Bucs Players Ruled Out For Sunday

November 3rd, 2023

Injury report.

Bucs coach Todd Bowles seems to have an unwritten rule for his players. If you don’t practice, you don’t play.

And so is the case for left guard Matt Feiler and defensive lineman Logan Hall. Neither one of them practiced this week due to injuries to their wheels. Thus, they will not suit up Sunday in Houston when the Bucs face the Texans.

Filer has been battling a knee issue suffered in the loss to the Dixie Chicks. He toughed it out in that game but hasn’t taken a snap since.

Hall suffered a groin injury last week in Buffalo. He sucked it up last week and logged 18 snaps. But Sunday, will will take none.

Defensive tackle Vita Vea (groin), cornerback Christian Izien (illness) and safety Kaevon Merriweather (ankle) are all questionable for Sunday. Izien came down with an illness and was added to the injury report today. He did not practice this morning.

Vea and Merriweather both fully participated in practice today.

For Houston, tight end Brevin Jordan (foot), running back Dameon Pierce (ankle) and wide receiver Robert Woods have each been declared out for Sunday.

Defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins (knee) is listed as questionable.

The Texans have been playing surprisingly good as of lately…..they look rejuvenated with their new HC and their rookie QB looks good fir a rookie and mature beyond his years.

This game Sunday will not be a “gimme” unlike previous years playing a Texan team……the Bucs better come out slugging or else this game will get Ugly really fast!!!!

  2. Fred McNeil Says:

Anthem, I am so with ya on that, brother. We don’t need to just win. We need to make a statement. Score early. Don’t let up.

    ^ fixed it for you

Zero hope for a Bucs win this Sunday

You betcha!!! The Texans will be fired up with their potential-franchise-quarterback developing and looking good. They’ll look across the field and laugh at the Bucs with their potential-franchise-quarterback on the sideline never having taken a snap in a game with the starters because the Bucs think it is more important to try to revive the career of a washed-up, undersized, chubby, bust quarterback.

Unless you are betting it seems to be harder to care anymore.

If the Bucs run game is improved with Stinnie, then how has he not been the starter since day 1? I think Stinnie and leverett should have been starters from the 1st game. Mauch is a rookie with a bad back & Fieller is just not a good player.

This will be a very tough game for the Bucs. If Bowles is out coahed again then Bowles time in Tampa will come to an end. The Texans head coach is a great defensive coach and Canales may end up being exposed. Hoping for the Bucs to win this game but my confidence in this coaching staff is waning.

TB has to play more tight man coverages, his zone schemes are just not working. Too man easy throws and open recievers.

    “Make a statement “😂

I wonder which Texans team show up?

They look good one week, and really bad the next. They are funny like that.

I have a feeling were gonna break out this Sunday in all aspects and win 31-17 , which will get fan base all pumped up again and excited only to lay an egg in S.F and bring out the bench and fire everyone card….i hope this sunday at least were all grinning about a huge (must) win

  12. Mike Johnson Says:

Bucs need Vita to stuff the line. Its quite noticeable when he does not play. The D line barely gets any pressure at all.

  13. FortMyersDave Says:

Logan Hall is out? Who cares? The only relevant thing he has ever done is derail Ryan Jensen’s career and in turn the Bucs’O-line and offense at the start of training camp 2022 and be yet another 2nd round bust by Licht. Too bad JTS is not inactive as well, dude is another bust the Bucs refuse to give up on.

  14. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

We need to lose. That’s the truth of it.

  15. Old School Bucs Says:

I am very optimistic about this sunday, because of the upgrades to the Older ne qnd defense this week! Oh wait, that didnt happen….never mind.

  16. Old School Bucs Says:

Sorry I meant upgrades to the oline.

  17. orlbucfan Says:

Hey BB, I hope we kick the crap out of the Texans Sunday. Why? Cos it will chase all the fake fans off here for a week. That will be a relief. I am so over all the loser BS. Go Bucs!!

  18. RagingBrisket Says:

Been ruling themselves out since day one

  19. Vancouver Buc Says:

    Can Bowels be ruled out?

  20. Joshua porter Says:

I’m getting to the point of just lose so we can draft a qb

Joshua porter Says: “I’m getting to the point of just lose so we can draft a qb.”

You mean like Justin Fields, Trey Lance, and Zach Wilson?

  22. Marine Buc Says:

Neither Hall or Feiler will be missed.

Stinnie is a better guard than Feiler and Hall is the worst rated d-lineman in the NFL.

    They both suck.

    Addition by subtraction…

Doom and gloom after a very good start. Who knows what to expect tomorrow? I will watch with zero confidence sad to say.
