Polarized world we are….and bi polar fans we have….
We are 3 and 2, when most would have signed before the season started, we are leading on our division, and 38% have little confidence on our coach…..Weird

  2. SteveK Says:

    Totally confident.

Todd is a great defensive mastermind. The defense is strong.

Can we get a RB worth their salt? No offense to the guys on the roster, but not impressed w the results on the ground.

  3. Bee Says:

Little confidence as always. Still early but this team is consistently inconsistent. Offense isn’t good 2nd year in a row. We’ll see how this Sunday goes

  4. bucsfan951 Says:

little confidence before, little confidence now, most likely little confidence later, too.

  5. bucnjim Says:

We’ve beaten the teams we probably should have beat and we’ve lost to the better teams. I’d like to see an upset or two but in general Confident.

  6. LOL Says:

Very confident he wont be the head coach much longer. LOL

  7. Obvious Says:

As promised,.depending on wins, loses, and overall performance determines my voting and has slipped from what was confident to the now little confidence. BUT, BUT it’s not Willie Nillie. O No. Infact it might be a “gift” considering how I’m viewing Bowles and the Strong potential of him screwing the pooch.

With that said, it’s beginning to look VERY CLEAR that Bowles has his hands on the offensive side of the ball game planning and his finger on the scale..

Point in fact : The “Run Play Style” and the SAME methodology and designs as last season CAN’T BE a coincidence. No Way!

Canales DID NOT come from this (Up the futile middle again and again) “style of game play” as Another point to be made. It seems to me that the “west coast style” of play has a Lot more pizazz, flare, and creative concepts than the caveman running with a “small club” up the middle again and again. Where is the creativity? Hey I get that some of these guys take a little longer to acclimate but Come On! Why isn’t Canales being more creative?

I’m actually rethinking the “who’s Guilty” of that pee wee football, 70’s/80’s game planning from last year.

Was Leftwich’s hands tied? Thinking back to 2019 thru 2021, Leftwich didn’t play ball like that. He didn’t call the masochist “I love the abuse” style of game play did he? He had imagination and “advanced concepts” of today’s style of game play.

The difference? “THE NEW HEAD HONCHO”!

And witnessing the revision of last year’s game planning and style, ALL THE SUDDEN I and others are asking ourselves, is”Leftwich back there behind the curtain” calling the plays all the sudden???

I’ve got a bad feeling that INDEED “Bolwes” is once again Tipping the scales and putting HIS STAMP on the offensive game play! It’s just Far to Similar to last year all of the sudden! I’m not sure of it but the eye test says YES IMHO.

  8. firethecannons Says:

I have confidence 100% in the defense only

  9. Obvious Says:

I suppose to me, I might of have had “rose colored glasses” on and it might have been the style of play all along. I noticed how many times I wrote “all the sudden” I guess “all the sudden” my glasses fell off and I’m seeing in new shades. I was hoping they wouldn’t fall off. But when it gets to the point of insanity, the glasses break…

We’re STILL a Great team and have time to fix this! To realize our true potential, Todd Bowles will need to Leave the Offensive schemes to the Offensive mind.

    “If that’s what’s happening”

  10. Boss Says:

I gained a little week before last. he had risen from toilet bowl to fruit bowl.

oh well, fruit has passed and it’s back to toilet bowl.

he has no fire…none, zilch, nada

he should send a cardboard cut out of himself to the next game. I bet we would stomp the other team, as they won’t be lulled to sleep listening to toilet bowl pre game. and send ME with him. mike has some spark left….just forgot where he left it.

    GO BUCS!!

  11. SlyPirate Says:

HEAD COACH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENITRE TEAM
Defense is really good. Offense is terrible. Just because you say you’re hands off doesn’t mean you aren’t accountable.

  12. David Says:

It’s extremely obvious, they need guards and a center… And they have to draft a quarterback next year.
I get the love affair with Baker, great guy, gutty, etc. but he misses a lot of reads and throws. He is not much more than a game manager, or a really good back up.

  13. 808bucfan Says:

As long as TB allows offense to run up yhe middle consistently even when it doesn’t work, ill have no confidence in TB.

  14. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Well said!

  15. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    @David

I agree. the problem is he could win just enough games to keep us from drafting a QB worth getting.

We’ll probably walk into the playoffs.

  16. gp Says:

I think Obvious has hit on an important point. We brought in a new OC to change up and bring more imaginative running plays but we seem to be using “almost” exactly the same “run up the gut” rushing attack. Our opponents know where we’re going with it before we even line up. We’re too easy to defend and that won’t change until we “shake it up” with different looks and different run calls. There’s a whole new world OUTSIDE of the tackles.
Lefty didn’t do that as much before Bowles took over, but he certainly caught the blame for it after Bowles put his stamp on it.

How many OC’s has Bowles ‘gone through’ in his head coaching career?

He retained one, after his first season with the jets, his only winning season as a head coach. Every other season, after posting a losing record, the OC took the blame and was fired. That’s why we ended up with a totally inexperienced OC, nobody else wanted to take the blame for Bowles ineptitude.

  17. Jeff Says:

Todd is merely a good DC when managed by a strong Head Coach for guidance.

  18. Tbbucs3 Says:

I highly trust Bowels when it comes to the defense….as far as the offense I put most of the blame on Jason Licht and his inability to find a competent running back

  19. DBS Says:

Deep in our own end of the field exactly what play would have Leftnut called 3 times in a row? On 3rd downs Leftnut would not try to catch tht defense sleeping and go long. They are not running the same plays. The first play is not always up the gut.

  20. donuts Says:

I voted confident but Bowles is trending downward. His mismanagement of the 4th and 2 with 11 minutes to go was mind boggling. The O was not moving well and it was the perfect time to go for it down 2 scores. This is a HUGE mistake and BAD coaching 101.

  21. Onetrickpony Says:

Bowels,we have to run the ball.
    With who,I ask.
That’s like the little VW saying I want to run 140mph like the big boys do.
Taint gonna happen with who we have.

  22. orlbucfan Says:

It’s Todd Bowles, not Bowel. That typo needs to be fixed, joes.

  23. Mike Johnson Says:

Just have a great game plan against them dirty birds todd. Beat the hell out of them Falcons.

  24. Brandon Says:

The fact that this poll sways back and forth like a pendulum only tells how fickle and stupid many Bucs fans are. Bowles is who he is…. he isn’t a bad coach by any means, he also isn’t great. I’m confident in him, slightly more confident this season than last. My confidence will not go up or down significantly based on a week to week performance. If you’re a fan and your confidence soars or wavers off of one performance, you’re probably not an intelligent fan.

  25. Obvious Says:

    So Brandon,

If you believe in performance based results then your not an intelligent fan?

What do you do for a living? Weather man? Garbage man?
