I just wanted to give a big thank you to Bill Currie Ford, and especially to Sean Sullivan! My Son just bought a brand new Ford Bronco at Bill Currie Ford, and was treated great by Sean Sullivan!

Which comes first: pass rush or DB effectiveness? OL proptection or great QB play?
I say the former.
I’d much prefer a solid DL pick that can get into the backfield @ #1, than a DB pick, or a solid OL pick @ #1 than a fancy-pants speedster.
Big Uglies make everything else happen.

Marty Lyons was the guy that was giving Jim Kelly “the business”, check out the video of that, very funny the way the ref describes it.

This was a quote about Trevor Penning:
“Don’t overthink it when you write him up. He’s got size, length, toughness, he’s smart, he works his tail off, and loves to play football. That is what you look for in a starting tackle.” — Executive for NFC team
Doesn’t that sound like Jason Licht talking? Penning is 6′ 7″, 330, and ran a 4.89 40. That might be too tall to play Guard (but maybe not), before he’d eventually take over for Dooosh’s favorite player at LT in a few years.

Ugh, I was instantly deflated when Ira (you’re the best!) chose Kyler Gordon with our first pick. A 4.52 40 is criminally slow for a first round corner. If he or McCreary (also slow 40 at 4.5) are there for us in round two then fine, but I’d be pitching a fit for Chris Olave if I had Licht’s ear. Great show!

1st round: TRAVIS JONES (DT Connecticut)
2nd round: COBY BRYANT (CB Cincinnati)
3rd round: COLE STRANGE (OL Chattanooga)
4th round: JOSH PASCHAL (DE Kentucky)
7th round: TRENT THOMPSON (S San Diego St)
7th round: LUCAS KRULL (TE Pitt)
That’s part of why they need to stop trading away their draft picks also because some of their needs they won’t be able to address until later on in the draft.

Tony: The Bucs filled a need by trading a 5th for a starting RG. I have no problem with that, as a matter of fact I think it was great.
