One thing that has become very apparent to me this year is Brady’s ability to elevate players around him or lack there of. He still possesses the same physical ability he did most of his career. But he’s simultaneously playing timid and frustrated. Getting hit or sacked seems to get him off his rocker way easier this year. He’s channeling a type of alpha energy that sometimes feels negative. I wonder if the presence of Gronk gives him that mental edge where he starts to believe that he’s got everything he needs to dominate.
