Christmas wishes.
Todd Bowles has his list. He’s checked it more than twice. But has he been naughty or has he been nice?
Joe is guessing Bowles wanted a healthy team in December. And he mostly has it. Bowles said today after practice that no one is ruled out for a critical game Sunday against the Jags. Not even Devin White (for now?).
Bowles did say “maybe” one player was a game-time decision but he didn’t say who. It’s likely defensive tackle Will Gholston.
What Bowles did say is on his list when he speaks with Santa Claus. And Joe guesses many Bucs fans have the same wish list. When Bowles was asked what he wanted for Christmas, he didn’t hesitate.
“To win the last three games, and then the first three in the playoffs, and then the last one after that,” Bowles said.
What Bucs fan could disagree?
If Bowles has been naughty, perhaps Santa finds a way to get the Bucs past the Jags. A win there and likely only the slimy Saints stand in the way of the Bucs winning the NFC South or not.
