Tom Brady Is Popular In Federal Prison

December 31st, 2022

Jailbirds love him.

Who knew inmates liked Tom Brady so much?

In an absolutely fascinating story by Joe Kinsey of Outkick, he found three former federal convicts to offer details on who controls the TVs in prisons. One former con who built enough street cred while in the hole to regulate a TV in his federal prison claimed inmates loved to watch Brady.

On Saturday during the day, it was first come, first serve until after 9 o’clock count. Then it was college football. Sundays were for the NFL. The prison was in Pennsylvania so the Eagles were always on. I’m also an Eagles fan so I always put them on. If the Eagles weren’t on I didn’t care what game they wanted to watch. My friends were from the New England area so it would usually be the Patriots (or Tampa Bay because of Brady.)

This is just wild to Joe that inmates demand their fix of Brady on NFL Sundays. So cool.

(Joe told this to a Bucs fan friend of his yesterday and Joe’s friend shot back: “Yeah, the Bucs’ offense sucks so bad you have to be locked in a cage to watch it, like some form of torture.” Then Joe’s friend went on a rant about the Arizona game and failing Bucs offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich running at J.J. Watt.)

Another crazy nugget about this wild story? Honest American taxpayers are paying the NFL so convicts can watch the Red Zone Channel.

Joes — I gotta say, sometimes I should wear adult diapers before logging on to your site because you make an old man pi$$ his pants laughing quite often.

  2. SOEbuc Says:

And US has by far the largest incarceration population in the world. Maybe it was a “Club Fed” federal prison where white collar criminals due their time.

I’m confused as to why this even is worth reporting…
Must be a REALLY slow news day!

  5. Goatfarmer Says:

It’s funny. Better to laugh at humor than cry at the horrifying Bowels release all over the Buccaneers.

  6. CleanHouse Says:

I heard overtime in the group showers is good

  7. Goatfarmer Says:

They reduced shower time from 15 minutes to 10 minutes to reduce injury frequency, and severity.

If the Bucs do indeed make the playoffs, of course lose in the first round since Bowles and Leftwich suck, and Brady of course leaves next year… then we’re in the classic 2-decade rebuild.

I’m 47 now … and if it’s 15-years before we return to the playoffs, I’ll be an old man by then – well not compared to senile Joe Biden, compared to him I’ll be spry and subulant, but after this year, I could be in my 60s before this team again makes a playoff game. Well, Brady would be 60 as well in that case, and probably still playing.

  11. Rod Munch Says:

BTW, if Arians was coaching this team, they’d be 13-2 right now.

Loses would be to KC and 49ers.

Change my mind, explain how in each loss not having a vastly superior coach running the show wouldn’t have lead to a different result.

I’m saddened to know that when Brady leaves the Bucs will again become irrelevant.
It was good while it lasted……
We can go back to talking about draft picks and who will be our QB.

  13. NEfan Says:

TFor those not in a cage it’s more like driving by an accident, you don’t want to look but out of curiosity you do anyway to catch a.piece of the destruction.

  14. NEfan Says:

They like the way he can force it into tight windows.

I really enjoyed this story! Like another poster pointed out, the US has the most incarcerated people in the free world!

  16. Hodad Says:

Brady needs to star in his own remake of The Longest Yard! He could reprise Burt Reynolds old role.

  17. D-Rok Says:

Cool story, Joe. Thanks for digging up this nugget on our star QB. I’ll bet Brady is the most-watched QB in history, and we know how the German people feel about him. Isn’t Brady considered the most popular/famous American athlete in the world?

    Convicts are people, too.

Brady will have a bigly inmate fan soon.

  23. Dude Says:

And what is their favorite position in the US prison system? Tight end, of course (Sorry, I just had to)

  24. CleanHouse Says:

    maybe wide receiver?

4 right wing hate speech messages so far. If Joe doesn’t get rid of the political talk, this site will turn into a maggat heaven. Please Joes, just delete the right wing hate speech. This is supposed to be a site for sports. If this continues, we’re going to have to start asking the advertisers to go elsewhere. I’m just saying.

  26. orlbucfan Says:

Wow, Brady is popular with the incarcerated. Geez, Joes, where did you scrape that tidbit up? Half those folks shouldn’t be in jail. It’s the white collar rich POS who belong in their stead. But, that will be a cold day in h3ll.

  27. NEfan Says:

Ya free the looters, drug dealers and domestic violence offenders. Let’s make this country a free for all and see how gun violence soars. Oral with a name like yours, I figure you’d fare pretty well in an orange jump suit.

  28. Rayjay1122 Says:

So is soap on a rope. Happy New years everyone.

  29. Joe Says:

If not Brady surely that non-basketball association player in Cleveland is.
