Mike Evans is expected to play. Multiple starters may not.
Adam Schefter must sleep about as little as Joe does.
Just like clockwork: It’s the wee hours before a Bucs game halftime of the PAC12AfterDark game. Joe’s into his third Big Storm beer of the game (Joe has cash on USC — covering and the over) and Schefter has a Bucs’ injury update.
Mike Evans is expected to play despite a bad calf.. Julio Jones’ status is dicey; he will be a game-time decision after testing his bum knee in warmups.
Playoff Lenny should be good to go.
For the slimy Saints, Schefter’s sources say America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, is expected to start despite a back injury. Alvin Kamara is not expected to play.

Crack wise, I donāt care what anyone says, the Darden hate is all about the white receiver they want to see play on this team, despite the fact that receiver is absolutely terrible. If Scotty was here and literally hanging on by the single threat that represents his football talent, no one would hate Darden. Anyone who knows anything about football can see Darden is infinitely more talented than Scotty, itās not even close.

What about gage? Is smith def out? What about wifs?? This team is already a mess!! With tom bradys personal problems and his rapid weight loss, im scared he wont last 6 weeks. Also why not recall cyril grayson?? The guy played well when given the chance? Last but not least, why isnt jason licht thinking ahead and trading for some top tier olinemen? Trade a first round pick and a second round pick and some cash or whatever you have to do to protect tom. This is their last chance for a super bowl in who knows how long. They wont need those high draft picks when toms gone. It will be right back to how it used to be

Where can Joe find these examples? Joe hasn’t seen Darden do a damn thing in a game. Jaydon Mickens was much more of an effective return guy than Darden.
(To be fair, Scotty Miller hasn’t done anything as a return guy either and no, Joe was not squawking for Miller to return kicks.)

I watch UFC fights on ESPN + literally every Saturday night (have for a decade now) and sometimes during commercial breaks on Fight Night cards (not PPV) they will show a still screen of an ESPN figure right before going back on air (I.w. Scott Van Pelt or etc. etc.)ā¦.well one of those images they show is of Adam Schefter and his image has him talking on a phone w/ one phone in also in his free hand, BUT in the very bottom right corner it says āAdam Schefter: 1:17amā ššššš

This thing about Darden being a better player than Scotty is a joke. If playing scared, passive, n timid is considered a talent, then u are absolutely correct, Darden is infinitely more talented than Scotty. Scottyās never returned a kick or punt but pound for pound heās gotten open to make more big plays catching the ball than Darden ever has since becoming a Buc. JD doesnāt know how to get open because of his syrup type movements n lack of separation. Iām done with him as a return man n his lack of receiving abilities. I would now like to see Deven Thompkins or Kaylon Geiger fill that role. Case closed.

I imagine Miller will be active and they called up Geiger (suprising he was picked over Thompkins but they are the same player basically)
Smith is probably out but we shall see. If his arm is that bad I would rather have Wells with a TE helping. Itās not as if Smith hasnāt had his problems against the Saints

Crack…..not only was Riggins as old school as you get, he was state champion in the 100 for 2 years. Imagine the power he generated! Do a YouTube search on ‘Riggins block’ to see old school at its finest(and no complaining).

We need a great defense to show again! Control the clock and slow down the pass rush by running at least 45% of the plays!! Mix in play action passes!! Score first and maintain the lead! Win the turnover and penalty battles! Strong special teams performance too! Lastly PRAY the REFS don’t steal the win!!

Since Johnny Football turned out to be Johnny Foosball and we dodged a huge bullet there in drafting Mike Evans, can we give Mike his props as Mikey Football? The dude epitomizes what a Bucs football player is and should represent. All heart, hustle, class and PRODUCTION.

You guys know it’s all about what they show in practice. Haven’t we seen Scotty have a terrible last two years especially this off-season and preseason. Yes we have seen Scotty do some great things in this league but we’ve also seen him make some big drops lately. I don’t get into the this guy is more talented than than that guy stuff but it’s more of versatility thing and right now jd is more versatile than Scotty at the moment. I still believe in Scotty but I also believe in Darden but I do know if Darden doesn’t make a good impression soon he will be force to ride the pine and watch from the sidelines

T Hill is a bigger challenge to manage and defend than J Winston at this point.
He has torched the Bucs over the last few games.
Maybe heās not as good as he was then but man he wrecked the Bucs a few games.

Maniac is wrong about the āwhite guyā thing. I donāt care if heās green. He has proven to be reliable in games, most recently in the Rams comeback, catching the 4th down pass, a few others, and drawing double coverage so Mike could beat Ramsey one on one.
I donāt hate the DardOn, I just think he sucks out loud as the reincarnation of Dexter Jackson II. Thompkins has shown he can catch tough balls in games. If they donāt want Scotty instead of the DardOn, fine. Letās see Thompkins.
Enough of DardOn, whose best play against the Cowboys was turning a reverse tha should have gone for at least 10 yards into a 2 yard fall down. The man sucks at football games. Surely great in practice, and will be a major success at investment banking or whatever he studied in college. But he has sucked, sucks, will suck, and will have sucked in the games.

Crack, I hope you & others are correct about Darden but, thus far his play is indefensible. The next time Darden does anything that RESEMBLES an NFL player, will be the first.
Maniac leave race out, Darden is not good & Scooter is simply better by any metric! No one can point to a single play, pre or regular season, where Darden rightfully earns a roster spot.
