“We Will Take Anybody We Can Get Back”
March 15th, 2022Tom Brady may be the best sales manager in the NFL but that doesn’t mean he can’t use a showroom floor salesman to help him out.
Earlier today when Bucs Pro Bowl center Ryan Jensen spoke via Zoom, Jensen was asked if he is going to recruit Bucs’ free agents to try to get them back. Already cornerback Carlton Davis was inked to a new deal but there are several unsigned. The biggest to the offense are Playoff Lenny, and there’s Ndamukong Suh and Jordan Whitehead. (Joe assumes Brady has Rob Gronkowski covered.)
Jensen admitted, yeah, Brady wanted him to work on teammates.
“We will take anybody we can get back,” Jensen said. “Talking with Tom, it was like, ‘Hey, let’s try to get the band back together’ and go out and try to win football games and play football the right way.”
Jensen confessed that the news Brady would return “can sway some decisions,” and Joe wonders if that was a factor with Jensen given the timing of the announcement he would re-up with the Bucs.
Even with the chance the Bucs may lose more of their prized free agents, both Steve Smith and Cynthia Frelund of NFL Network said Monday that Bucs fans shouldn’t wig out.
Smith noted that Brady’s presence means the Bucs will get great value free agents, guys looking for prove-it contracts so they can make bank down the road. Smith also said players throughout the league know Brady raises teammates’ games.
Frelund put it simply, “Who doesn’t want to play for Tom Brady?”
Jensen this morning agreed.
“Tom is probably the greatest recruiter of all time.”

Jensen said Brady didn’t influence him, but then that’s what Jensen is supposed to say. Either way, it’s great that he’s back.

All you Brady back stabbers are singing a different toon now. Once he retired many basically said he was dead to you. Not only does this guy have to do BA’s and BL’s job, he also does Licht’s. Too bad he did play both ways Toilet Bowles could sure use the help.

Can we go ahead and say Brady is this years League MVP?!? Brady’s presence alone will bring in talent and cause some FAs to accept less to play with him. Who else can garner that type of reaction from professional nfl players? Very very few.

Ryan Jensen … ‘Tom is probably the greatest recruiter of all time.’
Dan Graziano … ‘Tom Brady the assistant GM strikes again!‘
And to think, Tom can play QB too. Multi-talented obviously.
So what percentage of the Bucs’ franchise do you think the Glazer boys offered him Joe to come back and play 1 more year for the Bucs?

They should’ve thrown some money at James white. Not sure he wanted to leave NE, but the bucs should’ve made it a tough decision

Just realized something: AFTER talking with Tom Brady, Ryan Jensen tells the press ‘We will take anybody we can get back’. Sure does sound like there’s a push there to get the 2021 band back together. Jensen’s other words … ‘play football the RIGHT WAY’ … say quite a lot IF you’re into reading between the lines.

It’s gonna be a fun season man.

Bring back Lenny on a reasonable 2yr deal, and draft Borghi out of wsu. He is an excellent receiving back, with potential to be a solid starter down the road.

We Signed Russell Gage

Nice try once again, Listnfrmafar. Once again, no cigar. Every poster on this site knows what you’ve said in the past. Any cred you may have had is gone.

Bird, not true, I said I wanted to see what Bucs do with their FA’s and what Bucs do for QB. Obviously Brady changed things. If any of you don’t believe BA had to make some concessions to bring TB12 back you are very naive. I am so excited, we’re going to have a GREAT season together. 🤗

Marine Buc Says:

—————————–
Where’s LVD on your list? He’s younger than Suh.
March 15th, 2022 at 3:02 pm
Suh. He is the most important FA and JPP close second. Fournette third.
March 15th, 2022 at 3:42 pm
Looks like Whitehead is going to the Jets. Bummer. Secondary is still our biggest weakness.
March 15th, 2022 at 3:51 pm
Coach Bowles is the best defensive coordinator that we have had since Monte Kiffin and there was no one else even close. Yes something went terribly wrong on the last play against the Rams but considering the amount of injuries that Bowles had to overcome throughout the course of the season, he did a remarkable job. He certainly doesn’t deserve to be disrespected in the manner that certain lowlife Pats fans have done on here. If you want to go through this season with us “together “ as you say you might want to drop the insulting moniker. Bowles is deserving of a HC position and we are lucky to have him for another year.

Bird is right. Listfrmafar is a big old bitch
March 15th, 2022 at 6:13 pm
Birdturd, you’re just like Bucs wish it was 1987, spew a bunch of meaningless crap. If Gronk doesn’t sign there’s something coming down the road.

crazy thought here–see if Colts might be interested in Kyle Trask for a couple 2nd round picks. Would think their qb situation might be getting desperate.
