The Jets Are Not A Playoff Team

January 3rd, 2022

Replaceable?

There is some crazy spinning going on about the Bucs and Antonio Brown. And Joe hopes some folks will sober up by this morning.

Joe said many times that the Bucs needed Antonio Brown to repeat as Super Bowl champs, especially after Chris Godwin was lost for the season. You cannot reasonably expect Pro Bowl talent or potential Hall of Fame talent to be replaced by dudes on the practice squad on Thanksgiving, or third-string receivers.

(Is Scotty Miller alive?)

But that seems to be the premise Adam Maya is pushing at NFL.com. He believes the Bucs demonstrated yesterday that the Bucs can win with the immortal Cyril Grayson and Tyler Johnson in starting receiver roles.

Watching Tom Brady rally his team from a 14-point deficit without Brown was poetic. Nothing was learned about Brady, of course. He’s been doing this for decades. But to seamlessly incorporate Cyril Grayson, who had eight career targets heading into Week 17, with half of those coming last week, on the fly and hit him with the game-winning touchdown says it all. The Bucs don’t need Brown — they confirmed after the game he’s being released — and they probably never did.

Now hold up. Joe thinks Maya needs to start chugging coffee to sober up or he needs a cold shower.

First, while it’s been nice if not heartwarming to see Grayson step up and Johnson to make a play (finally) here or there, let’s not get carried away.

The team the Bucs struggled to beat yesterday was the Jets. The Jets! Not the Packers or the Rams or the slimy Saints or the Cowboys. The Jets! You know. the same lowlife team that has the worst defense in the NFL?

If Maya truly believes Grayson and/or Johnson can fill the shoes of Brown and/or Godwin, that says as much about Maya as it does Brown.

Grayson and Johnson are no way on the same skill and production level as Brown and/or Godwin. Calm down.

It almost smells like Maya has or had an agenda.

Sometimes you just have to do what is right, and bite the bullet Joe, and hope for the best. No one in their right mind could expect Johnson and Grayson to play up to the Godwin and AB level. And who knows if BL has the where with all to change the offensive scheme to somewhat offset the losses? Or the D won’t allow themselves to be run over by a team like the Jets. But like I said, sometimes you have to do what is right for the sake of doing what is right.

  2. TOM EDRINGTON Says:

Deep down inside, Joe(s) knows in his heart of hearts that the Bucs are most likely, probably a one-win then done in the playoffs….

  3. Francisco Guzman Says:

Brady is the GOAT but unfortunately i feel like the bucs lost too much here. Brady is not a miracle worker. I think they will need the defense to be lights out. I been waiting on a guy like tyler johnson to step up his game more.

  4. Snookman Says:

Who cares, seriously who cares we went 15 years with pure misery and now we are about to be 13 and 4 coming off a Super Bowl winning season. Enjoy the moment we all know this isn’t gonna last right now we have first world problems enjoy every moment

  5. mark2001 Says:

Tom… I’ve felt that way, give or take a playoff game or two, since we couldn’t even beat the Saints or Washington. But I hope I’m wrong.

  6. D-Rome Says:

The Jets played hard and the Bucs once again were playing as if they could throw their helmets on the field and win the game.

  7. Bird Says:

The combo of AB and Godwin are not replaceable . Sorry guys. We had three #1 receivers.

Johnson and grayson ? Cmon man. Mike will get doubled and grayson will be facing a top corner. Hope he steps up. Bucs will have to play perfect football And get a few breaks. Like injuries/covid on teams we are facing

We were pretty set with limited injuries last year
This year everyone injured but brady and most of oline

  8. Tampabaybucfan Says:

This us really about Mike Evans…how so?……well, it takes a receiver of the caliber of Chris Godwin or Antonio Brown to draw attention away from Evans…..but we don’t have that type of receiver now.
Evans will be covered up….especially with him trying to reach 1000….note that Brady kept throwing downfield to Evans who was covered……this will continue.

Time for Gronk & Brate…..Keyshawn……and we will need Johnson to step up…..Grayson is a bonus.

    And, yes….where has Scotty been?

  9. Francisco Guzman Says:

Evans needs to take his game to new heights as well as gronk for this team to score points.

  10. Swampbuc Says:

Cue the former Panthies receiver Steve Smith – when he said last year the Bucs would “get ran” from the playoffs.

He was wrong then but that same comment is right for the current. The Bucs look old, slow, tired, beat up, and ready for the beach. This team doesn’t look like they have any hunger or desire to even win a game without it being handed to them. And yesterday the Jets did their typical Jets thing and handed the Bucs the game.

Even a Panthers team in full tank mode will be hard for this Bucs team to beat.

But on balance, winning the Super Bowl at home last year and the preceding playoff run, makes it all worth it anyway.

  11. Marine Buc Says:

    @ Joe

The younger brother of Antonio Brown and former running back for the Pitt Panthers Desmond Brown, 31, told the Daily Caller that he thinks the NFL star left the game in such a manner “because he wanted to get those incentives and realized it wasn’t going to happen.”

The former-Buccaneers receiver was nearing three incentive targets that would net him $333,000 each if he were to hit 11 receptions, 281 yards, or three more touchdowns in the final two games of the regular season. Before the incident, Brown had three catches for 26 yards.

  12. PassingThru Says:

I think the problem was that the defense was so banged-up, we were hoping for the offense to carry them. Now the offense is even more damaged than the defense.

I’d feel better if AB and Godwin were lost early in the season. Brady has almost no time to develop chemistry with Grayson and the other deep bench receivers. Like most deep backups, they probably take most of their practice snaps with the backup QB.

  13. BUC IT Says:

Tampa Bay’s super bowl hopes are gone now thanks to how Bruce Arians handled AB

  14. Eric Says:

last year we just barely got by a 7-9 redskins team in round one. And earlier the saints had beaten us soundly twice.

and if i remember right we had some unlikely heroics in the playoffs like Scotty Miller in Green Bay.

most of the current playoff teams went through some bad patches, LA dropped 3 straight, Arizona, Dallas struggled then came back. Green Bay almost got beat by a struggling Ravens team.

Relax a bit, playoffs are a different animal. Ill take our chances with Tom.

  15. HC Grover Says:

Meanwhile back at the NFL the stinkin’ Saints are lurking if the Rams lose to the Niners and they beat the Dixie Chicks. Horrors.

  16. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

MarineBuc posted “The younger brother of Antonio Brown and former running back for the Pitt Panthers Desmond Brown, 31, told the Daily Caller that he thinks the NFL star left the game in such a manner “because he wanted to get those incentives and realized it wasn’t going to happen.”

That makes a lot more sense to me, since he had an incentive laden contract and lost 3 games due to his suspension.

  17. dls5492 Says:

The Jets did beat the Titans and the Bengals this season. So they are not a push over.

  18. Beeej Says:

Read an interesting thing about Miller. He’s not playing because everyone has figured out you merely need to jam him at the line and his one great ability has been negated

  19. Marine Buc Says:

    @ Chris

I agree. When a player complains about “being betrayed” it’s usually about playing time and money…

The AB injury story is a BS cover.

  20. BigPoppaBuc Says:

Yesterday in the post game presser, BA said Brady trusts Grayson. That’s a huge vote of confidence and it’s shown on the field the past two weeks. It’s hard to believe we could ride this kind of Cinderella story of a receiver through the playoffs but it’s Tom freaking Brady. He will be coaching these guys up and as long as the O-line keeps protecting Brady will find an open guy.
If this team was ready to implode and lay down we would have seen it yesterday. But instead we’re celebrating victory #12! It seems AB had really become a cancer, so it’s probably best to get him gone. I’m still a believer in this team. If they want another ring, they still have the talent to get it done. Go Bucs!

  21. tampabuscsbro Says:

Seems to be a lot of vultures in the comments right now.

The Jets did have some momentum and have been a better team this month then their record shows. It’s not like we did that against the Jaguars.

  22. SufferingSince76 Says:

Too many injuries every game this year and way too many instances of playing down to the competition.

  23. Darin Says:

Jets played like a playoff team yesterday. Any given day. Bucs still won. They dont have to play well enough to beat the Packers when playing the Jets.

  24. Ben green Says:

The bucs problems start at the top. First off, the GM had no plan to improve the team from last year. I get the desire to do so, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Trouble is, that doesn’t fly in the NFL. It got worse with the draft. How can you justify taking Kyle Trask? You can’t. This is a win now leauge, and especially in the bucs position. Ben guarantees one thing, the band won’t be coming back next year.
Secondarily, this coaching staff. It’s difficult to gauge the psyche of your team, when you’re sitting in a golf cart all practice. Arians is way past his prime, and shouldn’t be back next year. The defensive coordinator has no heat beat. Watching him on the sideline, with that befuddled look says it all. He can’t gameplan, or adjust. Even the offense, with the greatest player the sports ever seen commanding in, looks lost at times. Predictable play calling, passing when you should run. Brady is like everyone else in the sense that he needs coaching. Brady lead teams always got better as the year went along. It was a steady build. This team has been up and down all year

  25. Jordan Says:

Every team in the NFL is good – the Lions beat the Cardinals.

Margin of victory is a massively overrated statistic, as much as you hate statistics I’m surprised by much you get caught in up the one that matters the least.

We have 3 times as many wins as losses, we are better than most teams and only have one loss at home.

We didn’t even exactly cut AB, he cut himself when he left the stadium. At that point, there’s no repairing the situation. If he had just thrown a fit and stayed on the sideline, it’s a more manageable situation.

I doubt we can even resign Chris Godwin next year which is partially why we drafted Darden to try and build up another replacement. None of these guys are going to replace Chris Godwin and AB by themselves, but they can do it by committee since we have Tom Brady and a top 5 offensive line.

  26. stpetebucsfan Says:

Grayson did not play football! He was a track star at LSU.

It took him over a year and a half to transition and learn the game. Listen to what Gronk, BA and others say about him. He is a HARD worker and a great teammate! He’s already captured Brady’s confidence.

We had 3 #1 WR’s. That’s unusual in today’s cap and would have been broken up next year anyway.

We now have a #1 WR who doesn’t get his receptions with blazing speed or route running but with physical superiority. Brady throws it to ME13 when he’s covered all the time. He’ll survive without AB or CG to distract coverage.

Somebody still has to cover Gronk…Brate…Bell..Playoff Lennie..CG..Perriman.

There are still plenty of targets. In the playoffs the safeties will stop anything deep and force us to dink and dunk and run. We now have three backs who are good runners…one of whom is the best pass receiving back in the league.

They simply can’t cover everybody! This will be on Brady and Bowles gameplan.

AGAIN…I just listed two HOF targets!!! An argument could be made for both Bell and Playoff Lennie if they end their careers on giants notes…like a few Super Bowls.

It’s on the OL. If they keep Brady upright and healthy I like our chances.

  27. Buddha Says:

Grayson has been practicing and preparing for this day for 5 tough years with four or five different teams. He is not AB, but that is not entirely a bad thing. Don’t blame BA for this. AB is the one who got himself suspended and it was not managements job to get him his incentives. To think about how his head works, look where he is now. Was that a good decision. Doubtful he will ever see an NFL playing field again.

  28. Bob in valrico Says:

I am more worried about the backups at DE than our receiving backups.

  29. Roy T. Buford Says:

Probably uncalled for to say Maya is drinking. Nobody said Grayson and Johnson had the same skill set as an AB who wants to play. The D was putrid yesterday and the Jets earned their points. That is what needs work the most. Of course they miss Godwin and Fornette. But Grayson stepping up with Perriman and Johnson to go with Gronk and Evans still should be fine for a deep run. Frankly they’re not playing well enough with the starters they had before, so losing AB doesn’t really make a difference given tgiven the circumstances.

  30. New England Patriots Fan Says:

AB was fired on sidelines, and snapped clearly why he tore off shirt and flipped. He wasn’t benched or told to leave or stand down, he was verbally fired and made to stand away from the team sideline for a few minutes then snapped.

  31. Tackleblockwin Says:

Opposing defenses may start to play us differently now with no AB and Godwin. This could be a blessing in disguise if our younger players can step up.

  32. crazyBucs_CL Says:

AB was hurt, he couldn’t play…BA, like he did with Gronk and Miller, wanted to forced him in.
Bucs med team had fail several times this season, BA has been careless as well.
That is what happen… AB was under pain, they wanted him to play.
Is going to came out… BA destroyed permanently Bucs chances this off season.
    He should resign.

  33. Listnfrmafar Says:

Tampabaybucsfan, bad news bro, Evan’s wasn’t doubled teamed yesterday, AB was initially then Gronk when AB was off the field. Grayson is an unknown that’s why he has been open, with the exception of the beautiful TD catch. DC’s will scheme around him now, Evan’s and apparently Scotty are not the deep threats anymore, for whatever reason who knows. But, DC’s have taken the deep ball away all season with two deep safeties? This may not be the answer anymore and with Lenny & Bell, forget Rojo, the underneath play action pass and run exist. FYI, Godwin and AB make that TD catch in their sleep Johmson dropped yesterday. The offense is now on a level playing field with the other PO teams.

  34. Bucsfanman Says:

The guy is a PART-TIME player! A talented one but not one that could be counted on throughout the season.
    Stop making excuses for him.

  35. Brady Era Says:

I believe what we’re seeing right here is politics. Arians doesn’t like AB but had to get him because Brady said so. Arians doesn’t like Brady’s position of power. He said AB had one mess up and he was out; AB did that and behind the scenes Brady said “he stays”. I truly believe Arians wanted AB gone then, but couldn’t. AB had an ankle injury and Arians told him to play or he’s cut. AB, as wild as he is, still is a man, and no man would let another man talk to him like a kid. He threatened to cut AB on the sideline, super disrespectful, so AB did him one better and left mid-game to stick it to him. None of his teammates badgered him, when they definitely could have. I believe they’re going through the motions, to not totally embarrass Arians in front of the league. I believe AB will come back by the play offs, when he’s really needed, like against the Rams. They’ll suspend him a few games, then bring him back for the Rams. Just remember, he hasn’t officially been cut. No official report has come out. I think that says a lot. This is Brady’s team. There’s more politics going on behind the scenes than we can probably imagine.

  36. crazyBucs_CL Says:

The whole team is behind AB; As Tom said “they love him”.
Grumpy/old man is messed up, he is lost.
Time for him to go, before he causes more damage to the team.
    Glazers time.

  39. Bucsfanman Says:

    BA’s fault?! BS!!!
Gronk WANTED to come in and was cleared by medical staff, as was Miller.
If medical staff advised BA that the players were unavailable, they would not be in uniform. This applies to AB as well.
Some want to blame BA so badly.

Oh, and he was soo clearly hurt!!! LMAO!

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^
Remember when you said the Bucs wouldn’t win another game when they were 6-3, and go 6-11? ? Have you noticed they’ve went 6-1 since then? Maybe you should go ahead and tear up your “prognosticator, master soothsayer” card, because you make Miss Cleo from the Psychic Hotline seem like she knows what she’s talking about.

  41. Listnfrmafar Says:

You need AB on that wall, You want AB on that wall. Yesterday BA, it is crystal clear you weakened a SB contending team. You don’t k ow how to defend a title.

  42. Joe Says:

    Marine:

    Read that.

  43. Francisco Guzman Says:

Has AB been officially cut? When can he go through waivers?

  44. HC Grover Says:

Is this a Soap Opera or a NFL season. Looks more like a Soap to me at this point. Or a serial show. Maybe JR will come to TB to save the day. Oh wait he is for Dallas. The whole NFL fandom is following the Bucs now. What will happen next? Maybe Batman Richard Wood from the old Bucs will suit up Sunday. Stay tuned. Watch for #54 to trot out.

  45. PassingThru Says:

    Francisco Guzman

He’s cut when the Bucs turn in his papers, which will probably be announced at 4PM or so.

  46. Listnfrmafar Says:

Soap opera is right. Last week on national television a WFT dlineman pokes another WFT dlineman in the head and the player getting poked throws a punch at the poker. Pretty good form to, if he hit him straight on, definitely would of either broke something or KO’d him. They are both still on the team.

  47. HC Grover Says:

The Soap Opera is on. The Saints are lurking with their VooDoo hex. I bet they get a wild card in this crazy…nutty fun to watch…season. It can not get more exciting than this.
Brady will do it again is my bet.

  48. Francisco Guzman Says:

HC Grover i think it’s gonna be more difficult this year. You just can’t lose that much talent offensively.

  49. AMI_Chris Says:

If the Bucs had been playing the Packers, Rams or Cardinals yesterday, they would have been way worse off than just 14 points down. They would not have had the opportunity to win the game on the final possession.

  50. Show Me the TDs Says:

Brown was a distraction and saw the field very little this season. Ever hear of “Miracle on Ice” or “Rudy” or “Hoosiers”? It can be done and the Bucs will do it. LFG!!!!

  51. RustyRhinos Says:

Move forward, Just like AB did for himself. He was not so hurt enough not to be jumping around on it as he went off the field. I wish AB well in his future, thanks for your Super Bowl season, and this season’s work and contributions.

  52. HC Grover Says:

Francisco I would not be surprised to see AB back on the field. Just to drive em’ all nuts.

  53. Lesko_Brandon Says:

Brady won a SB with just Julian Edelman as his prime receiver. Right now, he has Gronk and Evans plus some supporting cast that is trending upwards. Offense will be fine. I am more concerned with the Defense. They need to stepup and show that they are worth the millions they got paid last season.

  54. Christina Says:

FINALLY someone in the media that is capable of rational thought lol Joe is 100% on this!! I think people who says that dumb ish aren’t really hoping to see us successful this post season.

  55. Sorryjackchuckiesback Says:

Again Joe just trying to find something to write about… Take moss out of the equation and tell me what type of receivers did Brady have around him in some of those super bowls… Hogan, Welker and other Cyrill greyson type receivers!! Yeah he had moss and others that were top 10 talent but usually only one really good receiver and all the others were just made to look good by a guy that reads the defense and throws to who’s open!! Not who has they bigger name!!…. I think Brown being out will make this team better!! The dude is a cancer and I’ve said so from the beginning!! Who knows what stuff he may have been talking or doing during practice that has been hidden!! With Tom thinking he can save anyone! … Watch this team next week I would bet money they look more in sync and that Evans has a 100 yard game and Grayson has at least 60 …. With Perriman getting a few too!! They looked out of sync as soon as Brown got there (which did improve) and as soon as Brown left the building yesterday they looked like a unstoppable TEAM!!

  56. Francisco Guzman Says:

People keep bringing up the Patriots. Different system man. Also edelman was one of the clutchest receivers ever. Patriots had a heck of a coaching staff as well. They would run circles over this coaching staff.

  57. Swampbuc Says:

    There’s snowflake JerkInMichigan spewing again.

How about paying attention to how the team has been playing? They are a few plays and breaks away from not even being in the playoffs. But keep bringing up my projection of the trajectory they were on when I made my comments (ever heard of a frustrated Bucs fan — wait probably not since you undoubtedly never saw them play in the 70s, 80s or early 90s).

You can take your self righteous bag of puffery and use it as a suppository.

  58. Francisco Guzman Says:

Those Patriots teams could run the football as well. The Bucs are gonna have to run the football and play a game of limited possessions.

  59. Rod Munch Says:

The morons who think a practice squad player can replace a HOF player without missing a beat, they’re the same idiots that wanted the team to give $10-milllion a year to Adam Humphries because, well, that’s a bargain for a starting NFL WR. Thing was, Humphries wasn’t, and isn’t, a starting WR, he’s a depth guy that did well when other teams viewed him as what he was, a #4 WR.

I have nothing against Grayson, he’s been great the last couple of weeks, but anyone who thinks he steps right in for Brown is literally a full blown moron. Literally.

  60. Francisco Guzman Says:

Rod Munch i think they can miraculously get to the nfc championship game if they get that second seed. That’s the only way i can see it. Having two home games and avoiding the packers for the time being.

  61. bucs4life Says:

It’s so satisfying to read Joe expose the bullcrap and agendas that some writers have, whether they’re NFL reporters or local ones…

Anyone who has watched football for half a minute knows that there’s a huge difference, a humongous chasm, between teams that possess receivers capable of juking DBs and putting them on skates and teams that only has talentless receivers who can’t get open and limit the QB to checkdowns and screens — thus making the Ds job very easy.

If anyone’s wondering, the agenda is to lure our front office into thinking that Brady can win with grocery stock boys off the street, then drool all over Rodgers and Mahomes after “washed up” Brady we have a playoff collapse.

  62. Joe in Michigan Says:

Swampbuc: Your “comebacks” are as weak as your “predictions”! Hahahaha

  63. Superd950 Says:

    Let’s go get Larry Fitzgerald.

  64. Superd950 Says:

We should bring in Larry Fitzgerald.

  65. Sorryjackchuckiesback Says:

Everyone talking about Brown’s skills… Yes his skills can’t be replaced by a guy like Grayson!! DUH!! … But the distraction ab causes and the fact you can see ab not running the correct route and Brady throwing into an empty field and just the cancer he causes in a locker room is not worth the “talent” … Just before they got brown they looked like they were really starting to gel… Soon as they signed ab they lost a bunch of games.. they did recover but it was obvious they were trying to force ab the ball!! …. Now Tom can just look for the open receiver…. Soon as ab left the field the offense exploded in the passing game!! Brady needs to just throw to who’s open not to Target any certain receiver!! …. No you can not replace ab talent… But the overall chemistry of the team can get better!! You still have Evans and Gronk … And Brate who not to long ago had a much bigger role and came through more than not… How about getting oj involved… Talent or not you can’t have a cancer cell that doesn’t effect other cells around it!! Ab is a cancer to every locker room he’s been in!! I was against getting him all along because I would rather integrity over a super bowl!! Some of y’all act like it’s you out there playing, like you have some kind of stake in the game!! Get a life it’s just a game!! And I played all the way from peewee to college …. “WE” didn’t win the game yesterday, a bunch of millionaires who most of them wouldn’t spit on you if you were on fire did!! ESPECIALLY Antonio (I only care about myself) Brown …. It’s just a game!! …. And just cause he can run fast with a football doesn’t mean AB should be allowed to get away with the crap he has!! Any of us plebs would be in jail for the things he’s done!! …. I would bet money next game they look more in sync without him!! … Hell he hasn’t played for half the season anyway!!

  66. Mr. Underhill Says:

    Steelers fan here.

I was glad the Steelers traded Brown.

    LOCKER ROOM CANCER.

And he has proven an unwillingness to behave after the Steelers. The Raiders cut him, the Patriots cut him, and now the Bucs have, too.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

He will end up in prison within 5 years.

  67. captivajim Says:

I just hope this does Not create locker room issues for bucs..BA says” he;ll play ME unless he actually limping” so he can get 1000 yrds to keep his record going ..If ME is 100%–fine let him play.. otherwise he should sit and hopefully be ready for playoffs

That is NOT in the best interest of the TEAM. Its SELFISH

Its no secret that BA has had problem with Brown for some time now.. He saw an opportunity to push Brown over the edge & took it .. Also not in Team interest–simply SELFISH

Can you imagine what would happen to you in military and you did ‘kneel for the national anthem’ ??? what you do to those “subordinates”
    pfffff gime a break.

@”… AB fired himself with his A-hole behavior and anyone who supports indulging that must not understand what professionalism, morals, team work, integrity… mean…”

TB12 supports him, all his team mates support him.
BA screwed up big time. Now he knows too…. AB was hurt. BA’s stubbornness got above logic.
    BA is hurting the team.

What did Brady do with Amendola the gondola, Edelman the peddleman and Hobbled Hogan?

  72. Swampbuc Says:

JerkInMichigan – ooh, did you get that one from your 3 years in 5th grade? How about “I know you are but what am I?”

  73. Wesley Says:

Remember all those deep balls to Miller last year, what the hell happened to that?

  75. Eddie Marz Says:

Joe Joe your looking at the wrong thing. Your saying that you can’t win with a sixth round QB. If Grayson and Johnson and even Perriman make plays The Bucs can still win it all. Ever heard of the “no name defense”? No superstars just players who brought home the bacon. The Bucs have enough to win if this remaining group can stay healthy. GOBUCS!

  76. Mike Johnson Says:

Nice dreaming there Eddie. Look, the Bucs have lost 3 pf their very best on offense. @nd teamers are not..1st teamers. Word has just come out we may have lost another running back. On defense, White is playing hurt and has slowed down. I won’t even mentioned David, JPP, and Shaq. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t fully recover for the playoffs. We are not a championship team this year. Last time this year, we were hitting our stride. And now we will be..limping into the playofss. Like your faith in our team. But no ring this year. Maybe a win or 2 in the playoffs though …Maybe. GO BUCS!

That’s some entertaining shade you threw there. And I agree btw.

  78. Swampbuc Says:

JerkInMichigan is the genius who called Brady over the hill and his signing a frivolous splash move. But have no accountability for your own tripe while you cling to one frustrated narrative by a 45 year Bucs fan – hypocritical much or just a snowflake?

    Steelers fan here.

I was glad the Steelers traded Brown.

    LOCKER ROOM CANCER.

    ==========

He wasn’t a cancer here, and the Bucs won a SB, in large part because they signed him. I never heard anyone on the team badmouth him, and even after yesterday I haven’t heard any players badmouth him or say he was an issue behind the scenes. That’s the difference between having the GOAT Tom Brady, and the white Josh Freeman, Big Ben.

AB amd ME were sitting next to one another on the bench. these were 2 Very Good players ,both injured/less than 100%, sitting there…… a TV shot briefly showed Brady walk in front of them and talk to both of them …

shortly a video taken by a fan in the stands shows AB get up/upset at something..ME then gets up to calm him down –even pulled his uniform down as AB starts to pull off his uniform—then AB pulls away lifts off his uniform & leaves the game..

I think Brady came over and told them that BA wanted them both back in the game when neither wanted to play because they knew they were less than 100%..BA forced the issue with Brown because of the DEEP dislike he has always had for him.

So far , I’ve not heard any players complain about AB last yr , camp , or this yr . I think Brady can keep the team together–he put his view out there in the post game interview.

Even a Panthers team in full tank mode will be hard for this Bucs team to beat.

    Another dumb “prediction”.

  83. Swampbuc Says:

Hey Jerk — tell us again how Brady is washed up, over the hill and a frivolous splash move that the Bucs can’t afford because they need to re-sign thei good players? How about that?

    Snowflake?
