On the Prime Vision thing you can see Mayfield has guys open. Buffalo will give you that by applying pressure – but Mayfield already seems to have happy feet and is eager to get rid of it instead of going through his progressions – which, to be fair is how a high pressure defense works, so that’s their job.
But every game should have this view available, it’s so much better than the TV view.

On 3rd and 9, Baker immediately gets rid of the ball, no chance at a first down. That tanked the drive, which, was only kept alive because the Bills defense for no reason jumped on Otton, who wasn’t even remotely open.
That was a bad offensive series.
I do disagree about the run – so far it’s fine. They’ve only ran it three times, got 6 yards, 2 yards and 1 yard, or 3 yards per carry. If you get 3 yards per carry, you’ll get 12 yards every 4 downs, so just go for it, and you’ll win the game.

August 1976 – You think the players pick where to line up and how far off the line, when the Bucs are playing zone defense literally over 90% of the time? They don’t have that much leeway, if the coaches want them up on the line, they’ll tell them to get up on the line.
I do agree, coaching is partly the issue, however the zone is working in limiting the amount of points scored, if not yards.
Not that they can hold out forever with this pitiful offense.

On that last 3rd down, went back and watched it a few times, and man did Cody get ran over on that play, which is why Mayfield had to rush the throw. Had Cody held up just a half second longer he had Otton coming wide open over the middle, but had to bail to get rid of it.
Honestly, at first, looked like a bad play by Mayfield, but he did a good job getting rid of the ball to keep them in FG range.

There were two acceptable choices after they got the free time out and many other terrible choices.
1) Go for it. Big Balls Choice
2) Kick the FG. Meh, but okay Choice
99) No Snap FG formation to draw offsides. Neutered Choice.

But here’s the thing, with Trask there is the hope that maybe things would be different. With Mayfield, we already know what he is, the worst QB in football the last two seasons who crumbles under pressure. There is zero upside with Mayfield. With Trask, the most likely outcome is that he’s a bust, but it’s not certain, like it is with Mayfield.

Bowles always blows it at the end. He did a great job blitzing Stafford. Remember that gem. You know the best QB in the league against the blitz. Bowles is done and so is Baker. I love the double hold on Otton way before the ball got there. That’s too much man. That’s too far and of course the refs don’t call that. Either way Baker sucks. He’s late on most throws. He doesn’t come off his initial read and he has happy feet. Trask might not make a big difference, but he has a better chance at a future with the team than Baker does.

Actually Evans was being held by three guys.
Godwin was literally grabbed and spun by the defender, so he had no idea where the ball was, by the time he was out of the defenders hold and spin and looked up the ball was already hitting the ground.
Blatant PI on both Godwin and Evans, but frankly, that’s never called at the end of any game.
