How Bad Are The Bucs?

Brutal.
Are the Bucs now the worst team in the NFL? That sounds downright moronic to type, especially with a healthy Tom Brady, but the results are the results.
Last week the Bucs went to Pittsburgh to play the reeling one-win Steelers, a team with a defense missing 3/4 of their starting secondary, missing the best pass rusher in the league, and the Bucs never tested the Steelers’ pass defense, threw up all over themselves and lost a horrible game.
Today? As Dave Moore on the Buccaneers Radio Network said, the Stinking Panthers traded away 40 percent of their offense last week, fielding now what many believe is the worst team in the league in the midst of a firesale with a brand new interim coach, and they handed the Bucs their arses.
So what does that make the Bucs? The Bucs may have three wins, but right now as we creep to Halloween, there is no worse team in football.
And that’s with a roster full of Pro Bowl and Hall of Fame players.

It’d be ridiculous to fire Bowles and Leftwich only 7 weeks into the season with a 3-4 record.
But we all know it’s coming. This isn’t a blunder game. This is inexcusable. You don’t get blown out by a tanking team. You just don’t.

Bowles was rejected by what was it, 5 teams last post season for their head coaching jobs, but the Bucs went all in. To be fair its been a run of bad luck, injuries, getting a half retired Brady back in the offseason, but at the end of the day its on him.

Totally Embarrassing. It feels like they are playing for the 1st overall pick of next year’s draft. Right now, it feels like the bad old days of Leeman Bennett, Richard Williamson, Raheem Morris & Lovie Smith.
The Glazers & Jason Light have to look at this and admit a mistake was made in promoting Todd Bowles to Head Coach & that Byron Leftwich (without B.A.) is not an NFL offensive Coordinator. Both need to be fired immediately. Bruce Arians is still being paid Glazer money and they should insist that he earn that money as the Head Coach going forward for the balance of this season, promote Kevin Garver to Offensive Coordinator & have Tom Moore assist him for the balance of the season. After the Season look for a new Head Coach and reset the team for the future.
If they don’t do this then the season is over and we won’t even make the playoffs.

b41 so Trask plays and Evan’s makes the catch, Gage doesn’t stop running, Otton doesn’t fall down, Lenny doesn’t run like he has shat in his draws, Smith doesn’t jump offsides twice, D decides to stop the run and defend the pass against a 3rd string QB, 3 wr don’t rstop in the same area for a pass, Bowels doesn’t have a rookie cover their #1 wr or drop the sack KING to cover the same #1 WR. I’m surprised Vea didn’t get his shot at it. This team is poorly coached on all phases and once again the O started gaining ground once BL was out of the picture. Obviously you’re just another idiot that doesn’t know the game.

The team as a whole stinks. Coaches are allowing the on field product to come out to continue to play like sh*t and the players are just not making a difference with their effort executing and finishing plays. Bad football, from the top of the coaching tree to the bottom of the practice squad. Lamar Jackson is going to eat our defense alive. 7 games in, there’s nothing we’ve seen in that 7 week span of time to say the way Tampa has played, is exactly who they are and the big names don’t mean jack sh*t.

We are circling the bowl due to utter incompetence of coaching staff. Brady is even checked out. Beyond disgusting what has happened to this team as a whole. That’s on coaching. Fire them all and bring in the best HS coaches from area schools that can show a little enthusiasm and hold players accountable. Bowles looks like a mannequin standing on the sidelines. He wears a headset but I have rarely seen him using it.

I get your point but if I might respectfully disagree…perhaps on semantics.
The Bucs are “playing the worst football” in the league right now although Rodgers and the Pack are giving them a run for that title. But they are NOT the worst team, nor are the Pack.
The Buc’s play in a crappy division, still have the chance to get healthy, and begin a run that will peak at playoff time. The season is NOT over.
Although I fear our Defensive backfield. There is talent back there but it’s very fragile with all 3 of the “stars” unable to play a full season! Now with Winfield, clearly our best DB in concussion protocol who is left to clean up the messes left by missing Davis, SMB and pretty soon the fragile Dean will join them.

I am not saying they are diversity hires, but if you have fire dumpster head coach/DC and OC its a lot easier to fire them if they are white.

No heart, passion, urgency, accountability, leadership, creativity – Licht, Bowles, and Brady are the unholy triumvirate that shares the blame.
Licht for not recognizing what the O-line injuries really meant…or that the D-line is woefully unproductive..
Bowles for not setting the tone and getting through to either side of the ball…
Brady as he basically ‘owns’ the offense, has engaged in repeated ‘I am different than anyone else’ behaviour since coming back, and is not effectively motivating ANY of the offensive players.
The team is just going through the motions at this point, counting down until the end of the season – no way they make the playoffs. They aren’t winning the division – and no non-division winning team is coming out of the South.
Hope ‘loving the process’ is worth it Tom

I have never believed that Bryan had the brains to to an effective OC (let alone head coach!). Bowles, I had hi hopes that he’s actually learned something since coaching for the jets. He learned how to take everything that he learned and go back to just doing what he wants to do…

They can’t help it. They’re sold on a pile of lies, such as:
– Brady still is great (he’s not).
– Trask can’t be great because Florida has never produced a great NFL quarterback (oblivious to the fact that neither had Michigan before Tom Brady, or Southern Miss before Brett Favre, or Wyoming before Josh Allen, or Miami of Ohio before Ben Roethlisberger, etc.).
– Trask can’t be good because he didn’t go to FSU.
– Trask sucks because he just does (they have no actual facts as Trask has never taken a regular season NFL snap).
– Trask sucks despite having two good preseason games and posting a higher quarterback rating than both Gabbert and Brady in the last preseason game.
What it boils down to is that the haters have been invested in hating on Trask since he was drafted and therefore he MUST suck.
