Our beloved Buccaneers made a quick call to take their game-week operations to Miami and prepare to play — somewhere — against the Chiefs on Sunday.
It’s a massive undertaking when you consider Team Glazer offered to bring players’ families and pets along for the temporary relocation.
The Bucs will practice this afternoon, Todd Bowles said today, and he hopes everyone knows their families are safe so they can focus on football.
Devin White said it’s been super seamless, from film study being ready to everything else.
“I think it was a great transition. I don’t think it got nobody out of whack,” White said today.
Unfortunately, the Bucs have experience with local hurricanes changing plans.
Joe was glad to hear White sounding so confident about how things are going in South Florida.
Of course, Tom Brady doesn’t think any of this represents a reason to lose to the Chiefs. He’s right!

Lip service. NFL players are creatures of habit. Any deviation has the potential cause problems. I’m sure the team will try to make things as normal as possible, but scoffing at this like it’s no big deal just isn’t accurate

Always a chance that a change in schedule could be an issue. It is not a forgone conclusion that it will be or that just because Devin said many things appeared seamless for him that it was for every member of the team.

The ones who don’t believe Devin speaks his mind as bad says it how he sees it are probably the same that think Bruce Arians is one of the (FEW) Coaches who don’t either 🤯 those ones are silly and have a weird standard!
