Always a great listen, I have no excuse for why I don’t listen to them all.
Good job gentlemen!

How did Baker have no chance in Carolina? He was named starter over a guy that was brought in to start.
Question, if Trask was drafted this year would you say Baker was your starter this year?
In other words, based on what Baker has done so far. ASSUMING, he has been here for his entire career. Would you go with Trask or Baker?
Now, same question for Winston.
Honestly, would you not go with Winston over Baker… And give Trask a shot over both?
I just don’t understand what is so hard about this situation to understand.

Why wouldn’t you always coach to win?

Ira you can’t give Baker a 2022 mulligan. It counts.
I get what you are saying that Bowles has a lot riding on this, but going all in on a guy that is turnover prone and struggles to push the ball downfield is a bad bet.
You’re saying its the lesser of two evils? Nobody knows what Trask can do right at this moment in this offense. We’ll get a better idea maybe after preseason games start. If Trask looks terrible and Mayfield looks good then I can understand this position. You go with the guy who is showing you more. But its way too soon to call it because there still much more to see. Mayfield simply hasn’t shown enough to be handed the job over a highly touted 2nd rounder. He’s got to earn it.
