  1. Leopold Stotch Says:

I’m hopeful Big Balls Bowles is here to stay, far too early tho to raise my confidence to even neutral from little.

  2. adam from ny Says:

    dang………

“big ballz bowles” in a cool name…

    hopefully he maintains…

if he keeps it up the equipment manager will have to order him a case of new jock straps…

let’s not forget, one season he did rock a 10-6 season while in new york

  3. Fred McNeil Says:

I gave him the mid grade. Up from little confidence. Hopefully he will earn back our trust. Don’t let us down.

  4. BucsFaninTN Says:

This was the first game where I thought he made solid coaching decisions. We’ll see if he can build on it. Hopefully, he has learned from his ultra conservative ways. But voting little confidence until I see it in multiple games.

  5. Jerseybuc Says:

I hit confidence n I’ll tell you what I been really down on bowels don’t think he showed enough last year and during his time with the jets but dam my man really surprised me last week

  6. Mike C Says:

Like a new coach all together.

  7. Aceofaerospace Says:

We started 2-0 last season. Way too early to change my opinion of Bowles.

  8. Tyler904 Says:

I went from no confidence to little, another week like last week and I’ll move up again. Big balls Bowles

  9. Bee Says:

Little confidence. Got a long season ahead but so far so good. Hopefully he continues to coach aggressively.

  10. HC Grover Says:

I am confident he has made changes for the better this year. It was evident in his game management.

  11. Dewey Selmon Says:

maybe he was right? Last year he was hired so late that he really couldn’t put his mark on the team.

  12. Cobraboy Says:

I’d vote “meh,” but there is no option.

  13. Bucky Says:

That was Bowles best coached game easily.

  14. Adam's Angry Says:

I have to admit… the tackling was A+ on Sunday. It was noticeable. No one was shedding the one-on-one blocks.

Special Teams was looking very, very good as well. Gunners were flying down the field and making FAST tackles.

BOTH of those were HUGE areas of concern for me last year. There has been a HUGE improvement in basic fundamentals… although one game a season does not make.

  15. Boss Says:

I voted little confidence. gonna take more than 1 week to erase the stinch.

  16. NashvilleBuc Says:

I believe Big Balls Bowles is gonna stick and even spread to media if he keeps it up. That’s some sold platinum alliteration right there Joe.

  17. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I seriously considered upgrading to little confidence…but then I remembered who he went with as Starting QB. He and Baker are tied together and I am not sold on Mayfield at all.

The defense certainly looks improved…but…I just can’t get past the lies of a fake QB competition. If he really had balls, he would have been honest and said, “barring a surge from Trask, Baker will be our starter.”

So far as Baker…good consistency will earn props from me…and that is a minimum of a month away.

  18. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Game one has a fresh players who are fired up and itching to prove themselves.

Game two it the excitement is far less with the players.

By Game three we’ll see whe the team really is.

By Game 5 or 6, I suspect we’ll know who Mayfield really is.

  19. Mike C Says:

I agree one win does not erase the bad, however it was the mentality he coached with in that game that has my confidence out of the basement.

  20. EternalSon Says:

    Cool to see people grow.

Even a 100 year old person can still learn and grow.

    Just stay in the game.

    BBB!!!!

    Go Bucs!!

  21. Tye Says:

More confidence in Dave Canales not being a ‘yes’ man to Bowels and doing what it takes to win!

  22. DoooshLaRue Says:

    🎶
Some balls are held for charity
    And some for fancy dress
But when they’re used for victory
They’re the balls that I like best
    🎵

  23. Don’t tell me it’s raining Says:

Buccaneer Bonzai, pregame you said “I think it’s possible Baker will start off with one good game. Then? Everything will start to fall apart. He has zero chance to succeed because he isn’t good enough.”

“I think it’s possible” is as ambiguous as you can be. If he loses you’re saying, see I said I thought it was possible but then again it’s possible monkeys could fly out of my butt. If he wins, see I told you he could win his first game because the Vikings are so bad. Weak dude, just weak.

Now it’s going to be “5 or 6” game before we know how bad he is? C’mon dude it’s time to buy some preparation H for that hurt butt of yours and get over it.

  24. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Don’t tell me it’s raining,

You might just be my new favorite in here!

Keep giving it hard to Hot Rod too…..

    He loves it
    He needs it
    He deserves it

  25. optimisticbucsfan Says:

This poll is the definition of recency bias.

That leopard can’t change his spots.

That dog is too old to learn new tricks.

He will revert back to normal bowles soon enough.

I will have the crow buffet ready to go.

  26. SlyPirate Says:

    optimisticbucsfan …

Last year was rough. Part of me is with you. Part of me is willing to give Todd a chance now that he has his players and his coaches. I saw complimentary football (O-D-ST) last week. There is reason for cautious optimism.

  27. captivajim Says:

we started 2-0 last yr . its early. has the old dog leaned from past mistakes ??? time will tell

  28. TBSwarm Says:

Game time coaching is one thing, but this team showed discipline last week, few penalties and good tackling. That shows good coaching throughout the week IMO

  29. Fred McNeil Says:

Maybe we will fall apart after winning our first two like last year, but I still want those two victories. Maybe we won’t fall apart and we will be glad we aren’t playing catch-up. I’m going to think positive as long as I can. Might get to ride the wave all the way to January.
