Germany Loves The Bucs
July 20th, 2022It seems ticket prices to watch the Bucs play in November in Munich are skyrocketing.
So if Bucs fans reading this here corner of the interwebs want to join their Deutschen Bucs’ fans and holler “Lass uns gehen Bucs!” It’s going to cost an arm and a leg the longer you wait to buy tickets.
And it may also cost you another piece of your anatomy that helps fill up your briefs.
Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk noted that tickets for the Seahawks-Bucs game in Munich went on sale yesterday, selling out immediately. On the secondary market, tickets are going for Super Bowl-like prices.
… fans quickly flooded Ticketmaster. Some fans posted on social media that they were getting messages saying as many as 2 million buyers were ahead of them in the queue to purchase tickets. The stadium has a capacity of about 75,000.
Face value ticket prices range from around $65 to around $165, but those tickets are already sold out, and resale prices are skyrocketing. Stubhub is currently listing the cheapest ticket available at $585 and the most expensive at $33,760.
Joe honestly doesn’t know what to advise Bucs fans here other than to bite the bullet on the Stubhub prices, or just make a vacation of it and see if you can get lucky finding someone with an extra ticket at the stadium or at the Marienplatz the day of the game. Hey, seeing the Bucs in Germany might be a once-in-a-lifetime thing
And look, if you can’t score a ticket, Joe guesses there are worse consolation prizes than sitting at a Munchen biergarten sucking down quarts of Warsteiner while watching the Bucs.

One thing is sure: You won’t get a ‘Warsteiner’ in Munich.

I m a Bucs fan in Greece. I have attended the London game at 2019 and also went at 2018 Seahawks vs Raiders game. Was on the ticket site an hour before, about half hour before a waiting room was created and i immediately entered. When the sale was open i was 624.187 in line to buy tickets and ofcourse i was not able to get them. There was something fishy in the sale cause i saw people posting photos of numbers like 2 million in line and that is crazy. Probably the resale platforms flooded the sale. With the prices that are now available in those platforms is cheaper for me to travel to Tampa and RayJay, unbelievable. Too bad i was really looking forward to watch our Bucs again.

I too woke up at 330, only to see 350,000 people ahead of me. There was no capchta and I believe a max of 6 tickets. This is a perfect scenario for bots. It is known that ticketmaster has their own bots to jack up prices on the secondary market. It should be illegal, but ohh well.

I’ve never missed a Bucs home game, including the 2019 debacle in London, so we had to plan the trip to Munich. Got five tickets, lower bowl, around the 15-20 yard line, at face value. It wasn’t easy. Had a high priority. Guess that helped somewhat.

I got two tickets via the Bucs season ticket presale, but I also got up at 3:30am to help a buddy who was hoping to get 7 tickets. (6 was the max you could buy)
He was in the queue before me and had 500,000+ ahead of him. When I joined, I had only 238,000+ ahead of me.
I suspect they were using ip addresses to steer more tickets to the locals.

Scalpers are finding a way to purchase multiple tickets early…..
It is logical to think that the Bucs are the attraction more than the Wilsonless Seahawks.

I will be in the Tampa Bay area on December 5, 2022 and would like to attend the Monday Night Football game. What is the best way to get 1 ticket, that is if the game isn’t already sold out?

If you go make sure to ship your luggage! The European trips have turned into a luggage nightmare.

Wow.
Well first, welcome to JoeBucsFan.com!
Hey, come on over to Tampa. Lots of folks from Europe do so. They make a vacation of it. Hang out on the beaches for a few days then catch a game.
Joe thinks it is cool he has readers from various international areas. Of course, folks from England, Germany and Israel are on here but in the last few days Joe has read comments from the Phillipines, Thailand and now Greece.
There was a guy who used to comment from China. Hope he is still around.

No, they weren’t. The queing number were assigned randomly. So if you waited in line for 30 minutes (like me) you could 580,000 (like me) while joinig via phone 5 minutes before the offical start could get you 77,000 (which fell 11,000 short to get tickets) \O/

Looking at that picture, I have to admit it. The way she handles her mugs is impressive.

Once spaceliners become practical, I think that Germany will be one of the first foreign countries to get a team.
