Would Aaron Rodgers Even Want To Play For Tom Brady’s Team?

February 2nd, 2022

“Look man, I want to create my own scene, OK?”

Interesting thought process on who may succeed Tom Brady as the next Bucs quarterback from a veteran of overnight sports radio.

Driving home after the Bucs’ loss to the Rams last week, after writing many stories, Joe was listening to veteran national sports radio host “J.T. the Brick” on Mad Dog Radio, heard exclusively on SiriusXM Radio. A caller suggested to J.T. the Brick that if disgruntled drama queen Aaron Rodgers really wanted to win a Super Bowl, he would go to Tampa Bay if Brady retired.

Yesterday, Brady retired.

J.T. the Brick was shocked anyone would even think of this.

“Why would he want to do that,” J.T. the Brick barked. “Why would Aaron Rodgers want to go to Tampa and play in Brady’s shadow? Everything he would do would be compared to Brady. If he doesn’t win a Super Bowl, he will be considered a failure. Why would he want to follow Tom Brady?”

Joe thought that was a helluva point. Any quarterback, no matter how good he is, that succeeds Brady will be compared to him. There is no way around it.

Fair or unfair, every Bucs quarterback for the next 10-20 years will be compared to Brady. That’s just human nature.

Remember every linebacker the Bucs signed or drafted, fair or unfair, was compared to Derrick Brooks (until Lavonte David established himself)? A good chunk of Bucs fans ran Gerald McCoy out of town because he wasn’t Warren Sapp and wasn’t ornery enough for them on the field (like Sapp), never mind all the Pro Bowls he made.

(Joe finds it more than interesting that fans went wild when GMC would help guys off the ground. They were fully outraged he just didn’t stomp on their hands. But Tristan Wirfs helps guys off the field and it’s all cool. Strange, no?)

Will any veteran quarterback want to come to Tampa knowing that short of winning the Super Bowl, fans will be all over him because he doesn’t play at Brady’s level and will be considered a failure unless the Bucs win it all?

  1. Anonymous Says:

    No and neither would Wilson.

  2. Kalind Says:

The counter point here is that TB is desperate and if we were to land Rodgers I don’t see fans whining that the reigning MVP only got us deep into the playoffs for several years. Obv there’ll be a few clowns…but there’s folks calling for Trask to start. So we know there’s dopes out there. I just don’t think their legion

  3. Gunnin4Ya Says:

Comment was made specific to Rodgers. No he likely would not. As good as gone to Denver.

But yes, QB’ s would absolutely play here even right now, making $30mm+ in a no state income tax state…yeah for 10-12 years in their career, with Evans and others for another 5+ years yeah. But yes, on money alone.

  4. Wesley Says:

    No and neither would Wilson.

  5. Upstate NY BUC Says:

I’m sure Rodgers watched our wonderful defense lose to the Rams… he don’t want any part of that!!! Playing great all season and then one stupid call by Bowles ruined the whole season….

  6. Perimeter Blocker Says:

So be it! I want a QB with a strong mental fortitude. As crazy as it may sound… I want our next QB to think he could top Brady…

  7. Cleanhouse Says:

Let Aaron Rogers come here and win back to back Super Bowls- it’s the only way he can repair his legacy and be in a conversation as a greatest qb

  8. Cleanhouse Says:

    Bring Davante Adams

  9. BillyBobBubbaBoBagins Says:

J.T. I guess forgot that Rogers took over a Bret Farve team just fine

  10. Jon Juergensen Says:

Brady would have stayed had he thought the Bucs could win next year. Rodgers knows that and ain’t coming.

  11. John Sinclear Says:

“As good as gone to Denver” And, Denver is now for sale, so – As good as gone to London! Wonder if Rodgers likes tea?

As to Trask, if the Bucs don’t want to play him, why did they draft him so high? They must know something we don’t.

  12. Buddhaboy19 Says:

Good thing about Jimmy GQ is that he is used to being compared to Brady

  13. Jon Juergensen Says:

Let me guess. All you Trask haters were thrilled when the Bucs drafted interception-machine Jameis Winston with pick 1 in round 1, right?

  14. Pewter Power Says:

This is not Brady’s team. Ab is gone, gronk may be gone. Besides Lenny everyone else was already here. Brady won a super bowl but if rodgers won multiple championships no one is talking about Brady as great as he was we’d move on to the 22 season not live in the glory year lol

  15. D-Rome Says:

Will any veteran quarterback want to come to Tampa knowing that short of winning the Super Bowl, fans will be all over him because he doesn’t play at Brady’s level and will be considered a failure unless the Bucs win it all?

I think Bucs fans are smarter than that.

    I think.

The reality is that it’s very difficult to construct a Super Bowl roster *and* stay healthy for 17 games. I want a Super Bowl every year but all I really ask for as a Bucs fan is to be competitive year in and year out. There’s no reason why with proper leadership this franchise can’t be like the Steelers or Patriots especially now that Malcolm’s sons, the coaching staff, the rookies, and the veterans have all had a taste of winning.

  16. tampabayallday Says:

Like he’s not already compared to TB12, if Rodgers wants to win we then we are a good option.

  17. Lamarcus Says:

What top level QB wants to play behind Brady?? Dumb career move. Get the Wilson’s and Carr’s and Rogers fantasy out of equation

  18. tampabayallday Says:

If we can reload on defense and add more key and effective players to be able to stop teams like the Rams then we have a good chance to take Rodgers past the NFC championship

  19. zzbucs Says:

    0 chance, Cero…Zero ….None

  20. Oneilbuc Says:

Rogers ain’t coming here where are they going to get the money from?? Yall talked bad about Jamies so now it’s to see if the bucs can develop our own quarterback or was Jamies and the other quarterbacks the bucs drafted it was all of their fault!!

  21. Jeff Says:

The Science denier is NOT coming to Tampa. He goes to SF and they win the SB.

  22. Craig Says:

I doubt it, but if it happens I would stop going to games. I want to see a team with values that commute to the public. No Rodgers or Watson, please.

  23. DBS Says:

He is a proven choke artist in the playoffs. Do not want him here.

  24. Aaron Says:

GB won’t trade him to an NFC team – so I guess we are talking 2023.

  25. sasquatch Says:

Let’s stop this. Aaron Rodgers is not coming here. I don’t see why it makes sense to give up draft picks and take on a salary we can’t pay without crippling our ability to pay other guys, for a QB who loses in the playoffs every year. Plus, he’s an arrogant d!ck.

  26. Steven007 Says:

Upstate, Rodgers also watched his wonderful defense lose in consecutive years, including to these very Bucs. So I don’t think that factors into it at all. That said, he’s almost certainly going to Denver not here. And frankly we can’t afford him. The man has never taken a discount, aside from his discount double check.

  27. sasquatch Says:

And he’s a vaccine refusing liar who thinks “he did his research.” hahahaha

  28. Jonny Says:

I don’t think Rodgers would be keen to play for the Broncos either. Having to go against Mahomes and Herbert 4 times every season is a tall task. The one attractive thing about Bucs is they playing the NFC South. But overall, Rodgers is better off playing at GB until his contract ends.

  29. zzbucs Says:

Packers WON¨T trade Rodgers to a same conference team, forget it……

  30. Pewter Power Says:

49ers keep beating rodgers why would they want him? IF he leaves he’ll go to the afc which is loaded with young quarterbacks and continue his losing postseason streak

  31. SKBucsFan Says:

A QB may think that. However , a 3 time MVP may have an ego big enough to not care who was there before him and just wants to win a superbowl. Of all the teams in need of a QB the Bucs are one that is capable of getting back to the big game.
With that said I don’t want toTrade for one. Give Trask a year, have a good draft and worry about signing AR next year when he is a free agent if necessary.

  32. Buc4evr Says:

Rodgers wants to go wherever he has the best chance of winning a Super Bowl. After the first snap of the season, Brady is old news. Tampa Bay has too many positives to pass up. If the Bucs can do a deal with GB, Rodgers would be the best choice for this offense.

  33. mark2001 Says:

LOL…. Adams will likely be franchised tagged. And on top of all the other good points made by Joe and the other posters on this, AR will demand much more in salary than Brady ever did. So stop smoking the pipe and let your head clear for a few days. Than think about it again.

  34. SOEbuc Says:

I thought we were trying to win in the postseason???

  35. sasquatch Says:

Let’s not forget the draft picks we’d have to give up.

What about the others needs we have? It is absolutely essential that we get some young players on the DL, another CB, WR3, TE, probably a developmental and backup ILB, and RB. We desperately need our draft picks AND we don’t have the cap space to take on Rodgers salary while also taking on free agent salaries to buy capable players at other positions of need.

  36. Cleanhouse Says:

Haha- that last post made me want to hit my bowl, think I’ll pack it up- thanks mark great suggestion

  37. adam from ny Says:

if sh!t really hits the fan here at the qb spot……………….

you know what i might actually do as a one year project…

    get ready for this one…omg…

start ryan griffin…give him the one year shot…

    omg i just said that…yes i did…

move on from gabbert…trask is back up…bring in another qb who can almost immediately leapfrog trask if necessary…

yes this is a crazy scenario…but one to consider if you don’t care about ticket sales lol

  38. Lesco_Brandon Says:

Jason Licht is a genius. He can shuffle anything like a deck of cards. He can land Aaron Rodgers here in Tampa. Happy days will continue. GO BUCS!!!

  39. adam from ny Says:

or get aaron rodgers, wilson or carr in here fast

  40. adam from ny Says:

we’re entitled to at least one a crap season after the goat departs…

people can accept it i think…

  41. Howard Cosell Says:

The ONLY hope the Glazers have of maintaining the teams awesome momentum for the last two years is to sign AR12 ro replace TB12.
Rodgers is the ONLY candidate that can compete with or even improve upon his successor.

Howard thinks BA and AR12 would be a perfect fit, Rodgers being slightly less buttoned-up than Brady.
Again this is a case where Howard hated swarmy, smirky Rodgers on the Packers but would worship him like an Anunnaki on the Bucs.
Ironically, they both bear the ancient number of 12 which is obviously a sign.

Good luck Glazers. This is your mission should you chose to accept it.

  42. HeyItsAdam Says:

“A good chunk of Bucs fans ran Gerald McCoy out of town because he wasn’t Warren Sapp and wasn’t ornery enough for them on the field (like Sapp), never mind all the Pro Bowls he made.”

No, we wanted GMC gone because while he was a nice guy, he disappeared in games. While the stats were nice for those who didn’t WATCH Bucs football, the end result was purely average. I can name games that Suh took over. I can name games that Vea took over. I can name a ton of games that Sapp took over…. I can’t name one game – one – where I can honestly say McCoy put the D on his back and went CRAZY. Not once did it happen.

I think McCoy’s resume since leaving the Bucs speaks volumes about who he was as a player. He was good FOR THE BUCS. He was our Evan Longoria. He was not a star or a game changer.

  43. Howard Cosell Says:

Get Rodgers or sell the team

  44. Howard Cosell Says:

Please not Carr. The last thing this team needs is more West-coast softness. Wilson is not the guy. Only Rodgers

  45. David Says:

A-Aron…. A resounding no. He is a horrific leader. He is arrogant and throws everyone around him under the bus. A coach of his once said (paraphrasing) there’s never been a mistake in Green Bay that he can’t find someone else to blame.

He’s a great athlete with a great arm, he’s not a great quarterback.

  46. ClodHopper Says:

Rodgers also hates the turf at Ray Jay. I don’t think he wants to play there 8-11 times a year.

  47. DBS Says:

Get Rodgers and know you will get knocked out of the playoffs.

  48. adam from ny Says:

jameis as a stop gap on a well paid 2 year contract…

then toss him out again when things begin to take shape???

yeah this is awkward and weird for all parties…but just a thought

  49. crazyBucs_CL Says:

Reading JL comments from yesterday’s interview, bringing Rodgers or any high rated/price QB in the market, make no sense.
So, this year is going to be with some middle rage QB, just one year deal, drafting two-three good players; shaking the roster with two-three long term signing; letting the rest go; shaping the salary-cap for next year.
This is what I understand from JL analysis and evaluation of Trask.
So soon(next year), we may have a franchise QB for the first time ever…. wow..we are a messy organization with two SB. Go figured!!!!

  50. adam from ny Says:

i think you can lure him back home with decent money…

he’s been wanting good money for a few years now and hasn’t gotten it…

a 2 year fairly well paid deal might drag him back…but only as a stop gap…unless he learned something while away

  51. adam from ny Says:

we’re actually in a huge qb quandary now…

    wow this happened fast

    #QbQuandaries

  52. voice of reason Says:

    no interest in Kaaron Rodgers

  53. Bird Says:

I think he wants to win more super bowls period for his legacy

And its tom bradys team he would do it with here?
    Cmon now
    If
Gronk and lenny stay then sure there is brady players he got to committ

I know people are saying well he will go to broncos. Or whatever.
Check out the afc teams with young stud qbs. Its quite scary

Now look at nfc ..if he left green bay, they would be a nobody. 49ers going to second year qb who has good chance of being bust.

Sure you got the rams. But look elsewhere? Cards – ehh? Cowboys sure once payton goes there. Rest of nfc is blah. Look at bucs division. So much easier route now with payton gone.

And i keep hearing packers wont send to nfc. Rodgers is such a prick he could say he is sitting out then if he really wants out. He could play hardball for sure and as long as a willing team gives compensation to team he is interested in …it could happen. Again i think he stays in green bay . But i also thought brady would be a lifer in NE.

  54. crazyBucs_CL Says:

    The “wait time” clock will start again for Bucs Fans….yeah “always is the next year”; or next draft (start talking October-November time frame);
.. so Bucs will be happy with a 8-9 or 9-8 season, I guess we should too.

  55. PassingThru Says:

I doubt Rodgers will sign with the other Bay, but here’s what Licht would have to do:

    1. Court and sign Davante Adams. The means letting Chris Godwin walk. Adams will cost even more than Godwin, and of course Licht will have to pay a premium, probably $130 million over 5 years, with a substantial signing bonus.

    2. Get permission from Green Bay to talk to Rodgers. Considering that both teams are in the NFC, that isn’t a given. Have an extension in hand that Rodgers agrees to sign prior to the trade as he is in the final year of his contract.

    3. Entice Green Bay to trade him to Tampa Bay. Say goodbye to multiple first-round picks.

    4. Hope and pray that Rodgers then keeps his word and signs the extension. Rodgers is a self-centered jerk, it wouldn’t surprise me if he balked at this stage.

  56. Armybucfan Says:

Let’s be honest…. Please tell me what QB would like replacing the GOAT? Hell I know I wouldn’t. However, if Wilson or Rodgers come here they would have more weapons than they have ever had in their entire careers. Evans, Godwin, FOURNETTE, Gronk, And Brate.

  57. Tacklebockwin Says:

0% chance AR12 comes to Tampa.

  58. PassingThru Says:

And lest I forget, Licht will have to waive lots of vets. It will probably take a $150 million contract to extend Rodgers over 3 years. The “real” contract to both Rodgers and Adams will likely have 3 additional void years. That means roughly $76 million per season for Rodgers and Adams. Right now the Bucs have about $30 million in free cap space. With 3 voidable years apiece, the Bucs will need $10 million in contract restructurings and not sign any of their own free agents.

  59. fern Says:

    True, but you never know.
If we sign Godwin, that WR room is a QB dream.

  60. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

NO THANK YOU PLEASE. Whiny, narcissistic, over-priced me-first choke artist.

  61. adam from ny Says:

lenny is soooo gone now that brady left…

that report was built with tom…

he is ripe to go out and get the biggest contract he can now, in a city he wants to play in

  62. adam from ny Says:

gronk is hangin’ tight for now after chatting with tom…

if tom makes a move, so goes gronky…

tom is never coming back to tampa…

sf, miami, etc. are different stories…

i hope he doesn’t become some lousy hired assassin for a final few years and rings…

    that’s wh*re type sh!t…

it is what it is tho

  63. adam from ny Says:

    rapport * ^^^

  64. Leighroy Says:

Whirfs punishes people consistently before the whistle for, then helps them up after it, while his team has enjoyed 2 winning seasons.

McCoy punished no one, at any time, ever. Then, he wouldn’t just help people up but found time for jokes and shenanigans on losing teams.

    Apples and oranges.

  65. adam from ny Says:

licht might let a small amount of high paid guys walk…

    then where’s the salary issue…there isn’t one

    brady
    jensen
    gronk
    lenny
    cd3
    godwin
    oj

that’s like at least 85-90k right there if signed

  66. David Says:

    Adam from New York

What do you mean Gronk is hanging tight to see what move Brady make?
He retired and there is no move, he’s under contract with the Buccaneers for another year. You can’t retire and just go wherever you want, it doesn’t work that way.
Gronk is waiting to see what the Bucs do it quarterback

  67. adam from ny Says:

  70. Jon Juergensen Says:

If Brady thought the Bucs could contend next season he would have stayed. They won’t, he didn’t, so he’s gone. Time to build for the future. Start Trask.

    1. That’s what lots of teams said about Brady (6th round).
    2. That’s what lots of team said about Favre (2nd round).

  77. Chimichango Says:

Sign Godwin before you pay to bring anyone else in.

  78. Marine Buc Says:

    @ adam

First – we would have to send draft picks to SF for Jimmy G. Are you willing to give up our entire draft for a mediocre often injured QB?

Second – Jimmy G. is still owed $27 million for 2022 season. We currently have less than $20 million of cap space. Yes – they could probably make it work somehow but we still have 27 free agents (12 are starters) plus 6 new draft picks to sign…

Would you really want Jimmy G at QB with no running game, one receiver and one average TE?

That would be a disaster IMO.

  79. Show Me the TDs Says:

Yes, it would be a challenge to follow TB, for sure. I don’t think AR is up to the challenge.

  80. Biff Barker Says:

Stupid scenario about Rodgers. Bucs don’t have the money. Even more stupid about Jimmy G.

If BA stays it’s Gabbert. When Gabbert plays like Gabbert, he fails sooner than later. That’s when we see Trask. If Trask fails miserably, Bucs will be in the market for a FA QB the following season.

  81. adam from ny Says:

    @Marine:

no i don’t want jimmy g…he’s really not the answer imho…

i just typed what i did above ^^^ because i do think he can lead us to a 10-7 type record (then again maybe 9-8 with that schedule we have)…

but nothing much more beyond that come playoff time

  82. Marine Buc Says:

    @ Biff

Agreed. Everyone who is taking the time to comment should really take a little time to research the roster, free agents and salary cap situation before wasting too much time on Rodgers, Wilson or Jimmy G…

I suggest either sportrac or over the cap. Both are solid sources of info.

  83. Marine Buc Says:

    @ adam

Perhaps I would be more interested if he wasn’t so injury prone and we wouldn’t need to give up most of our draft this year…

Plus – Jimmy G. is not a good fit for BAs offense. He is not able to push the ball downfield very well.

I really believe the Bucs have no choice except bringing back Gabbert and letting him compete with Trask.

We are probably going to have a rough year while we rebuild this team. Our 2022 schedule is brutal.

  84. nate Says:

  91. adam from ny Says:

andrew luck behind door #3 ?????

  92. Marine Buc Says:

    @ adam

I would feel about the same as Gabbert/Trask..

At least we wouldn’t have to trade for Winston and the price would be cheap enough to fit our lackluster salary cap situation.

Plus – he does fit the offense better than Jimmy G. Winston can definitely sling it downfield.

I would rather have Winston over Teddy Bridgewater only because Winston is a better fit scheme wise and he would be a very cheap starting QB.

But the outcome would be the same… Probably no better than a 6-8 win season.

  93. Leighroy Says:

“what about a jameis?” who’s on drugs now

  94. MadMax Says:

Just roll with Trask, draft UNC Sam Howell in the first….let them compete.
Get our running game going and bolster the O line with another Guard. Im thinking Chasen Hines in the 3rd if he’s still there.

    Sam Howell
    Brian Robinson Jr
    Alontae Taylor
Trade back into the 3rd for G Chasen Hines.

  95. Jon Juergensen Says:

All you Kyle Trask haters bring back comical memories of all those Gators “fans” who wanted “athletic” Feleipe Franks (he sucked) to play over Trask and even after Franks went down and Trask had a stellar 2019 season wanted “athletic” Emory Jones (he really sucked) to play over Trask in 2020. Trask turned out to be the best quarterback in Florida history.

  96. Pruritus Ani Says:

It’s going to be a problem no matter who comes here. Instead of seeing it as a negative, it may motivate whoever comes here to constantly be at the top of their game. Might not be the best place for a young/inexperienced QB as the pressure and learning curve, will be enormous. With Rogers or even Wilson, it might be the last chance they will have in their careers to go out on top. The caveat of course is that we can keep most of our roster intact.

  97. Marine Buc Says:

    @ Jon J.

I agree. I would bring Gabbert back cheap and let him compete with Trask for the starting QB job.

I think Trask has some promising traits. He needs to work on his arm strength but I like some of the things I saw from KT during his limited action this past preseason.

  98. Lesco_Brandon Says:

it will be nice to see Aaron Rodgers and Suh in the same team. Come on Glazers, open up those checkbooks and sign aaron Rodgers. All or nothing…. GO BUCS!!!

  99. Lesco_Brandon Says:

Imagine Aaron Rodgers in a boat tossing his second Lombardi trophy to Gronk. What a sight to see!

  100. Capece is Kaput Says:

A-Aron Rodgers is one of the biggest ego guys around. No way he would cower in a corner afraid to be compared to Brady if he came here. I think it is a real possibility. I hate the call by Bowels also, but overall, with all the injuries, our D actually improved in the most important category, that being points allowed. Our D is not garbage. We still have lots of talent on offense. Hey, Rodgers has made do with Adams and then just a bunch of other guys. Even if we lose Godwin, we still have Evens and then I think our bunch of other guys, are just as talented as theirs. If A-Aron wanted to come here, the biggest selling point is what they gave Brady and I am not talking about money. They gave him a heck of a lot of control. Control is what A-Aron wants. As long as the $$ is there, I would think we are a serious contender.

Wirfs is the best at his position and GMC was a serial underachiever and soft. GMC got blown out by no name offenses. Enough about him. Which team in need of a QB give Aaron the best chance to win. I’d say the Saints number 1 but they just lost a cheating coach. The Bucs would be number 2 if they fix the secondary problems. Both teams probably have some cap issues and the Bucs have more depth at WR with Godwin if he stays. Rodgers wants to win and Tampa is a great place to live with no state tax. I can see TB12 and Aaron becoming golf buddies and Tampa has some hot babes which is good for Rodgers. New Orleans is a cesspool with slimy people and it stinks 24/7/365. The choice is pretty clear to me. Prove me wrong 😂

  104. Winny Testaverde Says:

Little to no chance Rodgers is traded to The Bucs. Packers likely at the very worst want to trade him to the AFC ( Denver ). Rodgers has bemoaned the fact that he doesn’t like Tampa ( the turf at Ray Jay actually ) and wouldn’t come cheap or easy ( draft picks and cap room ). That was the beauty with Brady ( despite him being a real leader of men; Rodgers a bit of a smarmy/snotty dude )…he came as a free agent ( still amazing ) and for 2 years-50 million ( before re-do to retain others ).

Rodgers likely stays in Green Bay on a 2 year-100 million dollar deal.

My pie in the sky pick would be Andrew Luck. That fruitcake Irsay would never release him from his control, however. And Luck may be too far gone.

Gimme a break $$$ and power talk.

  106. DaBux Says:

Why? Sign Adams and Rogers, let Godwin go. Evans-Adams, and some good young rookie plus a TE off the FA market and Rogers gets another ring.

And can do State Farm commercials in Florida with the Discount Double Check with TB12 and have some fun at Mahomes expense.

In response to JT the Brick, the blowhard Raider Nation fan boy.

-Rodgers followed Brett Favre. No problem there.
-Rodgers considers Tampa because the incentives are huge. Why wouldn’t he want to live and work in the free state of Florida, on a team with some stars still on the roster, in a perfect offense for his free wheeling gunslinging. Being in Florida would get in the way of his off-field Hollywood aspirations either. Against all that, who cares what anyone thinks?
-Rodgers is compared against Brady regardless, no matter what he does, no matter where he plays.
-Does anyone really think Rodgers cares anymore about being the leader of “his own team” and such things that a younger QB would? Does Rodgers really want to play for a “quieter” team so he can escape the headlines? Right now, Rodgers should be pleased that any team welcomes and accomodates him.

  108. stpetebucsfan Says:

Rodgers is a total prima donna who chokes in the playoff. Yes he obviously has talent but there is just too much baggage and far to big a cap hit and on top of that some people have suggested trading ME and two #1’s.

That makes me want to puke. Why add another arrogant head case to the team right after two years of straightening out the culture.

  109. BUC IT Says:

I see dudes on here trashing the Bucs. But the reality is we were only short one of these 3 players and we would’ve won the Super Bowl this year. (Wirfs, Godwin, AB). We only needed one to put us over the top. There’s no doubt in my mind that this current team could win the super bowl with Aaron rodgers. But I agree. There is no reason he would want to have Brady’s 2nds

  110. Goodie mob Says:

Does anyone really think Rodgers, Wilson, or Watson would
Want to follow the goat? Nothing but constant comparison every
Week. Also these guys would have to be willing to take huge
Pay cuts. Aaannnndd the bucs would have to trade picks to aquire
Any of these guys. So here it is. Trask will more then likely be
QB1 they ll be able to sign godwin, Davis, maybe whitehead. Gronk
Is out Jensen is out jpp, lenny, and big suh is out. Will struggle to
Be mediocre for a couple seasons but hopefully draft well to “remodel”

  111. Buczilla Says:

If Rogers wasn’t under contract and agreed to the same contract that Brady had, I would take him over anyone else, but I wouldn’t give up any picks for him.
