The Bucs Are Playing Mostly Smart Football

October 1st, 2023

Discipline.

Joe has to give the Bucs credit for not playing dumb football.

In fact, they are playing smart football.

Per @NFL_Stats, a football feed on “X,” the Bucs have the third-fewest penalties per game in the NFL. That is outstanding. The Bucs average 4.7 penalties a game. Only the Jets and the Jags have fewer.

The teams with the most penalties? They would be the Stinking Panthers, the Broncos and the Cardinals. They have a combined record of 1-8. Yikes.

That run up the gut for the safety play after Delaney’s massively awesome interception reeks of genius. Waiting until the 4th quarter to actually play offense was cerebral. Continuing with Rashaad “Dancing By Myself” White as the top RB is MENSA stuff. The smartest thing of all is having the worst run blocking offensive line in history and insisting on running half the snaps anyway.

Smart football? It’s definition of insanity football. Let’s keep averaging 2ypc until we don’t?

    Brilliant. Have a Guinness.

Hmm and they have been called for some very BS calls!

See Donovan, you can play without holding and jumping before the snap.

    Very good catch Joe!

    Go Bucs!

    Did somebody mention MENSA?
    smh
Last I checked, coaches don’t get called for many penalties.(Bad news when they do though)
Keep to the subject matter please.

Turnovers, Penalties & Special Teams….usually the difference maker in games.

Just checked on our former LT. He has no sacks, 3 penalties this far (all holdings, to be sure) Glad we could put that $15 million somewhere else
