Bruce Arians Is The Buccaneers’ 2022 Ring Of Honor Inductee
March 31st, 2022Buccaneers owner Joel Glazer made it official today.
Bucco Bruce Arians will enter the Buccaneers Ring of Honor this season.
Smart. Appropriate. Well deserved.
It’s going to be one hell of a party, Coach!
March 31st, 2022 at 1:09 pm
Next year will be Alex Guerrero, cause he did more for the team the last two years then the past part time head coach.
March 31st, 2022 at 1:10 pm
Not trying to be a downer here but I wonder if they are doing the induction this year because he does have health issues and may not be around multiple years? Hope he is fine and it’s just a nice gesture.

Love Arians but…Wilder, Nickerson?? forgotten..
March 31st, 2022 at 1:13 pm
And Proud Butt Fan aka Listnfrmafar aka RPK aka ben green aka Robert has once again stated the same thing. We are so much better for it.
March 31st, 2022 at 1:16 pm
Good! He sure deserves it!
March 31st, 2022 at 1:22 pm
Best coach in Bucs history…. I’ve seen them all too
March 31st, 2022 at 1:24 pm
Great!
March 31st, 2022 at 1:24 pm
I hear you Bruce but in my view people who did something to help the team win a Super Bowl should go in before others. I suspect that barring a bizarre injury that Fournette will end his contract as the greatest Bucs RB of all time and as such, should go in before Wilder.

Wish all the best to BA, however I don’t buy into all this Brady and BA feud. I hate to speculate but BA had two bouts of cancer and I would not doubt it if his reasoning to leave is due to health.
March 31st, 2022 at 1:26 pm
Here’s hoping all is well.
March 31st, 2022 at 1:28 pm
They look like they are trying to smoothe things over with him.
March 31st, 2022 at 1:31 pm
rome…i don’t live in speculation, Wilder’s long past due
March 31st, 2022 at 1:36 pm
Tossing BA a bone while he’s licking his paws with tail tucked in
March 31st, 2022 at 1:36 pm
This should be the next episode of when “When keeping it real goes wrong”
March 31st, 2022 at 1:39 pm
What about James Wilder … a shameful disrespect to James Wilder and Buccaneer football!
March 31st, 2022 at 1:43 pm
I agree with D Rome. Happy to put in our Superbowl winning coach now. See no disrespect to doing that.
But people find disrespect in the littlest of things these days.
March 31st, 2022 at 1:46 pm
FANTASTIC!!!
Simply a no brainer!
LFG!!!!!
March 31st, 2022 at 1:52 pm
No waiting!
March 31st, 2022 at 1:52 pm
We got some idiot fans. So I guess patriots wouldn’t resign Brady because he was trash in his last year and last throw was a pick 6 just like Winston. He lost his last playoff game in NE because even the great TB needs weapons that’s why he came.
Brady will go in just like Evans and Godwin. Outsiders with an outsiders mentality with the logic that the owners of the team HAD to put BA in their ring of honor lol that’s brilliant
Wilder and knickerson didn’t do more than BA and a free agent may not be a high priority for the Glazers. I would love to see wilder get in though just not before BA lol Ali Marpet may get in before wilder

Good move by the Bucs….but something definitely feels off that only 1 of the Bucs superbowl winning coaches will be in the ring of honor.
The move to boot Gruden from the ring of honor for decade old emails was impulsive when the whole story wouldve blown over if they had waited a month.
March 31st, 2022 at 2:24 pm
@tbbucs3,
Gruden had said a lot of nasty things about the owners. That came out in those emails too.
You forgot about that?
March 31st, 2022 at 2:37 pm
Iambchop
So what? If he said anything about the Glazers then I would understand but he didn’t.
March 31st, 2022 at 2:40 pm
Anyone who describes Arians as “quitting on his team”…….a man in his late 60s with health problems, giving 3 years……really?……how ridiculously ignorant.
March 31st, 2022 at 2:43 pm
This is well-deserved.
Nobody should have the moniker “Proud Bucs Fan” and spew the anti-Buc garbage coming from their mouths. You should change your name to “I only watch the Bucs for Tom Brady.”
I’m betting that’s how long you’ve been a ‘fan’.
March 31st, 2022 at 2:47 pm
So TBBF if a 45 year old QB retires or a WR that’s told to get the f out you’re off the team is quitting but a HC that went through free agency, the NFL meeting as the Bucs HC where Bowles should have attended in his place just up and retires is NOT quitting? Sounds like you have a double standard issue. I didn’t know the Bucs had a poser award in their Ring of Honor.

LaMarcus and his intuition is back!
Remember this one:
LaMarcus Says:
March 19th, 2020 at 10:45 am
It’s a Tampa Bay thing. Land of Bust. Even Brady is gonna look trash here
March 31st, 2022 at 3:00 pm
I guess Brady was a quitter too
March 31st, 2022 at 4:47 pm
Well I guess this was part of the payoff… Bruce keeps his mouth shut, plays ball… Gets payed and put in the ring of honor… Major power play by Brady!
March 31st, 2022 at 5:20 pm
On another article in the past week, someone asked if Brady was a ring of honor worthy player. The doubt of that question seemed to be whether two or three seasons was enough. I think we have that answer now, if there was any doubt in the first place.

I’ll toast to a fantastic coach who has positively impacted the lives of many while helping advance the cause of minority and female coaching candidates. I love it. Thanks Coach B.A. — Forever grateful.
March 31st, 2022 at 7:10 pm
This whole saga was played out like an episode from “ Days of our lives”….. Tommy quit and got what he wanted , the old coached kicked upstairs ! The timing of each move is charming and humorous ! Giving BA a spot in the Ring was prearranged as well as the rest of this drama ! So be it…. Now get us another Ring !
March 31st, 2022 at 7:23 pm
@Dlavid
Spot on. Anyone that thinks this isn’t the case should pull their head out of their ass!!!

James Wilder should be the next ROH member, In 2023 BA can get his name on the wall. Wilder should have gone in before several of those already in the Ring of Honor. Wilder was the entire Offence for several years during his playing days. As a Buc fan since 1975 when we moved To Pinellas point in Saint Petersburg, (“home of the newlywed or nearly dead”) I have seen a lot of players come and go in Tampa. Wilder is still a highlight reel all his own. BA is deserving no doubt. But more so than Wilder I think not.
