Fresh Tom Brady drama — from Brady himself.
Drama king Tom Brady was at it again this weekend, firing up everyone who yearns for The Goat to play one more season.
Retired (?) Brady was in England with his sons taking in a Manchester United game yesterday, presumably with free tickets from Team Glazer, owners of the popular soccer empire.
After the game, Brady was on the field chatting with legendary goal scorer Cristiano Ronaldo, another age-defying star at 37 years old.
Ronaldo is seen/heard on video circulating via social media, including on a Brady platform, asking Brady, “You’re finished, right?” Brady’s response is a wince, a glance away and an inaudible response.
So maybe that means Brady wants to play another season?
Maybe he was there to work out a deal with Team Glazer — to play with the Bucs or with another team? Maybe Brady and Ronaldo were not referring to football?
Joe is not losing sleep over Brady. The Bucs hold his rights and Joe has no doubt Tampa Bay management would cater to him completely if he wants to play again or, rather, if his wife lets him play in 2022. Joe likes the Bucs’ chances if Brady decides to play.

I’d rather he come back than not, but I won’t be losing any sleep over it either. I’m excited to see if Trask can be our first drafted quarterback ever to be better than average.

@Steele – he was asked if he’s done and he replies with “ehh… we’ll see”. I’m not sure what else you’d need to see short of him saying “yes I want to play again”

Can people be any more delusional thinking Watson would instantly make a team the best in the NFC south…. His team was one of the worst of The AFC South of all division… the AFC South!!!
Baker Mayfield would be intriguing if nothing else…
The Best the Bucs can hope for is Trask is similar to Joe Burrows and gets to keep all their draft picks to fill in the gaps for a successful season…

Maybe he just doesn’t want to go through all the camps in the off season, and so he got with the team and told them that, so together they hatched this plan to claim he was retiring…but in the 11th hour he shows up at training camp?

I would prefer Baker Mayfield over Watson…who will likely get a year suspension which will result in 2 years of not playing. That worked great for Michael Vick.
Mayfield isn’t the perfect choice though…picks and fumbles are part of the package…right?

People calling for Lance are just out right showing their bias… A qb that has little experience as a college qb over one that put mad stats against an all SEC schedule and nearly beat Bama in a high scoring game…
Now I am not one sold on Trask but to think Lance with hardly any college qb experience is somehow a better option is just going by looks!

Professional football use to be played by tough SOB’s who said what was on their mind. Now all we get is a bunch of drama queens who need the spot light on them 24/7. Brady, Roger’s, Wilson, Watson, Murray, Cousin’s……….Feels like I’m watching a Soap Opera show rather than the NFL. Next year instead of voting for MVP we should vote for BDQ (Biggest Drama Queen). I guarantee the voting will be very close with so many worthy candidates.

Since the IG announcement he has only done three public events, Jim Grey end of season podcast never say never, the Fred Couples take it day by day not looking into the future, and the onfield Renaldo IG story where he’s ask if he’s finished and mumbles something and winces.
Every other story is about every media, scout, current teammate, TV personality, former Michigan players, former New England Patriots, relatives, Brady camp insiders etc, there is a daily segment on Rich Eisen show where every football related guest is asked what they know or feel Brady will do.
The only non Brady source to watch is Gronk, if Gronks signs anywhere but Tampa or Raiders or 49ers Tom isn’t returning.
Gronk knows what’s is happening, if Gronk sit out and waits, he’s waiting on Tom, if he signs with Cinci or Buffalo no way Tom returns.
