Antonio Brown Does Not Really Regret Quitting On Bucs (Or Raiders, Or Steelers)

August 12th, 2022

Former Bucs receiver Antonio Brown.

This is the sort of megalomaniac the Bucs dealt with for damn near a year and a half.

Furniture-tossing, V-card-forging, bicycle-throwing, feet-freezing, rock-throwing, quitting former Bucs receiver Antonio Brown took to social media yesterday and made a startling admission.

He does not really regret all the stunts he pulled in his final NFL years.

As we all know, Brown melted down with the Bucs against the Jets in January. He claimed he was too hurt to play but at halftime went wild in the locker room demanding more targets. When then-Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians told him to get in the game, Brown refused claiming he was hurt, though he never went to the trainers.

Arians told him to get his arse off his sideline and Brown then went topless and did jumping jacks in the end zone before running out of the tunnel into oblivion.

Joe will go to the grave believing the Bucs chances at a Super Bowl repeat went out the tunnel with Brown.

So yesterday Brown confessed he did have one huge regret. It didn’t involve the Bucs. Rather, Brown said his it’s that he never got to watch himself play live in person. He likened the idea of watching himself play football to watching the Beatles or Jesus Christ perform live at Red Rocks.

The Beatles, really? Joe thought the only people who worshipped that overblown top-40 band were beginning to fill up nursing homes in their boomer old age. C’mon Antonio, you can do better.

Or can he?

  1. OBVIOUS Says:

Buddy. I personally Don’t regret never seeing you embarrass yourself or my team ever again. I looked up the definition of “cutting your own throat” and Antonio Brown was right there in color. There was a reference to “despite your own face” on the same page and what do you know, Antonio, you had TWO pictures of yourself on the same page! And you should be proud because that’s a new record. And, you can pretty much see yourself doing just that Every Day if you open your eyes and just take a look. JAG OFF!

  2. Radsy Says:

Do yo dance AB, do yo dance

  3. Long John Says:

    This is one sick puppy.

  4. Bucs Win Says:

    F AB

  5. Bucs Win Says:

And your Beatles take is moronic.

  6. sasquatch Says:

Agreed, that’s a moronic Beatles take… but right on brand for Joe.

Funny thing on the subject of AB — there are still id10ts out on the JBFs who think AB should be back and that Arians was at fault. Frickin’ craziness.

  7. Netwalker Says:

On the Beatles Joe, you had to be there.

  8. DoooshLaRue Says:

Shame he wasn’t in that car with Anne Heche…….

  9. asdf Says:

our SB chances blew up only when Wirfs went down. his replacement was a turnstyle for the 1H

  10. Delusional Intelligence Says:

No Cornholio Clown, you aren’t even in the top dozen wide receivers of all time discussion. But you are the subject of some great memes. If the Joe’s permit it, click on my name for one JBF Style.

  11. CleanHouse Says:

Yeah sorry the Beatles are absolutely amazing- this just doesn’t even seem like a real quote. Jesus live at Red Rocks would be pretty epic.

  12. CleanHouse Says:

What the hell is wrong with you Doosh Larue- you’re lower than him, saying something like that

  13. Darin Says:

We’re saying the same to you. AB really Joe? You can do better. Or can you?

  14. BucUToo Says:

I’ve seen Jerry Rice, Tim Brown, Joey Galloway, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Keyshawn Johnson, just to name a few play. Antonio…you do not compare. So had you had the chance, it would have been forgettable.

  15. SufferingSince76 Says:

Sorry, Joe. The Beatles are hardly overrated.

Everyone knows Brown is a fool, except Brown.

  16. BucUToo Says:

Don’t worry AB, you aren’t missing much. You’d be laughing at you too.

  17. DG060 Says:

Wow the clown show continues for AB. That picture above is the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever seen. This moron doing jumping jacks in the end zone shirtless while the team is on the field.
This guy should be incredibly embarrassed for that stunt that killed his career and yet he seems proud of it. Bottom line is the guy is a quitter and a loser.

  18. dmatt Says:

Being that this narcissistic nut failed to admit regretting the aforementioned behaviors that lead up to destroying his career, he’s really saying if given an opportunity to play with another team, he’ll do these things again, or something worst. He’s really glorifying himself. A zebra doesn’t change its stripes.

  19. Biff Barker Says:

    Joe,

Please let this clown go away. Brown quit on our team and others. He is conceited beyond belief. In short, show me a bigger chump.

  20. dls5492 Says:

One day, he will regret it.

  21. SB~LV Says:

He’ll be toe tagged in Jackson Memorial any day now

  22. Uhmm Says:

Do you all understand that AB didn’t actually say this? It’s literally a meme that someone made about him. It’s completely satire. Not sure if AB is trolling or serious.

You all need to learn that everything you see on the internet isn’t true….

  23. Bowles4President Says:

I’m still feel like this is a prank. There is no way he compared watching himself play to seeing Jesus at Red Rocks… did he???

  24. Bowles4President Says:

This dude is making Kanye look humble

  25. Bowles4President Says:

    @Uhmm

That makes me feel better. It also seemed odd that AB would list his transgressions like that

  26. Razor Ramone Says:

The Beatles reference just didn’t sound right to me. His time line would be more Michael Jackson or maybe Prince. Next up for this poor fool, some lower level MMA thing then trying the CFL, finally sports memorabilia shows in Vegas. He was fun to watch though.

  27. Richard Says:

    Over the CLOWN act.

  28. Cobraboy Says:

    Dude is mental.

  29. GrafikDetail Says:

I saw this meme on Facebook and immediately knew it was a meme, not something AB actually said… I hope the Joes are just trolling and didn’t believe this was an actual quote like the gullible JBF commenters here, and🤦‍♂️ I liked the Mike Golic Jr. fake quote better 😂

  30. Mr. Editor Says:

If we give AB any more credit for the Bucs not making it to the championship, the legend in his own mind will only grow.

  31. Scooter Says:

The Beatles expanded on the work of their precursor ( Buddy Holly ) who died in a plane crash. Back then at Keg parties most of the time the rock and roll music being played was The Rolling Stones.

  32. Captain Oblivious Says:

Just watched the Burfict hit on AB. Wouldn’t be surprised if that brutal shot to his head changed AB. Not sure about the quotes attributed to him above, doesn’t even seem possible for AB to say those things.

I still see youth wearing T-shirts with the iconic Abbey Road cover picture. Beatles are almost universally considered to be the best combination ever of composers, musicians, and singers. I think the Joes are fans but are trying to be edgy.

  33. Rob Says:

This is a Kanye West quote someone spoofed as an internet joke and AB thought it was funny enough to repost. AB is a clown, but we shouldn’t get too worked up over this one.

  34. NashvilleBuc Says:

AB my dude, what you wrote doesn’t even fit the definition of regret. Look it up you ****ing idiot. I can’t WAIT to see you beat down, flat-broke and/or in jail. It is coming. Get your popcorn ready.

  35. Anonymous Says:

Joe I find your last comment about the Beatles and My generation to be very insulting. I know it’s become popular to put older folks down these days but but that doesn’t make it right. Please keep it to the Bucs football team. Thanks for all the Informative articles.

  36. garro Says:

Joe, I find your last comment about the Beatles to be Very insulting. I k own its become popular to bash the older generation but that doesn’t make it right. Thank you for all of your informative articles… but please keep it to Bucs football.

  37. View from 132 Says:

What an idiotic reference to the Beatles. I’m younger than the Boomers but you can hear their influence on hundreds of bands that followed. Whoever wrote this should never write publicly about music again. You are embarrassing yourself.

For that matter, don’t write about AB either. He’s a weirdo and he left. End of story.
