has not brought the team together as mayfield has with the Bucs. I believe that will be the difference. Canales and Mayfield lead the offense when they admit their errors and solve them instead of just yell and blame like Carr has done.
Just have hope and as a life long Bucs fan…have booze on hand.

Cam hasn’t done crap against the Bucs in 2 years. All talk now, no action. Wirfs and GoDonkey will handle him. No Lattimore, no chance of stopping Evans. And Honey Badger – what has that guy done in the past 3 years?? Nada.

As the game gets closer, my anxiety gets higher about this game. Cam Jordan will hopefully eat his words AGAIN and we can eliminate their playoff hopes while solidifying the division at their expense!! I hate those slimy A’ints!

As soon as it is assumed an opponent is weak and a Bucs win should be expected, Todd’s teams go out and play like special needs spastics. Please, expect the Saints best and expect Jordan to make Goedonkey look like a matador. Then play so you can stop Jordan, maybe cover a wide receiver, and sack Carr a few times.

Hey, Paratrooper Buc. Your dad sounds like me, a good man with a good soul. He understands that when it comes to the Bucs, especially at home, let the clock get to zero before you count the W. I personally have been following this team since 1978 so I have seen it all. The ups, the downs and the short-falls, it’s heart breaking. Living in North Carolina now I continue to route for my team regardless. I will never be a stinking Panthers fan, never. Regarding your dad and your families sacrifices for our freedom, to talk and watch football, most appreciated.

I hate Cam Jordan…..cheap shot artist , arrogant, conceited,, and full of hot air…
At 5-5 this year when they were 1/2 game ahead of us ….on NFL network he said they were gonna win out and put the rest of the NFC South where they belong..way below them…
Still in wouldn’t put him short or the Saints …..it’s always a tough match up

Yeah I can’t stand Cam, but that dude always plays his best game against the Bucs. We should have drafted him, because he’s been the backbone of the Saints defense. If he’s done that’s great for us, but he had a helluva run, loud mouth and all, I give him respect being a recking machine for a long time.

Older players don’t suddenly suck. They usually loose their consistency and can’t stay healthy. I’m sure Cam is very motivated to have his best game this week. I’m not saying its gonna happen but it wouldn’t surprise me. Talking about how you’re gonna run up the score is the kinda talk that gets you beat.

Jordan may be out of gas but after 13 seasons you won’t find many full of Piss and Vinegar.. Based on the last 5 years his and Barrett stats are pretty even. Sure Shaquil has a ‘look what I found’ pick but that’s just dumb luck.
There are always two sides of every story and on the other side of the Saints DE duo is Carl Granderson. This beast has a PFF grade of just under 90. In comparison no one on the Bus D Line is currently graded over 75. Jordan is graded at 74.7 and basically a Vea or Diaby so any Offense that doesn’t respect that is crazy.
Can’t double them both and any extra attention paid to one leaves you vulnerable.
Sure Jordan may have a smart mouth but like Derek Carr you don’t have to worry much about his mouth or their QB from beating you.
Those two defensive ends can make a big impact especially if the back 7 can take away the Bucs two second fast break passes.
If they can make Mayfield work for his receptions it could be a long day and maybe a trip to the blue tent.
If the Saints lose Sunday it won’t be because of their Defensive Ends.

How about a shutout of the Aints? Bucs almost pulled it off against the Jags, and they are a MUCH BETTER team. Cam Jordan is too long in the tooth and flaps his gums too much.

I have not liked Cam over the years with him running his yap. With that said the guy will most likely be in the HOF one day, and a lot of those stats came against the Bucs. Just hope the old Dog does not somehow hunt well on Sunday.
