Two Bucs Declared Out For Sunday
November 25th, 2022Todd Bowles gave an injury update today.
Not playing Sunday will be receiver Russell Gage (hamstring) and Luke Goedeke (foot), Bewles said.
As for Leonard Fournette (hip) and Vita Vea (foot), Todd Bowles said they did some things in practice but he needs to see more declaring them ready prior to the 11:30 a.m. Sunday deadline for setting the active roster against the Browns for the 1 o’clock kickoff.
Bowles said Vea’s injury was a “freak” thing that happened after the Bucs’ last game. “He woke up and it was sore,” Bowes saidl.
As for the Bucs’ Thanksgiving week preparation, “We didn’t cut any corners,” Bowles said, noting that nothing was skipped or cut back for holiday celebration.

Gage has been an utter disappointment. He only looked good because Ridley went nuts and they didn’t have Pitts or London yet. Need to trade him next year

Gage will be tough to trade ; he was signed to $30mil over 3 yrs with $20 mil guarranteed.. plus , he ‘s not shown that he’s worth the money & he may be a bit fragile.. he was a mistake..

Sometimes you hit on free agents and some times you miss. Right now Gage is a miss.
November 25th, 2022 at 4:13 pm
Gage will get healthy by playoffs and shut all of these negative Bucs fans up! He will be clutch in January/February
November 25th, 2022 at 4:13 pm
They should just put that china doll on IR and hope he’s ready to play if we need him in the playoffs.
November 25th, 2022 at 4:26 pm
It’s too bad about Goedeke I was so looking forward to see him fall flat on his arse again.
November 25th, 2022 at 4:26 pm
Oh thank goodness Leverett will be playing.
November 25th, 2022 at 4:50 pm
The only thing stopping Gage from pulling a hammy is a pulled hammy. Agree with he was a mistake.

Good news on Goedonkey.
November 25th, 2022 at 6:24 pm
Great news on Goedeke
November 25th, 2022 at 6:32 pm
Gage will be worth it if he shows up big in the playoffs….that’s if we can get there
November 25th, 2022 at 6:35 pm
Gage is the poor mans Kenny Gollady
November 25th, 2022 at 6:57 pm

He was the only kat out there on bumpy hammy.

Hamstrings take forever to heel and the guy played with a bad one when they needed him. Let it heel, he won’t disappoint.
November 25th, 2022 at 8:25 pm
We just need Lenny in that 2nd half.
November 25th, 2022 at 10:21 pm
Waking up sore? Vea is too young for that
November 25th, 2022 at 11:01 pm
Gage is out????
November 25th, 2022 at 11:36 pm
I know why Vea was sore!!!
Cuz remember after the game, he came back out and hung with the crowd with his shirt off bouncing around!! Remember that video that came out??
Hmmmm, sore foot from celebrating??
Was he crowd surfing or something, lol??

1988 – you are probably right!
Not too often a 360 pound dude gets to party like a rock star. That was so fun to see.
November 26th, 2022 at 2:08 am
You guys forget that he toughed it out on a bad leg and actually did ok. Hats off to Gage! Let him heal. We need him healthy for the stretch run. Especially if others go down.

Mein Got! I never liked the Gage signing. He’s always tweaking a hamstring. I don’t know if it’s his training regimen or his diet. Maybe he’s just one of those guys whose extremities can’t react to contact or avoiding it. If Vea could possibly torch his foot if he plays, keep him out.

no way put Scotty in he’s got a great jump catch
November 26th, 2022 at 7:41 am
Hats off to Gage??? What are u kidding me?
He’s a MASSIVE BUST. What a total embarrassment.
He should be scorned and laughed at for his boo boo keeping him out month after month.
How he can show his face to the rest of this team is beyond me. Go get a job at Walmart sissy boy. Football aint for you. Pathetic.
