If the Bucs play JJ Russell it will be his coming out party Sunday. So long Dev-mid White.

  2. HC Grover Says:

  3. BA’s Red Pen Says:

    It’s a Bucs Life……
    oh boy

  4. Tye Says:

    The Bowels Curse is MIGHTY!
Hopefully the Bucs can squeak by but MAN, TB is such a LOSER as HC…

  5. Tye Says:

Jim Harbaugh would bring such excitement and confidence as Bucs HC!

  6. Not Says:

Come on, the Bucs suck , but really

  7. DBS Says:

Todd Bowles defense makes any rookie QB look like a Hall Of Fame QB.

  8. Bucswin Says:

    Zero confidence..

  9. Usfbuc Says:

Bucs are marginally better at passing the ball but the Panthers are marginally better at running the ball. Dean, David, and White all out which means the Offense will have to carry the game. I hope we win but I don’t think we do.

Checking the Panthers blogs again… they say this is their most winnable game of the season since week 1, and two of three writers are straight up picking the Panthers to win.

Man, again, this Bucs team was just a year ago the NFC favorite to go to the Super Bowl, now you have the worst team in football calling the Bucs a cream puff matchup. How far Bowles and Baker have taken this team.

With that said, the Bucs just have, overwhelmingly, too much talent to lose this game. Even with injuries, they’re still the much more talented team, playing at home.

If they lose this game, Bowles shouldn’t even be allowed into the locker room, he should be escorted out of the stadium and told the team will mail him his belongings.

But I’m going to stick by my offseason picks and say the Bucs win this game, which will then be their final victory of the year.

Anyone who thinks Todd can win another game as a head coach is admired as a diehard fan but will be bitterly disappointed. He is now in complete internal panic mode, but his fake stoic demeanor doesn’t let that be obvious. He is a linear system guy, and that method is failing again for the 5th time in 6 seasons. Every decision he makes will be wrong. Every directive he gives his assistants will be wrong. This is 2011 all over again. At least that year I didn’t waste time watching after about 4-6.

Adios Todd. Enjoy an ice cold beer as you’fire up your Botox franchising business.

  13. FortMyersDave Says:

Rod, the only problem with Panther blogs are that the Panther fans are as fickle as Buc fans. A Titan fan I know said he heard the same stuff on his Titan boards that you are posting, that the game against a bad Titan game was the Panther’s most winnable game on their schedule last week. Panthers lost as usual. This Titan fan actually admits that his team is bad, but he said the Panthers were gawd-awful, much worse than the Bucs team he saw hold his team to 6 at RJS. Of course he shuddered when I asked him if he would want Bowles as HC over his guy Vrabel. Anyhow, the opinions of fans of a 1-10 team are pretty much irrelevant. What is relevant is that I bet Todd Bowles is at least a 4 point anchor on the Bucs betting lines. If the Bucs had a better HC do you think the line would be -3/-3.5, nah, it would be -7. Todd Bowles and his “play not to lose” conservative mentality is what worries me tomorrow afternoon. Bucs should win but I do not think I can bet by more than 3, 16-13 Bucs.

This should have happened several games ago, if not at the end of last season.

  15. Ugotrobbed Says:

Hope not! Time to start over! Brady effect is LONG GONE now, obviously! Trades and draft picks!

  16. PewterStiffArm Says:

I am reluctantly going to watch this three ring circus. The clowns on both sidelines will attempt to show up and naturally fall short. If this team looses to the Panthers, the Glasers better have Bowles clean out his office on Monday. I know this breaks with the Glaser family tradition to hold on and add to the misery of loosing. If we lose this winnable game today without reprocussions the list of quality head coaches starts to diminish. I know names are starting to be thrown around but please, no coordinators. We need a head coach that can manage all three teams with purpose, not just one side of the ball.

  17. Mike Johnson Says:

Bucs should easily beat the Panthers. However, if Carolina comes out playing all out hard and hittin, we are in for a nail biting, 50/50 game which could go either way. Should be fun. Battle of the Losers Bowl

  18. Craig Says:

    Panther 15-Bucs 12.

The bonfire under Hot Toddie will blaze tonight.

  19. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

With our starting LBs in, I would sadly predict a win…but…with them out I am happily predicting a loss!

Happily…because I believe that is what is the best result for the team.

  20. Marco Says:

I’ve come to the conclusion that there are 2 scenarios.
    1) This team is tanking for draft position.
    2) This is a horrible head coach.

They have to be tanking because there is no way in hell that a head coach could be this stupid.

  21. Ward Says:

Told ya, JJ is way better than devin
