The men who turned around the NFC’s fire hydrant in a dog park into one of the elite teams in the NFL and a Super Bowl champion, Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht and Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians, reacted to today’s major news that Tom Brady is fed up already with retirement and will come back and play for the Bucs.

NEWSFLASH:
This team isn’t going anywhere with the same Defense, even if they’re all healthy.
Please please please let some other team sign Davis. And please let the Bucs throw in SMB & Dean as free bonuses.
Unless we upgrade our corners and add a little pass rush help, this team is not even getting back to the NFC Championship.
Our Defense is WEAKSAUCE. Everyone overhyped the “Gravediggers” after they beat up on a hurt Packers O-Line and then a hurt Chiefs O-Line.
As evidenced against the Rams, they didn’t do squat against Noteboom. And the defensive backs got lit up all game until we had some miracle turnovers almost make a comeback.
If 2 of the 3 (Davis, SMB, Dean) start this season THE SEASON IS ALREADY OVER.

The starting corners against a hurt Packers and hurt Chiefs O-Lines. That allowed our pass rush to absolutely dominated those games and our coverage didn’t have to stand on its own and yet Davis still got burned for a 50+ yarder against the Packers.
So yeah, those “starters.” The same ones got TORCHED in every game they were healthy in last season – so can’t even use injuries as an excuse.

Anyone coming in with downer crap (weaksauce defense etc) on this day is a truly miserable curmudgeon.
And to suggest getting rid of the entire starting CB group – without naming a reload solution that also considers the salary cap – when the Bucs have gone 29-10 with five playoff wins and a Lombardi trophy – with a top 10 defense – that person right there must be a Pasco County genius.
