“O-2 At Home, That Sucks”

October 6th, 2022

Joe loves when Tom Brady gets to the point and keeps things candid.

He did that today at the One Buc Palace podium when addressing the past two weeks and the small cloud currently over our beloved Buccaneers.

“You know, [we’re] 0-2 at home. That sucks. You know, that’s the reality. There’s no excuses.” Brady said.

Hard to believe, but the Bucs actually have lost three in a row dating back to last year’s playoff game against the Rams.

There’s no way a Bucs team this talented can lose four straight at home. Right?

Kickoff at The Licht House is 1 o’clock on Sunday.

The Marcus Mariota-led Falcons, Sunday’s opponent, certainly are not the Rams, Packers and Chiefs, the teams that have dropped the Bucs in their past three home games.

Brady HAS TO SOMEWHAT DISTRACTED!!! No one can go through a divorce and not be distracted no matter how mentally tough you are. The Bucs issues are not his problem though. He can only control what he can control. It is up to ALL the coaches to make sure all the payers do their job. A fumble on the first paly of the game is unforgiveable. This was NOT the first mistake this player made. Either he scan do his job or replace him. Much better to start from the 25 yard line than to give it to your opponent on your own 25 yard line. Just sayin!!!

  2. Tampabaybucfan Says:

TBBF will be at the game…..

Hope it’s better than the 9-0 shutout I witnessed last year.

    GO BUCS!!!

    Bucs 34-20

  3. Listnfrmafar Says:

Commonplace for 2 time liser, Jets reject Todd Bowels. I can’t believe I am writing this, a part time BA maybe better than a full time ??? Bowels.

  4. Dooley Says:

Falcons don’t have to be any of those other teams considering we’ve seen in all 3 phases so far this season that we’ll make reductive plays that assists our opponent in beating us. Falcons are just another test, this is still the NFL, and every season the last 3 years we’ve lost games to teams we should be able to handle, as long as we’re executing without the mental errors and ball security issues.

  5. 2022 Fire the Cannons Says:

I still don’t like leftwich the game plan is boring uncreative and predictable he waits until the second half before he makes any kind of adjustment it’s amazing he still has a job and it’s no wonder he wasn’t hired as a head coach any place else after winning a super bowl like duh

  6. MONK Says:

I wish some folks would resist laziness and spell out who/what they’re talking about…..TBBF??? Give some of us “more to life than football” fans who follow the Bucs more clarity. Thanks.

  7. SB Says:

Ummmmmmmmmmm MONK, did you start drinking early today?
Clearly his moniker is TampaBayBucsFan so…….TBBF for short maybe.
He is just speaking about himself in the third person like the JOEs do.

  8. Craig Says:

So far it looks like the den of depression days are back, but it is early in the season.

No way that it will be like the old Jameis days of no home wins.

The Bucs do have to be careful with the Falcons, tough. They is a lot of fight in those little dogs.

  9. captivajim Says:

We need to set the tone EARLY in the game. Offense to score TD on 1st possession .Defense hopefully can hold dixie chix to 3 & out on their 1st possession ……

  10. #8 Says:

    #8SDEED

#8 starts drinking early every day

    My deed indeed

    Suh.

  11. Ed Says:

Stop with the fumbles. Defensive lineman need to play meaner. Leftwich has to catch up with the other coordinators in the league that know how to call a game.

First down with this team should be 50/50 run pass. I’m gonna look up league average ratio and if Bucs have a very high ratio of runs on first down, Leftwich needs to change that because the last few games first down runs were netting zero yards while the WR screens and throws to backs at least got positive yardage.

  12. Lamarcus Says:

We have to be honest. The whole league is mediocre at this point

  13. Ed Says:

Its official, only the LA Chargers, with an average of 64.5 YPG rushing are worse than the Bucs with 65 YPG average.

The majority of the teams average over 100 YPG.

If you can’t run the ball, be more creative and find a way to stay out of all of the 2nd/3rd and long situations. Every down is critical when you are running for 2 yards or less.

  14. MONK Says:

SB….I rest my case. TBBF does not “clearly” mean to me “TampaBayBucs Fan.
    Thanks for the clarity, though.

  15. Buc1987 Says:

TBBF you’re pissing people off lol

  16. Faspro Says:

As long as our defense doesn’t play flag football, we’ll be alright.

  17. Defense Rules Says:

We lost the last 3 games to (1) Rams – 2021 SB winner & perennial playoff contender with Matthew Stafford as their QB; (2) Packers – perennial playoff contender with Aaron Rodgers as their QB; and (3) Chiefs – 2019 SB winner & perennial playoff team with Patrick Mahomes as their QB.

Yes, a loss is a loss, but those were 3 very good teams. Losing at home to the Falcons would be a whole nuther story.

  18. Goatfarmer Says:

Packers are not good. Patriots had them dead to rights with a 3rd string QB and a chance to ice the game. It took the Bucs sloppiest game of the year to lose to them.

  19. Panhandle Buc Says:

Nothing worse sports wise than doing the walk of shame in your own stadium! Luckily I was on the good end of that in New Orleans and hope I keep that streak going on TNF in Tampa! Get it together!!

  20. Tony1775 Says:

JTS gets tossed like a baby.

  21. Buczilla Says:

If we lose to the falcons on Sunday, I’m going to start boning up for the 2023 draft.

  22. DrunkInYbor Says:

The ((GAME)) is the escape from life’s challenges. No excuses

  23. Defense Rules Says:

Goatfarmer … Packers may not be good in your eyes, and yet they’re 3-1. Same with the other team we lost to, the Chiefs. Same with the first team we beat, the Cowboys. So those 3 teams have a combined 9-3. Only the Saints have a losing record (1-3) and they always play us tough.

Things are never as good as they seem, nor as bad as they seem.

  24. DrunkInYbor Says:

My goodness. I hate to write this. This new generation of Buc fans are trash, nitwits. We are 2 and 2 with by far the best team in our division. With the BEST qb. ever ever ever guiding the ship. Yall are some spoiled whiny things. Stop whining and get some perspective. Go do some research on (your*) team.

  25. Kentucky Buc Says:

Is not being able to spell a prerequisite for being a troll ?

  26. unbelievable Says:

Getting awfully close to being the Den of Depression again, ain’t it?

  27. The Beer Whisperer Says:

It’s because, the Bucs ain’t that good.

it’s time to take an honest inventory.

  28. CleanHouse Says:

Not signing JPP and Suh is akin to getting rid of Lynch Brooks and Sapp. Not saying they are the Force the other guys were, but they were the heart and the glue in my opinion. The team got neutered by bad management. The team deserves what it gets.

  29. Buccos Says:

I agree with Cleanhouse and was about to say the same exact thing. I don’t know if JPP has played well for the Ravens but I guarantee he will be a force come playoff time. It seems little me a no brained to resign Suh before someone else does. Those were men out there. Not boys like JTS

  30. teacherman777 Says:

    @clean house

    You nailed it.

JPP and Suh transformed our defense after Happy GMC left.

We lost two legends. JPP is still a freak. And Suh still clogs lanes.

    I miss them both.
