Tristan Wirfs Was Stoked After The Win

Celebrated.
Now this is what you call a teammate.
Knowing how bummed out Bucs All-Pro right tackle Tristan Wirfs gets when he cannot play — he is still tortured he couldn’t play in the loss to the Rams in the playoffs — Jo ewould ordinarily not be surprised if Wirfs was holed up in his home watching “Game of Thrones” reruns nursing a bottle of a mass-produced domestic beer brewed in St. Louis.
(Joe has to turn Wirfs on to Bromosa.) Instead, Wirfs was at the game tonight while he is out for a few weeks with a high ankle sprain.
Joe was in the bowels of The Licht House taking video of the Bucs coming off the field and into the tunnel as they headed to their locker room. Then to Joe’s left, Joe heard a lot of commotion. Hooping and hollering and cussing, but in a good way.
Then Joe swung his phone to the left to catch the ruckus. It was Wirfs! He was high-fiving each of his teammates as they passed by, smile from ear to ear. Hell, Wirfs even bear-hugged Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht.
Wirfs was dropping eff bombs right and left, but in a good way. Joe’s cleaning some of it up here. Eff yeah! Effing-A! Way to effing go! Eff yeah!
Wirfs’ reaction was like the Bucs just won another NFC Championship game and he was part of it.
What a teammate! Joe wouldn’t have thought any less of Wirfs if he was sulking at home because of his injury. And Joe is confident none of his teammates would have either.
But no, there was Wirfs in the tunnel bouncing around like he recovered a game-winning fumble in the end zone.
That, friends, is the sign of a quality teammate.

I shut the game off with 8 minutes left in the 4Q after Brady got sacked.
AND MISSED THE GREATEST COME BACK IN BUCS HISTORY!!!!!!!!
Guess that’s what I get for giving up on them.

No Randall, the greatest comeback in Bucs history was against the Rams last year. Remember who screwed that Up? Let’s not forget who our coaches are yet
We can’t expect Brady to save us every week, but I will be surprised if he doesn’t.

They showed him on the broadcast picking up Brady as he was coming off the field and screaming “LFG” a few times.
