Impressive Season For Tom Brady

Big numbers.
Joe thinks Tom Brady is onto something special.
Currently, as Jeff Kerr of CBS Sports points out, the future Hall of Fame Bucs quarterback leads the NFL in touchdowns with 42 (passing and rushing). Brady leads the NFL in touchdown passes with 40, plus two runs.
Let’s just focus on touchdown passes. Up until recently, Brady has largely relied on throwing to Pro Bowlers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Both foot-rubbing film guru tight end Rob Gronkowski and former Bucs receiver furniture-tossing, bicycle-winging, tantrum-throwing quitter Antonio Brown missed large chucks of the season with injuries.
Now? Only Gronk and Evans are around.
If Brady throws for three touchdowns tomorrow, it is a safe bet that Brady will finish leading the league in TD passes. Given that Brady will have done this being forced to throw to the immortal Cyril Grayson, among others, is even more impressive for a 44-year old.

Again. Before he was a buc. Hated the dude. Always winning. Every superbowl. We sucked every year. But always respected his game
But when he came to the bucs. I knew it was instant upgrade. Playoffs yup

Been a brady fan long before he was a buc , what a dream when bucs got brady . One thing i do admire about rodgers is how he stuck with what he believed in with vaccine fiasco. I remember how quickly brady got rid of that maga hat . AB is right about brady being a great politician he will do anything to win.

Brady is the GOAT, But Rodgers has been more consistent overall. The Bucs easily could have the #1 seed, but the team played down to the competition when playing the Saints the first time, and the WFT game.
Just head scratching starts by a TB12 led offense, especially the WFT game. Games that they got behind in. The end of the 1st Saint game Brady just flat threw a duck for a pick 6 that iced the game for the Saints.
Is Tom great, YES YES YES, but Rodgers has been more consistent. Really not fun to say, because I would like Brady to win MVP, my vote goes to everyones favorite QB to hate on lolololol

The GOAT is playing at as a high level as any in his entire career. Like Marine Buc said in a previous thread, if Godwin isn’t re-signed then we need to target a WR in the 1st round. I believe Brady is enjoying playing for Bruce and this team but AB’s drama and likely drama within the locker room that we don’t hear about was a drag. That problem is now gone. Obviously Licht is smart enough to make sure Tom is plugged into the thought process. Tom should and I’m sure does have some input in draft and free agent matters.

Ditto to birds first comment about Brady. Never liked him but always realized what a great player and leader he has been . While watching his last game as a patriot against the titans I thought at the time the pick 6 to end the game was a very nonchalant throw and his body language was kind of funny almost like fu Bill and rest of ne ingrates I am out of here and good riddance . Wonder what all of our new buc fans , from new England think seems to be a lot of them.

Ben Green is 100% correct. Both, BA and BL are passengers. If Brady called all their plays and not change them at the line, we wouldn’t even have the current win number. It will be a rough ride this post season, but one thing everyone should know is to never count TB out. He always could elevate less talented receivers and if defense raises the play level to that of last year, Bucs can beat any team anywhere.

Unfortunately like Stone crab said. Last year Brady deserved it and the voters went with stats and this year they’ll vote Shaaron Rodgers because he’s the incumbent MVP and an easy vote, even though he lied. Brady has gone thru so much more adversity while on this team; learning a new offense and teammates yet won the Superbowl its MVP, and this year in spite of all the injuries on both sides especially his best weapons and defensive collapses yet we keep winning in spite of all of that. All of this and he didn’t have to lie about getting the vaccine or card. We win against Carolina and it’s I think #2 defense without scum AB should cement the league MVP.
