Bucs Injuries Mount

November 15th, 2023

Good news and disturbing news on the Buccaneers’ official injury report, the first of this week.

First, Mike Evans showed up on the report with quad issue. He was limited in practice today. Joe doesn’t like the smell of that at all.

Good news came in the form of No. 1 cornerback Carlton Davis practicing fully on his bad toe. And starting left guard Matt Feiler also was full-go in practice. He’s missed the last two games with a knee injury.

More bad news showed up with starting right tackle Luke Goedeke and inside linebacker Devin White. Each has a bad foot. Safety Ryan Neal was out today with a bad thumb.

Ryan Neal can take his thumb and SIUHA.

  2. Couch Fan Says:

Seems like Evans is always having quad issues.

  3. Fred McNeil Says:

Everybody’s a bit dinged up this time of year. Evens should probably take it easy. Happy for Feiler. Now he can back up Stinnie. Neal can back up Delaney. Any word if Licht kicked the tires on that RB you were talking about earlier? Maybe we will see a little Dennis out there.

  4. Dewey Selmon Says:

Hey fred the Cards picked up Carter, He only made it past Car and NE

  5. Boss Says:

    evans is OG……..means old guy.

retirement time. plenty of homes in FL

  6. 1#bucsfan Says:

@Boss ME13 is killing it JOE has stated many times in TV that he’s was having his best camp he’s ever seen. 30 isn’t old either. ME13 also got in the TB12 training regime. He’s got another 5 years in him

  7. Tbbucs3 Says:

    Carlton Davis- Toe
    Ryan Neal- Thumb

The 85 Bears are laughing at us….

  8. ElioT Says:

    @Boss

    Unless you’re joking, you’re a complete moron.

  9. Seattle Buc Says:

I also heard that despite the best efforts of team doctors there has been no improvement to Baker’s height. 🙂

  10. Fred McNeil Says:

    Thank you, Dewey.

  11. pmarcello Says:

Baker is 6ft 1. That is taller than Breeze,Tarkinton,Theisman, and Kyler Mrray. In fact his is the same size as Sonny Liston. You size obsession morons reveal more about your own physical and psychological inadequacies than any problems with Baker.

  12. Rod Munch Says:

Please keep Feiler on the bench. The run game has looked better the last two weeks, in part because Feiler hasn’t been out there to totally whiff on his blocks. Not saying the guy shouldn’t ever play, but I’d let Stinnie keep his job until he loses – and not just hand it back over to a guy that was missing a lot of blocks.

  13. T. McGee Says:

Just rest everyone and take the 49ers game as a preseason game and second bye week for starters. Need people functional for another two months.

  14. Tony Says:

I agree with SmoothBayrider on Ryan Neal.

  15. Let ‘em bake Says:

Last time Evans out Godwin went crazy( saints game) ….

  16. CAbucsfan Says:

You’re going to need that thumb Ryan, hitch hike the F out of town.

  17. Proudbucsfan Says:

On buccaneers.com this weeks depth chart has Feiler as starting LG. I personally am very disappointed but that doesn’t mean we won’t see A. Stinnie a lot in the game. Another disappointing starter this week is JTS he should be on the practice squad he doesn’t even belong in the NFL

  18. rickym Says:

    Maybe Stinnie starts for Goedeke?

  19. teacherman777 Says:

Stinnie does not have the length to play tackle.

He’s a stocky guard. Not a long and flexible tackle.

Tackles are a special kind of athlete.

But Feiler is 6-6 and has experience at RT.

  20. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Chase Young AND Bosa..

    Wow.

  21. Rayjay1122 Says:

When you play like you have your thumb up your butt, you risk a thumb injury.

  22. orlbucfan Says:

Bet the 49ers are banged up, too. It’s just the price of playing NFL football. I’m not sweating the receivers or White. White needs to play hurt cos he hasn’t been worth a s##t until last Sunday against the Titans. It might keep him alert.

  23. David Says:

“Safety Ryan Neal was out today with a bad thumb.”

You forgot to add at the beginning … “More good news, …”

  24. unbelievable Says:

So many Bucs fans are such idiots, JFC

Need Evans White and Goedeke. Badly.

Could care less about Neal or Davis. All they do is watch opposing receivers run past them anyways

  25. Mike Says:

Bucs can rest some of these guys for the SF game and get them ready for the next four games after, all winnable games.

  26. Christopher Schiefen Says:

Wait, are you saying Feiler is starting?!?

  27. OLDE pfart Says:

It has been a long time since bye week ….and all teams banged up about now…..time to test the benches to see who can stand up to pro football competition and keep on ticking……and be smart enough to rest the guys who really need the extra week off …..

  28. garro Says:

Injury reports have become like my financial reports made by my fictitious Banker.

    Mostly exaggerated. LOL

    Go Bucs!

  29. Larrd Says:

Well at least Neal has finally taken that thumb out of his butt! He’s had it on there every time I have noticed him on the field this season.
