Winston talked team-team-team, then tossed a grenade into the locker room. He now admits he was too banged up to start game two, but we know he was totally “put me in Coach” at the time. As far as Lee’s “interceptions don’t count”, just look at Winston’s 30-30 losing season…

Great podcast, Ira, Steve and Lee.
At about the 35-minute mark, Ira said sitting here at 5-5 with the way the Bucs played Seattle, that Bucs fans have lots of reasons for optimism.
This fan agrees. The whole season is still in front of the Bucs, and they look like they’ve improved and figured out a team identity: being physical.
Also enjoyed hearing that the Bucs’ coaches didn’t let their egos get in the way when Brady asked to have more competitive practices. Iron cannot sharpen iron during half-speeds and walk-throughs.
Thanks, guys, and as always, GO BUCS!!!

Hope yall do read this… blaming coaching and not players is off base. IOL all new playing poorly rushing Brady, and can’t run the ball. They got stuffed on a QB sneak for -2 yards. That’s not coaching. The players were getting ran thru and beat up.
Also, yall gotta put yourself in the mind of a coach. You call plays your team can run. If they can’t run it you don’t call it. If in practice the IOL can’t block sweeps or counters or tosses well, you don’t call em in the game. They can barely run straight ahead. At least that way it’s a gain of 1 instead of a loss of 10. They could run a full game plan cause Luke G was a liability.
The WR had no reps w Brady and the teams chemistry is off. Thats not coaching. The players are missing practice for tons of different reasons and didn’t practice much in the off season. Not as much as other teams.
In the NFL, if you not all in, you’ll get a rude wake up call. Blaming Leftwich for the players sucking is just off base completely. The offense averaged 31 last years. Leftwich didn’t wake up and forget how to run an offense. Cmon now.
Replacing Marpet was always supposed to be hard. And the OL matters. Ask the Chief’s in the superbowl. Bucs are plating some defensive powerhouses and DL which doesn’t match up well for the Bucs.
But… the team is bow getting better. They’re slowly growing and working thru it.. thats actually the definition of GOOD COACHING

It seems that the team was better offensively with Arians being the main leader on offense. Leftwich is a downgrade.

Ira, it kinda sounded like you were stepping back from what you thought a little. Arians didn’t p p slap you did he? It almost seemed like Arians gave you the “disappointed in you and the Joes” speech about how ole Lefty is doing everything right and running up the middle every first down is how you win a championship.

I don’t understand how you guys still have Ira and Lee with such awful audio. This is a great podcast but the audio issues have always been there. Ira needs the same setup as Steve… c’mon guys. It’s 2022.
C’mon, Max. Many thousands listen and Ira is clear. –Joe
