Marshon Lattimore Heads To Injured Reserve; Jason Pierre-Paul Replaces Him

November 25th, 2023

Activity on the slimy Saints roster today with faces familiar to Bucs fans on the move.

One face is dirty and hated stud Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore, arch rival of Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans. He’s got an ankle injury and was moved to the injured reserve list. That means he’ll miss at least four games and it could be a season-ending injury.

The Bucs play the Saints on New Year’s Eve in Tampa, likely a key game in the chase for the NFC South crown.

Replacing Lattimore on the New Orleans roster is historic Bucs pass rusher Jason Pierre-Paul (2018-2021). His four Bucs seasons were marked by a Pro Bowl trip, a Super Bowl ring, beastly leadership and a stunning comeback from a broken neck. He was promoted from the Saints practice squad after signing off the street earlier this month.

Tomorrow, New Orleans (5-5) plays at Atlanta (4-6).

Not the slimy Saints, JPP!! Say it ain’t so. 😕

  2. Buc4evr Says:

Wish we would kept JPP, he would have been a great backup for our rising star and all pro OLB. lol. Like JTS will ever amount to anything…

  3. Fred McNeil Says:

JPP is mighty long in the tooth. Lattimore is a big loss.

  4. Oddball Says:

    JPP at corner!

    I know, but still…

  5. teacherman777 Says:

Our defense lost its soul last year without JPP and Suh.

    JPP should have been retained.

    Why?

He can play OLB, DE, and DT in our scheme.

Also, because he plays with fire and sets the standard for the whole defense.

  6. Hodad Says:

    He’s spent.

  7. D Cone Says:

Doubt JPP will be used as a Defensive Back. He’s filling an open spot and the best Next Man Up.

If Ridder responds from his benching with 30 points and a Win the South is going to become a toss up.

C’mon let’s be real, Lattimore isn’t a dirty player and he’s far better than any corner on the Bucs roster. Focus on beating the Colts!
