Playoff Lenny Gets Official Props
December 1st, 2021Playoff Lenny had a damn fine game at Indianapolis on Sunday. This morning, the NFL gave Playoff Lenny his due.
He was awarded “NFC Offensive Player of the Week.”
Playoff Lenny had seven catches and 131 scrimmage yards (100 rushing, 31 receiving) with a career-high four touchdowns (three rushing) in the Bucs’ 38-31 win.
This is the first Offensive Player of the Week award for Playoff Lenny and he is the first Bucs running back to receive the award since Bobby Rainey (Week 11, 2013).
Other players who have received similar honors this season have been punter Bradley Pinion (Week 1), safety Mike Edwards (Week 2) and 17-game-loathing, salad-bar-hating, park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, helmet-tossing, football-punting, Bucs-Super-Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady.

He is having a great year and will get paid… but not by the Bucs.
Big contracts for RB’s have a bad track record.

Lenny is a “money” back. The closer to the playoffs, the tougher he gets. The guy is a beast this time of year. And J’ville dumped him…guess their stories about him weren’t true after all.. Bet they are regretting it now.
